In a world where more and more people want to take money off you and provide little or no value for money, I just wanted to flag up Refresh which is run by Andy. I contact Refresh PSC regarding a damp problem. The receptionist was lovely and arranged for Andy to come out and view the problem without any charge. I found Andy to be very honest and thorough, and he clearly explained what was going on - the problem was condensation and he explained in detail the solutions on how to resolve it. Andy was very professional and he did not want to sell his services and his products just to make some money. He gave about 1 hour to assess and discuss the condensation problem, and returned back to the property, as I was running late and wanted to meet him face to face. Andy and his team are a welcome antidote to the hoards of cowboys out there who claim to be damp experts. The work was to address rising damp in the rear wall of a flat. It was only a small job yet Refresh PSC gave it the priority, scheduling and attention to detail one might expect from a larger more lucrative role. They were reliable, everyone turned up exactly when they said they would, and kept to the promise that the flat would be protected from mess and left clean on departure. The wall was left in a finished state ready for redecoration without further input from us needed. The resulting paperwork and follow up was undertaken to the same level of diligence. On my experience thoroughly recommended.

We have recently had our cellar renovated and we are very pleased with the outcome. Options were clearly explained both before and during the process and Andy was great at keeping us informed of who was doing what and when. The work was of a high standard. Having just had the work done, the plaster and finish looks to be of good quality. A professional service and demonstrated a willingness to be flexible around the needs of their customer.
