My desktop computer went from not working to working! Stephen was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to fix it- taking care of the hardware issue and making sure that everything would work at its best. Excellent service, swift delivery, accommodating, expert advice and very friendly. I am really pleased with the service and strongly recommend it! Thank you Stephen!
PC Help Man got me out of a serious spot, allowing me to keep working at a very busy time. I can't recommend Steve highly enough. Really professional, down-to-earth, expert advice in language I could understand, and great value. He also helped sort out a number of other issues which were not the immediate problem. Excellent!
PC Help man has totally lived up to his name. I am incredibly grateful for his speedy accurate diagnosis of my computer problems. I rely heavily on my pc and for the past six months or so, my computer was unbelievably slow, constantly crashing and freezing. Numerous trips to a local pc repair company (who shall remain nameless) did nothing to solve the problem in the long term. A week or so after they had 'fixed' it, the problems would reappear and I would have to shell out yet more money again and again and they still could not figure out what was wrong. PC repair man, identified the root cause of the problem, explained it to me clearly and in layman terms, did exactly what was needed, AND all at short notice, (something the other company could never manage). My computer is now working brilliantly, I would not hesitate to recommend him, he was polite, transparent with his costs and bottom line is I now have a computer which does not feel like it is teetering on the edge of yet another frustrating crash.
Contacted Steve after 2 days no help with Microsoft helpline. Our e-mail would not function. We discussed this problem. Steve came over the next day as agreed and sorted out the problem within the hour, also he did a marvellous job on making our PC allot more secure than it was at no extra cost. I found Help Man Services very good indeed. Especially efficient was the recommendation that there were freeware programmes out there that did not need constant paid updates, which has proved to be correct. I requested support for setting up my new computer equipment (laptop, monitor etc)and ensuring key programmes were up and running correctly. We estimated up to two hours as the software was already loaded and data had been transferred from my old laptop. It was unfortunate that Steve arrived late and under time pressure. He had omitted to tell me that he also charged a call out fee on top of his hourly rate. He made me feel very uncomfortable by commenting adversely on several purchasing decisions I had made, in a way that came over as arrogant. It was also unhelpful (there was nothing I could do about them at that point). I do not doubt his technical skills but feel he needs to review his interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with people who are not "techies. " Later I had cause to call the Currys phone helpline (one of the purchasing decisions he appeared to disapprove of) for help with a back up programme that froze. For over an hour, a very pleasant, patient and knowledgeable guy worked remotely on my screen and sorted the problem out. At £30 a year for unlimited support, I would describe this as excellent value for money.Moreexpand_more
