Steve is a great instructor! He helped me through everything and was great at finding ways to learn to suit me. Ups and downs but I passed with flying colours! Thank you for the past 6 months it's been ace! Such a laugh would recommend to anyone.

Stephen was a brilliant driving instructor. I passed my test first time thanks to his great work. Stephen was very patient with me and he taught me everything I needed to know to pass my driving test. He is a friendly instructor to learn to drive with and he gave the confidence I needed to pass my test first time. I would highly recommend Shawpass to anybody learning to drive.

I found Steve to be an excellent instructor, as he's very patient but will also push you. His vast knowledge about driving all kinds of vehicles keeps you engaged and also makes you think about how other road users see you, be that cars, vans, or HGVs. He taught me to do drive in the correct way, safely but also economically. Thanks to Steve's help I passed first time, so I'd definitely recommend him if you're a bit unsure or apprehensive.

Stephen has bags of patience, but at the same time allows you to make mistakes before calmly discussing them retrospectively. This encourages you to adapt and learn with minimal supervision. It really sets you up for what I believe to be a very high standard of practical driving skills and road awareness/attitude. And his forte being economical driving techniques (he is from Yorkshire after all)!

Had a previous instructor and switched to Stephen. I found his knowledge and professionalism second to none, not only that he is a very likeable person and very easy to get along with. I recently passed my driving test (first time) after lessons with Stephen. Stephen was a patient and thorough instructor, who made me feel comfortable when learning, he also managed to fit me in around my busy University schedule, which was brilliant. I recently passed my test first time with only 2 minors with Stephen. He was a very patient instructor and helped me not only to get me through my test but offer useful tips, advise and practice for when I am out on the road. He is very accommodating and managed to fit me in around work and other hobbies. I would recommend Stephen to anyone I know.

I don't usually write reviews for anything, but I found the service offered by Stephen at Shawpass driving so exceptional that I wanted to let others who are thinking of taking lessons know how good he is. I found Stephen to be informative, patient, and honest when it came to teaching me the mechanics of driving. In addition Stephen approached my lessons in a manner unlike other driving instructors I have sat under. Rather than driving round and round test routes Stephen added a myriad of different experiences and challenges to broaden my horizons, in the hope of making me a driver who can tackle any situation. He has a great knowledge of the car and shares that information freely, which allowed me to understand the expenses, wear and tear and proper maintenance which come with driving. All in all I would recommend Stephen to anyone, without hesitation.

Pass first time with only one minor with no extra driving experience outside of the lessons. Stephen is a patient and professional instructor. What can I say? Thank's Stephen! Anyone who doesn't know where to start when looking for an instructor you don't need to look any further. Stephen is your man. He has a relaxed attitude to driving and he makes you feel at ease when behind the wheel. Everyone is nervous when learning to drive but after just a couple of lessons under Stephen's supervision I felt calm and relaxed and I looked forward to every lesson. He uses a step by step approach and helped me to improve on areas where I was struggling until I was at a suitable enough level to be able to put in for my test, which I passed on the fist attempt with 5 minors. He won't rush you or undermine you at any point, he will simply help you to be a confident driver. Learning to drive is expensive so its important to get your money's worth and with Shawpass you definately will. Thank's again Stephen.

Stephen is a great driving instructor and I would recommend him to anyone I know! I had been taught by other instructors but found their style of teaching did not help, however Stephen's approach gave me the confidence in my driving ability. As a result of Stephen's teaching I passed on my first attempt.
