I gave Round The Bend Driving School 5 stars for value, service, and quality, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. My instructor, Mark Tester, deserves special mention for his outstanding teaching. From the very first lesson, Mark created a calm and safe environment, making it much easier to gain confidence and build my skills on the road. His clear guidance and excellent subject knowledge ensured I was thoroughly prepared for my test. The company’s professionalism and the quality of their instructors make them stand out, and I’d highly recommend Round The Bend to anyone learning to drive.

After a gap of over 10 years since my last driving lessons with another company, I was quite nervous about getting back behind the wheel. Juliette has been absolutely fantastic! Patient and calm at all times and extremely easy to talk to, exactly what's needed with someone whose nerves are either zero or through the roof. Super helpful with scheduling and rescheduling the test as well. We got the Pass! :D.

I had a good experience learning with Round the Bend, they came recommended from family and friends! I learnt with Matthew and passed my driving test first time! He gave very clear instructions and helped build my confidence driving. I appreciated how he supported in rescheduling my driving test and booking in last minute lessons to ensure I was feeling ready.

Clare is an amazing instructor. She is kind, patient, personable and did a great job of giving me confidence with my driving. She taught me from scratch and explained things in a way that I could understand and implement (I sometimes struggle with following verbal instructions, and imagining what things will 'look like', but she uses visual aids, which were very helpful when I was just starting out, and when I didn't understand something, she adapted to suit me). She really is a great teacher and if you're looking for a driving instructor I would recommend her incredibly highly!

I honestly cannot thank Gemma enough for her support whilst learning to drive, she made me feel at ease, we had a laugh over silly mistakes and she really helped me over come my fear of driving massively, 1st time pass! I’m forever grateful.

Claire was an absolutely wonderful driving instructor. I learned how to drive in my home country over 10 years ago, and needed to take a UK driving test after moving to England. It can be really challenging to lose some of your old habits with driving, but Claire's prompts and tips did the job really well. She was attentive, professional, really observant and ready to correct any faults. At the same time, Claire was always sweet, positive and helped me a lot with building my confidence after failing my first test. 100% recommend Claire to anyone who needs to either learn from scratch or to top up their current driving level. Thanks for everything Claire and round the bend team! :).

Duncan Moore is a fantastic driving instructor. My son looked forward to his lessons each week. My son passed his driving test first time. .

Cannot recommend Duncan enough, his teaching methods set you up to be confident on the roads right from the first lesson. After starting in February having never stepped foot in the drivers seat before, I’m pleased to say I passed my test first time and know I’m more than ready to start driving solo straight away!

Gemma was absolutely fantastic, I started learning in January and passed first time in August. Gemma was patient, clear and understanding throughout every step of the way, sending me extra videos on elements I needed help with and always remembering my strengths and weaknesses. I needed extra lessons leading up to my test as I wasn't quite ready, and I was extremely grateful Gemma made this work as I couldn't have passed without those extra sessions. I'd recommend Gemma and Round The Bend to anyone looking to learn how to drive, a wonderful experience.

My instructor was Duncan and I would give him 100/5 if I could! So calm and thorough and he helped me pass first time with no minors! Couldn't recommend Duncan and Round the Bend higher.

I was introduced to Clare a few years ago through a family friend, and I could not recommend her more. She takes such care and pride in her teaching and I have always felt her teaching has made me a safe and capable driver. I sadly did not pass on my first time during Covid and put off the second test until July this year. Clare went out of her way to give up her free time to accommodate me in the lead up to my test and I passed after a very comfortable drive! I could not have done any of it without her and will miss spending Monday mornings with her! If you are looking for an instructor for yourself or your child, who will make you/them feel really confident and capable behind the wheel - I could not recommend her more!
