Revive Studios

Absolutely stunning results achieved from my parents' 1960s slides, by Revive Studios. The depth of colour and the clarity is remarkable - and the restoration process is respectful of the original images. Genuinely worth the cost - and a friendly and efficient service too. A+++ Fantastic!

My wife inherited a box of several hundred 35mm slides dating back to the 1960’s, which had sat unopened in storage for many years until a fire, followed by the recent theft of other items from the storage facility prompted us to go through them before they fell victim to some other disaster beyond our control. After excluding everything for which there was no foreseeable prospect of identifying either the subject, or when and where it was taken, we were left with approximately 120 slides for which there was an evident connection to us and the wider family, at which point we turned to Revive Studios for assistance in preserving this unique family record in a form which would be more convenient to share with others. We opted for Revive Studios’ Superior quality slide scanning service, with collection of the slides from our home and subsequent return, and I can only say that the quality of service we received from them has far exceeded our expectations. Having received back the scanned images both before and after correction and enhancement, both the clarity of the enhanced images, and the accuracy of the colours has amazed us. For printing purposes, I’m confident that the scanning resolution would support enlargement at least up to A3 size, and possibly beyond in some instances. Other family members who have had the opportunity to view the enhanced images are also delighted with them. The collection and return service was handled smoothly and efficiently. We’d used the original plastic boxes that the slides came in to hold them whilst in transit, and Revive Studios not only returned the slides in the same boxes; they numbered the boxes so we could cross-reference each image to the original slide – a very helpful extra touch which I hadn’t expected. We are so pleased with the service that we received that we’ve resolved to use Revive Studios when we eventually haul out our own 35mm slide collection for review. I’d have no hesitation in recommending their service to anyone who wants to preserve, enjoy and share their slides in a digital format. .Moreexpand_more

I have had a fantastic experience with Revive Studios. I had a bunch of old slides from a childhood spent in wales, england and usa and Revive studios brought these old slides back to life. They made prints out of the slides so I could put them together in a photo album to present to my younger brother for his September birthday. I also had some old photos which Revive enhanced them and brought them back to life also. Gwyn was so easy to talk to also and just a great person. I am very grateful to him for helping to create such wonderful pics. I would highly recommend them. I will probably be using them in the future too.

Thank you so much really pleased with the restoration of my Dads 2nd world war photos, and other photos I had which were taken in the early nineteen hundreds the transformation were unbelievable, I am so pleased and I cannot thank you enough for your professionalism and the quality of your work. I would defiantly recommend you to my friends. I still have lots of photos I like done and I would choose you every time. I am looking forward in writing my dads story and I have got great photos I can pass down to my grandchildren! Thank you so much really apricate your talents!

Found a number of 35mm slides dating back to the 1950s and no viewer. Found Revive Studios on the web. The conversion to. Jpg files and prints was brilliant. I would recomend Revive to anyone.

I've used Revive now for over 10 years, first to convert old 35mm slides to digital and over the last 2 months to digitise my entire photo library (around 1000 photos). Gwyn at Revive Studios did a superb job - I was very nervous about giving over my collection, but I sent in smaller batches and each time Gwyn confirmed receipt and within about 2 weeks I got the email with a link to my digital versions. I was amazed at the quality, even with the standard service it is truly amazing how they have come out. I would totally recommend this company if you want to convert your old format material.

The last ever photo we took of my Mum had become badly faded in one patch and we couldn’t find the original to reprint. I sent the original to Revive and they have worked a miracle! Not only have they eliminated the faded patch but they have enhanced the whole picture. It now looks vibrant and alive once more! We are thrilled with the quality of the photo and the service too. I’m not good with technology but this was no problem. I received such a personal service communicating by email and phone before sending my photo in by post. Gwyn was so understanding and helpful. Great company - would thoroughly recommend!.

Having over 200 colour slides, many stretching back to the early 1960's when most people had only monochrome pictures - I was keen to preserve and digitise them. I tried miserably to do this myself so wanted to hand over to a professional. I looked at many businesses but decided on Revive due to reviews and price. I tested them out with their free sample service and was impressed. So I took the plunge with the rest. I have to say the results are excellent and both the pick up and return of my slides was faultless and quick.

Have various 35mm transparencies from sixty years ago (in plastic and glass frames, so protected, which had prints from at that time. Because of incorrect rotation one needed to have new print made, so had done on 'the High Street'; quality and image very poor. So found Revive Studios on-line and sent transparency to them. Had two images returned on-line, one being the first original print (very similar to the afore-mentioned), the other being the Fixed and Enhanced copy; cannot fault the amazing quality and sharpness - and service. Now will just have to find others to re-print! The attached photo I have had to reduce resolution as original file size too big for attachment.

Excellent team. Felt very personalised and responsive. I love the quality of the conversion and the downloads were super easy. Will be sending more of my old VHS to them! The tapes were picked up, dropped off with tracked delivery. No complaints.

Outstanding service. Process was really simple. Slides that were over 50 years old came out brilliantly and even with modest postage charge, Rivive Studios were less than half the price of a local business. Very happy customer.

Whatever they do is always right and sometimes verges on the miraculous. .

Wow! Amazing specialised service. Great value for money, better than Snappy Snaps and other national high-street stores. Excellent quality conversions. Thank you to Gwyn and all at Revive Studios.

My first dealings with revive to digitise 16mm film going back to the 1930s. It had been stored in terrible conditions but Revive did an amazing job of bringing them back to life. Quick, efficient and affordable ! Ten out ten on all counts ? .

This was my second order with Revive and I was amazed at the service and quality of their work. Some of the slides I sent in for processing had seriously degraded, but I was really taken back to see the photos brought back to life. I will certainly be using Revive Studios again and happy to recommend - their pricing is also reasonable.

Gwyn is a Magician! The old photo of my mum was in such a poor state of repair that I thought it would be impossible to revive. How wrong was I. The end result was remarkable, as well as the black and white photo, there was also a colour one done as well. The service was fantastic, great value for money. I cannot fault anything about Revive and Gwyn.

Thrilled with results from the transformation of an old black and white photo which was more than 75 years old, Gwyn did an amazing job, my 92 year old mother was delighted to see herself and family members in colour, brought back so many memories for her. Many thanks, would definitely use the services again.

Revive did a wonderful job for us. Aptly named, they brought new life to very old slides, and we now have clear, full digital copies and prints of everything that had been neglected as inaccessible. Seeing pictures from your schooldays on the screen when you’re nearing your 80s is pretty special! Confess that I messed up the order a bit, but Gwyn was very helpful and swiftly sorted things. Great service all round. .

Absolutely delighted, thank you! Had cine and video film transferred. Then had colour slides digitalised - I can not believe the quality - super colour and sharp prints - they do not look 60 years old! Confirmation of arrival and completion appreciated too.

Lovely company to deal with. Great communication when precious photos were in transit and received confirmation of safe delivery as well as progress reports and beautifully presented memory sticks and beautifully put together slide shows. A lovely company to deal with. Sensitive and professional. Excellent end products of both scanned cine films and slides. Thoroughly recommend.
