Having a long time didnt practise of my driving and back to it , I thank you so much to my Instructor Ely for being patience and giving all his knowledge and confidence to me and making my learning a very smooth experience.

Dean was a great instructor, passed first time and went out of his way to make sure I was familiar was the test area in Chippenham. Also driving a Mercedes was a notch above everything else out there.

If you have an unpredictable working schedule and need flexibility, and you’re looking for an excellent, respectful, kind, patient and value-for-money driving lesson, I highly recommend giving Ely and ‘No Ls, Bristol’ a chance! Ely (Eleazar) is an exceptional driving instructor who helped me pass my driving test at Avonmouth Test Centre on my first attempt. He’s incredibly patient and supportive throughout our lessons, always encouraging me to take on new challenges like exploring unfamiliar driving test routes. He’s done so remarkably well. Ely is also excellent at giving clear and respectful instructions and feedback, even providing a formal report. I was surprised to receive one, which clearly demonstrates his dedication to his job and students. Furthermore, he’s very flexible with his driving schedule, accommodating my working shifts.

Having been close to taking a test when I was 20, I came back to learning to drive (manual) with Pete 5 years later. Within a year, Pete rebuilt my confidence and I was able to pass 1st time at the notoriously tricky test centre in Kingswood having known friends of mine to have failed there on multiple occasions. Not only is Pete a safe and calm instructor, he develops the same characteristics in your driving attitude by encouraging you in your strengths and supporting improvement in your weaker areas with a holistic approach that balances both the theoretical and practical aspects of learning to drive. I am glad I decided to delay learning to drive, since Pete has made me a far better driver for it and with Pete’s expertise the roads of Bristol are far safer. It has been a pleasure learning to drive with Pete … even though he’s a united fan ;).

Outstanding Instructor, like many have said. Highly qualified and has a lot of experience. He knows what he’s doing, and can tailor each lesson for exactly what you need to improve on. Very calm throughout my lessons. Nearly crashed his car icl but I’ve never seen him mad or get a bit emotional (on the surface at least). Never passed a single mock test but I passed with 5 minors (tbf I was extremely lucky) but Pete believed I could do it. 10/10 would recommend .

Pete was recommended to me by my Brother, who also passed under Pete's tuition. I passed with Pete 1st time with zero faults. My driving journey has been a very long road for me as I have had multiple set backs for various reasons. I had three previous instructor's prior to Pete with the AA and RED driving schools. I wasn't particularly impressed with my previous instructors as they weren't a great fit for me. I have a disability the impacts my processing speed, reaction times and ability to multi-task. I shared this with Pete and he took this onboard throught my entire journey with him, in fact I started out with a manual car and half way through a lesson Pete swapped me to Automatic. A wise decision and one I will always be grateful for. Pete is an outstanding instructor and knows what he is doing. He is patient, calm and very good at analyzing mistakes and why they occurred and therefore tailoring each lesson individually. Pete even went the extra mile with me and took me to find my first car, sitting in the shop with me as I went through the paperwork and even assisting with the test drive. I’ve been learning to drive for two years, and after starting with another instructor who wasn’t the right fit, I moved over to Pete - and it was the best decision I could’ve made. From the moment I began lessons with him, everything changed for the better. Pete is incredibly calm, patient, and reassuring, which was essential for me, especially after failing my first test due to nerves and a lot of anxiety. He immediately made me feel more confident behind the wheel. He’s reliable, kind, and genuinely dedicated to helping his students succeed. Pete has been an amazing instructor. I was a difficult student who needed a lot of extra help with my lessons after failing my first test with my previous instructor. When we first met I had a lot of bad habits and really couldn't drive at all but with a lot of hard work we got through it eventually and I passed my first test under Pete's guidance. He has been great company, and extremely flexible, even helping to accommodate for changes in my schedule when possible. Thanks Pete!

Having not driven for 6 years I needed some refresher lessons. Matthew was really patient and thorough, informative and great at building my confidence back up. I thoroughly recommend his lessons. Cheers.

After struggling for quite some time with driving, I was lucky to get a space with Dean. My driving improved dramatically thanks to Dean's fantastic teaching. Extremely grateful for all his help. If anyone is in any doubt, go with Dean and you won't regret it.

I was someone who would scour reviews for ages, really overthinking about which instructor to go with. If that is you, then trust me - go with Dean. I had Dean as my instructor. I am so grateful for his patience, professionalism and teaching. He built my confidence at the correct pace for me. He explained things so thoroughly and answered every single silly question I had without judgement. He also kept me relaxed and made it enjoyable. He was the best. I passed first time with only two minors and just finished my Pass Plus with him today. Thank you again Dean.

I started with Pete after previously being with another instructor, and immediately he identified that I wasn’t being taught properly. Pete was so thorough went through all the basics from the very beginning and taught me skills I will never forget. He managed to identify any errors in my driving and helped me to work through them and practice until I got it right. Pete was always very kind and gentle with me as I suffer from quite severe anxiety but I always felt safe and supported. He is an excellent teacher!

I had 6 lessons to improve my driving ahead of the test and Pete immediately identified the reasons why I was struggling with my driving and we worked on those. I passed 1st time no minors! Thank you so much Pete!

One take pass with one minor fault only! I made that one minor fault because I misunderstood examiner’s instruction, parked in a wrong place. Auto car. Spent 50 hours with Pete. I couldn’t get a test date for Kingswood, so we spent a few times driving to Avonmouth to practice. Round trip time is 1 hour. If I could get Kingswood, probably I just needed 40 something hours. I tried 2 hours with MrCarrs (bad attitude, not professional and stall the time) before having lessons with Pete. Pete teaches with heart and passion. I had my lessons with Pete and what can I say except he’s the best instructor I’ve had. Super analytical and understanding, you pay for what you get and in this case it was the best lessons I could have got. I passed first time with 5 minors.

Massive thank you to Pete the most amazing patient and understanding driving instructor you will find, I had a 1st time pass I went from 0 experience on the road to a pass in 8months I’m so happy I can’t thank you enough for all your support kind words advice and guidance not just in driving but in life also. Pete has the most amazing ability's to read and understand how you feel and works with that to help you understand what you need to do to do feel safe and confident in your drive he has many different words of advice and different ways of showing you how to understand on his little tablet. Over my time driving Pete has become like a more of friend than an instructor I’m definitely going to miss my lessons with him I couldn’t recommend him enough he’s just the best what a amazing guy thank you again Pete.

Had about 44 hours of lessons with Pete and was able to pass my test first time with 5 minors. I had a bad instructor before but Pete really worked with me, took the time to understand my learning style and retrain me so I could feel confident in myself. If you're an anxious driver he'll put you at ease. The tips he gave are so useful I continue to use them when I drive. Admittedly he said I wasn't quite ready for the test yet so I had to use my own car, however he talked me through the test the day before, gave me tips on the layout of the test centre itself so I didn't make a silly mistake in the car park, tricks that would help me personally with my anxiety etc. He even messaged me after the test to ask how I got on. He's an absolute gem of an instructor, couldn't recommend him any more highly!

Passed first time with Dean! Brilliant driving instructor and a lovely guy. Adapted lessons to my style of learning, was flexible with lesson times, and made learning to drive really fun. Have already recommended him to numerous friends. Thanks so much Dean :).
