Paul Nuttall Driving Lessons

Really enjoyed my lessons with Paul he was very helpful throughout and always went above and beyond to help me get to pass first time. Lessons were fun and enjoyable and got on really well. I would definitely recommend Paul to anyone wanting to start lessons.

I started lessons with Paul immediately after my 17th Birthday, and it is a decision I will never regret. At the start I was quite a nervous driver, but this didn't last long as Paul helped me relax and gain confidence when at the wheel through his explanations and his great humour. No matter how many times I messed up a manoeuvre, he would always encourage me to do it again to get it right and so I was comfortable with it. Also, Paul was very flexible with the timings of my lessons. This all culminated in me passing my driving test first time with only two minors. This was all thanks to Paul's amazing and informative teaching. I would fully recommend Paul.

Very good and well experienced instructor who has a serious side when needed but is also happy for a laugh. Definitely will recommend to others.

Excellent instructor who is patient and great at explaining. Not afraid to challenge performance when I knew I could've done better which was really helpful in improving and recognising what had gone wrong and why.

Paul is an excellent driving instructor. He tailors his lessons to the learner’s needs and gets them to work on the things they need improving on most. This is a very efficient way of learning as you are working on the driving skills which need to be worked on the most and therefore getting ready for your test as quick as possible. Paul is very talkative which I found helped a lot with the nerves to begin with, but also has a good balance of when not to talk so you can concentrate on your driving. Overall, I would fully recommend getting in contact with Paul as he is very good at what he does and is a nice and sound bloke.

I really enjoyed learning to drive with Paul. His patience and good humour, as well as an extensive knowledge of cars and driving in general, enabled me to become a confident and safe driver. My sister recommended Paul to me and I definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

After driving for 2 years and failing both tests, the last test I failed with 2 serious and 1 dangerous, I left my old instructor and found Paul through a friend. I passed with Paul after a year of driving with only 1 minor. Paul has been absolutely fantastic and I couldn't recommend him enough. His teaching skills are impeccable as well as his humour. One of Paul's greatest qualities is his ability to adapt; no matter how difficult I found to understand a manoeuvre or a concept, Paul would find a way to word it so it made sense to me, and for that I will always be thankful. Not only does Paul ensure you know the test route thoroughly, he takes you off-route to show you many other challenges you may face in driving that will not necessarily be on your test - Paul teaches you how to drive for life, not how to simply pass a test. He was very honest with me, if I made a mistake he would tell me but he would talk me through what should have been done, and we would practice over it again. Even if it took me a while, he would never act disappointed or annoyed, I believe patience and understanding are key to a great teacher, and Paul certainly offers both. By learning with Paul my confidence has skyrocketed and I have grown as a person, if you are looking for the same and want a competent, thorough teacher, Paul is highly recommended.Moreexpand_more

Paul was a great instructor, he explained everything well and was very patient. He made sure to identify which areas needed work and then focused on these aspects to improve them.

Paul is without a doubt the best driving instructor that I have had. Coming from Canada and never having driven manual before I was nervous to drive in the uk, but he was incredibly patient and always attentive. He ensured that any mistakes I made were rectified immediately so that with each lesson I was working on different aspects of my driving and thus always improving. His positive attitude was so encouraging, which made lessons enjoyable and something to look forward to. I can’t thank him enough for giving me the confidence to drive on my own.

I started to learn to drive when I was 17 with a different instructor but was very nervous so I quickly gave it up. I’m now 21 and decided it was time to learn again. Paul quickly helped me increase confidence with my driving and was very patient with all my silly mistakes. He made all the lessons very relaxed and calm and we had a laugh too. Paul was very easy to get along with and made what could have been extremely stressful; fun. By the time I got to my test I was prepared and passed first time with 3 minors. I used to hate driving and now I find it kind of fun. I would 100% recommend Paul to any new drivers looking for an instructor.

Paul is a very good driving instructor, he will clearly point out mistakes you are making and will show you how to improve on them, as well as this the lessons I had were very enjoyable, I definitely recommended him to anyone looking for a top quality instructor.

Paul is a thoroughly great instructor, I really enjoyed every lesson, which came as a bit of a shock as all my friends said they hated theirs, but Paul made driving lessons fun and you’re guaranteed a laugh. Learning to drive with Paul was a great choice and I felt fully ready to take my test, and I was pleased to pass first time - further evidence of Paul’s great teaching.

Paul was an outstanding instructor, he is friendly, well considered and always keen for a good conversation. Learning to drive in your late twenties is a challenge for most and can often be an intimidating and daunting process. Throughout the process Paul was encouraging using a variety of different teaching styles to adapt to my pace of learning. I welcomed Paul's ability to challenge areas which needed progression in an open, honest and friendly way. Each session formed a steady but achievable progression from the last, with a useful score sheet to track your own progress. I would recommend Paul to anyone and moreover to any learner coming into driving at a later date.

I can not recommend learning how to drive with Paul enough. After attempting to learn how to drive with two driving instructors previously, Paul ensured that I learnt how to drive in a way that suited my learning style. Paul would happily tailor the lessons to cover areas of driving that I felt least confident with, and his teaching method made sure I grasped all areas of driving really well. I always felt relaxed during my lesson and managed to actually have a laugh, rather than it feel like a serious and daunting experience. He would always go above and beyond and make sure I had enough learning time. I managed to pass first time with all thanks to Paul and now feel confident on the road. Thanks for all your help Paul!

Paul is a brilliant driving instructor, who takes pride in what he does. He taught me everything I should know about driving and has helped build my confidence when on the road.
