Sharon is incredible! I have had 2 sessions with Sharon and she is great at what she does. Sharon is really professional, helps you to feel very comfortable, and is excellent at what she does with so many helpful suggestions if required. I now work with Sharon as I when I feel I need to get through a tough spot.
I suffered from a fear of flying for over a decade. Upon a recommendation I meet with Sharon and undertook some hypnotherapy. I must admit to being sceptical, but went to the appoint with an open mind. I can only judge Sharon's work from the outcome I received. I flew to Rome in September with my partner for a wonderful holiday.
Sharon is an excellent therapist and I'm frankly amazed at what profound benefits I got from only one session with her. I visited Sharon to help me with my crippling fear of flying as I had my first long haul flight coming up. I was so scared to even seek help that I left it until the very last minute, I emailed Sharon the weekend before I was due to fly - nevertheless, Sharon replied to my email right away and fit me in for a session. She explained clearly what to expect from the session, as well as how hypnotherapy works. She started with teaching me practical self-help techniques to help me if I feel anxious. After that we had the hypnosis part of the session which was an incredible experience. I felt safe and in control the whole time. A few days after I went on my trip overseas and I had almost zero anxiety flying. I've had 4 other flights since and I've not had any panic in any of them - incredible. I met Sharon in 2015 when I wanted help with caffiene reduction and to stop caffiene intake. I stopped immediately after the first session of hypnotherapy, as she gave me the mental tools to help deal with the cravings. I returned to her this year, 2023, to help me with better deal with overwhelming depression. We've only had a couple of sessions and she's helped me examine a few key moments in my early years to try to overcome difficult feelings. It worked wonders the very difficult cycle of intrusive thoughts have disappeared. It's been life changing already. I've tried talking therapy, CBT, anti depressants, (which I'm still on) I can categorically say that hypnotherapy has been the most beneficial by far. I would recommend anyone to speak to Sharon for hypnotherapy sessions, to better understand themselves and for self healing. She's an excellent listener, very good at explaining things and explaining the techniques she uses. She's worked wonders for me.Moreexpand_more
Using hypnotherapy to help me stop smoking after more than 20 years, Sharon's service has been revolutionary. I had previously tried one other, but the results I've seen from this are so shocking, even to me. My whole relationship with smoking has changed, I find myself in situations where I would traditionally have no self control in complete control. Thanks for shocking and surprising me everyday!
I had reason to ask Sharon for some help as I had some exams coming up and have always felt less confident and nervous when approaching exams. With the help of some breathing exercises and some hypnotherapy, both of which greatly helped, when the exam time came round I felt in control and passed. The time spent with Sharon was extremely valuable.
I first heard about Sharon from a friend in Bristol, where Sharon had helped with her fear of flying. My wife had also used Sharon on this recommendation to help with her flying nerves and I have to say, the difference afterwards was incredible. She can relax and enjoy holidays now, including worry-free run ups to flight departure dates. On seeing this, I booked in to see Sharon to help with my public speaking as I was giving a speech at my wedding later that year. We carried out the session over Skype and the whole process was very friendly and informative. Afterwards, I could already feel a new confidence and on the day the speech went very smoothly and was surprised how more relaxed I was compared to other times I'd spoken in public. Thanks again, I cannot recommend Sharon enough!
I had a session with Sharon to address my Trypophobia. I have never had anything done like this before and didn’t know what to expect, but I was not disappointed! Sharon put me at ease straight away and using her techniques she addressed my phobia. By the end of it I was no longer utterly disgusted by the images I was seeing, I was looking for the beauty in the things I could not look at only an hour before. I was trying my hardest to still be disgusted and I couldn’t! It’s amazing how effective it is, in such a short time. I couldn’t quite believe it, but a week on and I can still look at the things that would send me into a spin before. Would recommend to absolutely everyone, regardless of what you are suffering from. Amazing!
I found Sharon really approachable on the phone when making an enquiry and in person. I learnt a lot in the first session and was able to practice and build on improvements over time. I would definitely recommend Sharon as a practitioner and hypnotherapy generally.
I have had two sessions with Sharon to help me with my attempts at weight loss. In a very relaxed and friendly way she gave me some techniques to help retrain my brain on how it thinks about food and also help motivate me when I’m struggling to get to the gym. Results have been positive so far and I’ll have no hesitation in returning should the need arise. Highly recommended.
I visited Sharon for anxiety related issues and she was superb! I can’t believe how a 45 minute session has changed my life. For many years I tried other therapies/self help/research and nothing worked, but one session with Sharon totally did. It was also so refreshing that Shari did not try to get as many sessions out of you as possible, in fact she was so confident in her ability that she recommended just one session, which was totally correct! She was also on hand for email advice afterwards to remind me of some of the things we had covered. I would not hesitate to recommend, I just wish I had found her earlier!
I contacted Sharon in March following a first skiing trip. I had spent three days anxious and petrified at the heights I faced on the holiday. I was due to ski again later that month and I was determined to enjoy it and gain some control of my feelings and fear. We covered my fear of heights, speed and feeling no control in two sessions. I was given strategies to use to help me on my trip. The outcome of my sessions was that I was more able to enjoy the whole skiing experience without the terrifying panic attacks as in my previous holiday. I still have fears whilst on the side of the mountain but nowhere near as bad! . I have even managed and enjoyed a 'cliff walk' in Cornwall.
I contacted Sharon, wanting to stop my craving for sweet food after eating anything savoury. After an in-depth discussion about my connection to sweet foods and my bad habits, she was able to find the source of the issue and retrain my brain. In the first time in over ten years I’m no longer a slave to my sweet tooth. I can still enjoy the odd treat but it doesn’t have a hold on me and no longer wreaks havoc with my blood sugar all day. I’m now running and feel really reenergised. Thank you Sharon!
