Had a relaxing spa day with my sister Siobhan. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we felt very welcome. We enjoyed time in the sauna and all of our treatments. The day was very well organised by Shirley. Shirley and Sally are very experienced therapists. The garden is so tranquil the home made scone and jazz music was a lovely treat. We will definitely return as this day has done wonders for mind and body feel completely rested and detoxed Thank you.

As lockdown restrictions are relaxing it was a wonderful treat to get back to wonderful treatments with Shirley at the spa. A friend and I had one of the packages and had a lovely day. Treatments with Shirley are of the highest standards……. If you are looking for good value treatments you need look no further. The experience of the treatments followed by a relaxing lunch in the beautiful garden is a great way to switch off from the noise and bustling world. Even just a massage with Shirley is very beneficial, I have been a regular client for many years and know the general health benefits of the treatments. If you are looking for the ultimate treat you need look no further ! .

My mum treated us both to a spa package with Shirley. We had the Express Stress package which included a 30min session in the infrared sauna. The sauna was great-having heard of the amazing health benefits before I had traveled as far as Liverpool to have infrared detox sessions. The infrared sauna at Nu U was by far the best I have used and I really felt like I achieved an intense detoxification. The 5 in 1 treatment was top quality and super relaxing and I especially liked the Warm Wax Hand Soother-perfect as the weather gets colder. The scone and tea were delicious! Shirley is lovely, clearly highly experienced and has an integrity you don't often find these days! The natural products she used on us smelt gorgeous!

I have been coming to Shirley for treatments for many years and during my last visit I tried the Ultimate Relaxation Package. Can't recommend it highly enough! The meditation CD during the sauna sent me into a deep and calm state which allowed me to fully relax during the second part of the treatment which was a fully body massage. Shirley said afterwards she has never heard me so quiet! I was in need of a complete break from it all and this treatment was just the ticket.

Me and my sons have been coming to. Nu u health spa for quite a while to have various treatments including leg massages sauna, and the hot tub all I can say is the treatment you receive is first class and would have no problem in recommending Shirley to anyone. Michael.

Bought cream for cramp as I suffer frequently from cramp in both feet and toes. I mostly use it for prevention and have never had cramp any time I've used it. I once used it as a cure, during the night, when I hadn't applied the cream and got cramp in one foot. It took the cramp away after about five minutes of massage and it didn't return. The cream smells pleasant and also gives an excellent excuse to request a foot rub from your partner!

Booked as a surprise birthday present and I was not dissapointed! I have paid for lots of overpriced mediocre massages in hotel spas before but won't again as this was the best massage I have had! I had a full body massage and it really was top to toe! Fantastic therapists, really friendly. Mum had a back and neck and was nervous as it was her 1st ever massage but wanted to take Shirley home! Fantastic value for money, can't rate it high enough!

Shirley, is warm welcoming and professional. The room is peacful/tranquil and allows me to unwind whilst having a treatment of my choice. Love going whenever I can, Shirley has accommodated me at short notice and her home made products are just beautiful infact my colleagues at work have been using them for some time now. Have loved every minute of my treatments, would have been happy for her to switch the light off and leave me till morning. Pure heaven, thank you Shirley. Jan.

My cousin and I have been visiting this spar for years. I surprised my cousin for her birthday yesterday to a full package with Shirley. We both had an absolutely amazing time there. Shirley is always so friendly and welcoming. We had fruit tea in the hot tub, whilst enjoying the garden. Shirley provided us with towels, robes and flip flops. We then enjoyed ice cold water in the infra red sauna, which played soothing music, follwed by a totally relaxing back neck and shoulders massage on a heated bed. Shirley is very accommodating and always finds the right package to suit you! Definitely worth a visit!I would reccomend to all! I will be booking to take my mum for a Christmas treat in December. I booked myself and a friend for a treat as part of her hen do on the offer for August which included a session in the hot tub, a full body massage and facial each and a light lunch. We both had a great time and felt very relaxed. The treatments were great value for money and the spa is a fantastic alternative and highly recommended to the traditional commercial spas with a wonderful personal touch. We will be back again soon! Tip: buy the one minute miracle hand scrub to take away, it's amazing!

Nu U, I always feel like a Nu Woman when I've been under the care of Shirley and Tom. Had a lovely session in the hot tub and then submitted myself to Shirley's magic hands. All this was followed by a wonderful lunch prepared by Tom not to mention the endless cups of coffee served throughout the morning. Thank you Shirley and Tom for another exceptional visit, can't wait for the next one.

I received the 7th heaven facial, the oriental stones massage and a hot tub. All were exceptional. The oils were made up to suit my needs, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend using Shirley to anyone considering using a spa or trying out somewhere new. Upon arrival, I was offered a drink, I chose tea which was served to me in the hot tub. I thoroughly enjoyed every detail, it truly was amazing and Shirley is such a warm, welcoming considerate person. After my treatments were finished, I was again offered a refreshment. I asked to have a look around the shop. The products Shirley offers are out of this world and literally look good enough to eat (you will know what I mean when you see them). There was no pressure whatsoever to buy but I had to indulge. I found the whole experience very unprofessional, If you fancy sitting in someone's hot tub in their back yard for £15 each then fine, we were left far too long in between treatments and also what I thought was meant to be a relaxing time could hear some very loud music and sounded like someone was scraping plates or eating tea, very off putting when you are paying a lot of money for relaxation, I just found the whole experience WEIRD and will not be returning or recommending. I found somewhere in Shevington extremely proffesional and a lot cheaper.

Very disappointed indeed having spent £110. 00 as a treat, should have gone to Ribby Hall far more professional and you don't get the feeling your in someones home and back yard !

What an absolutely fantastic day. Shirley,Tom and Sally couln't do enough to make sure we were relaxed,pampered and fed and watered well! Worth every penny,and it is what it says on the tin A PAMPER DAY! . These other places that do pamper days you get 2 treatments if you are lucky,then use of gym and pool(why do l want to use those when on a pamper treat)AT NU U its just treatments! Treatments! And relaxing.

My sister and I spent a most relaxing Sunday at the spa, including lunch and afternoon tea. We started with the hot-tub and then had pedicure, facial (which left my skin soft and smooth) and massage. Shirley and Tom were fabulous - Tom's home-made leek and potato soup was delicious - and we're currently planning a return trip for my younger sister's birthday (and for Mothers' Day . And my daughter's birthday . And Easter . ).

I have visited Nu U Health Spa many times and have never been disappointed. I am currently returning quite frequently for help with an on-going condition. Shirley has been most helpful, adapting the massage to meet my own particular needs. She is very knowledgable and hlepful.
