RAD Clinics was established to provide accessible medical ultrasound imaging and specialised clinical services that are often hard to obtain due to long waiting times and a shortage of expertise in mainstream healthcare. Our highly skilled team of specialists has extensive experience in performing diagnostic medical ultrasound imaging and ultrasound-guided pain management procedures. Many of our specialists also work in various radiology and musculoskeletal departments across multiple NHS and private hospitals in the East and West Midlands. In addition to our team’s extensive clinical experience, we strive to bring the latest state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging technology directly to you, ensuring safe and appropriate diagnosis and treatment of your condition.

Vijay Rajaram is a highly experienced consultant physiotherapist and sonographer with over 23 years of expertise in managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. He specialises in ultrasound-guided injections and performs more than 3000 procedures annually across private and NHS hospitals.

Starting as a physiotherapist, Vijay has held various clinical and academic roles in MSK services within the NHS and private sectors. He completed his master’s degree in medical ultrasound at Bournemouth University and is one of the few physiotherapists trained in the fundamental components of sonography.

Vijay is dedicated to helping patients who experience pain and have not responded to conservative treatments. His unique approach offers a comprehensive “one-stop appointment” that includes consultation, diagnostic scan, injection (if necessary), and same-day reporting.
