MobelOak (formerly Home Furniture Land) is a market leading on line furniture internet retailer offering the latest designs and ranges for every room in the home.

The company imports direct from the manufacturer and sells straight to the public throughout the UK directly - passing on the savings. Set up in 2005, MobelOak has developed solid relationships with its suppliers ensuring that quality and price is always at the forefront.

MobelOak has an expanding customer base situated across the UK.

All items are photographed from as many angles and positions as possible to try and best show the outstanding quality of the product.

All MobelOak branded products are made from 100% solid oak with out the use of veneers at all. Each piece is hand made by time served craftsmen using traditional techniques, all draws have dove tail joints and draw backs and bases are solid oak.

I ordered a vanity unit for the bathroom Ordering and arranging delivery was straight forward and delivery arrived when stated. However we received a shoe cupboard instead of the vanity unit ordered. We rang often - our call was never answered. We emailed - our email always bounced back We lodged a complaint with PayPal and in response MobelOak rang my mobile 3 times in the same afternoon (when I was in a meeting and unable to answer) A voicemail was left saying an email will be sent to me - this email has not yet arrived. We are at a loss as what to do! We have a cupboard we did not order. Someone else must have our order. Please MobelOak can you get in touch?

Ordered a small cabinet expecting next day delivery. Order placed 23 Jul and as yet (5 Aug) no confirmation of any delivery. Tried to contact Mobel Oak via email and phone but have not been able to discuss the specific order details, only a generic auto-generated email so far. Fortunately paid via PayPal and had to raise a dispute, still awaiting any form of communication from Mobel Oak. I would never use this company again and seriously regret placing the order, now just waiting to recover the funds. **** UPDATE ****Finally managed to obtain a refund from PayPal after raising a dispute, still no contact from the company! This has been a terrible transaction from a company I can only describe as a bunch of oxygen thief's. Please do not use this company, go somewhere else.

Ordering process was easy, but had a few issues with delivery as it was not delivered on the day it was due. I want to return the item and I am within the 14 days permitted. I have tried phoning but the automated response said to email which I have done twice but have had no response.

Ordered a vanity sink 7 days ago, money was taken straight away but heard nothing since then. I have sent 2 emails and tried the phone number every day and left a message but no one has got back to me, not the service I expected, hoping it's just a blip and they will get in touch soon either with a delivery date or a refund! I have rate it for value but can't properly rate for quality as have no idea!

Scam. They take money and do not order. Premium rate phone number to try and scam you some more. Now I have to do a charge back to get money from bank. Scammers.

I wish I'd read the reviews before I ordered. Ordered on a Wednesday with next day delivery expecting to have it by Friday, Plumber booked for Saturday, had to turn him away. Cant get these monkeys to answer the phone and no response to my email. Looks like a scam. Currently have my bank recovering the money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Be very aware of this company. I placed an order for an Oak Sink unit on 28th March. We are now on 9th April and if you ring there is a recorded message and no one is answering my numerous E Mails sent… Terrible customer service! I am now going to have to contact my bank to go through a refund process.

I placed an order on 4th February, and the payment was taken from my credit card on that day. I have had no information on when to expect delivery, no response to emails and the customer service line is answered by a recorded message that calls cannot be taken, and that emails will be answered "in due course". What is going on?

Bad customer services. No reply after several emails wanting to return my purchase. Cannot get through on the phone as saying send us an email! Still waiting for a response so not happy dealing with this company at all.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Bought a vanity unit and was initially impressed by apparent quality. In less than 12 months I have had a ruptured flexi hose which led to a flooded bathroom, which apparently is not the fault of mobel oak as they are a retailer not manufacturer. The water damage to the vanity unit is also not their fault. Finally just realised that the tap leaks from the joints continuously, which again is not their fault as the tap is not designed for modern day houses with pressurised systems ie combi boilers. Customer service is limited to effectively be “it’s not our problem”. Save yourself hassle and buy from a better company!

Considering the society we find ourselves in at the moment, I cannot fault this company from start to finish, purchased Mobil oak cd/DVD cabinet, kept well updated with progress of order and delivery. Delivered safely by a polite and helpful gent called Colin, item was well packed, and its a lovely solid bit of oak, perfect thank you.

My review is based on customer service only. Please also see my November 2020 review. Comms by email has been good and I have been kept updated about delivery of product I ordered. Unfortunately delivery has been delayed, not surprising given what is going on in the world with Covid-19 and Brexit, shipment to the UK has been delayed by an expected further 8 weeks or so. But they have done the right thing and offered a full refund, which was made within 24 hours of requesting this. Thanks Marek!

Great Service. Having had contact with the company by phone initially to check stock for 2 bathroom cabinets I was advised that 1 of them was on back order and they were unsure when delivery would happen. I looked and chose an alternative product after being directed to the Mobeloak website rather than the click oak site. The mobel website was much more comprehensive for information on the Types of sinks available. Order was placed for 2 items, I received a phone call the following day to advise me the dispatch date and items turned up on time as scheduled. Quality was good and I cant fault the communication from Customer Service. One thing I would say is that to help potential new customers understand your opening times it may be an idea to put something on the website of the current Covid manned hours for telephone etc. .

I have not ordered my product yet but I can not fault the pre sales service. Value and Quality ratings at midpoint purely because I have not ordered my product yet. The most recent reviews seem a bit harsh to me. I sent an email this morning and got a response just over an hour later. Based on some of the earlier reviews maybe because it is a Monday and the office appears to only be working on Mondays and Thursdays during these strange and difficult times. Look at the reviews pre Covid - they seem much better.

Be very careful when ordering from this company I ordered a slim vanity unit on Wednesday morning and paid a top premium to be delivered next day, I then recieved an email on Thursday to say it had been shipped? When I called I was told they only ship on Monday and Thursday? It doesnt say this when they charge you for next day. When the delivery turned up on Friday it was the totally wrong item? I have a fitter here waiting to fit this. When I call their number nobody answers. Very poor service.

I know this is frustrating, but from time to time human error can creep in. That being said, the warehouse team are generally very reliable even when they are under time pressure to get the volume of orders quality checked and despatched on time for our customers. But in order to get this issue resolved for you, please let us know which item you have received. This is about a review I posted in Oct. I managed to contact the company who explained the situation owing to supplier issues. They were very helpful refunded my money immediately. I should have posted this earlier but forgot my apologies to Marek and the team Well what can I say. Shocking customer Service actually Customer service non existant I wish i'd read the reviews on here. I ordered a slim vanity unit with basin delivery date was 20 Oct 2020. They now state on their website delivery 30th Nov. I have tried to call the phone number every day 2-3 times no one answers. I have sent emails which go unanswered. I cannot comment on quality as yet although I have no particular concerns about the product! . We purchased a bedside chest of drawers 8 days ago and received a confirmation number. They advised delivery between 3-5 working days. That was 9 working days ago and there has been no contact from the company. The number is not recognised by the delivery firm. It has been impossible to reach them as phone calls go unanswered as do emails. It is proving to a labyrinth that is almost impossible to resolve.

I placed an order 9 days ago for delivery 3-5 business days and am still waiting. I have tried for 3 days to get them over 3 different numbers and 2 different websites and no one answers the phone or emails. The delivery company doesn’t recognise their reference number and I am in the process of calling the bank and recalling my money as I think that this is a scam company. Hopefully I will get it back. Don’t use this company. If I could score it minus figures I would!

I have left 1 star for this company but they deserve a 0 rating. We ordered a vanity bathroom unit at over a cost of £800 and have received a living room cabinet instead which costs around £300. We have telephoned 28 times yesterday and again today. Emails have been ignored. This has delayed us and we are now having to pay extra costs due to the appalling service from Mobel Oak. Do not use this company.
Response : Hi Charlotte, thank you for your review. We did reply to your emails on Friday, but then later received an "undelivered" message from our servers. So it may be that you've reached your storage limit with your email account? In any event, the missing sinks and taps have been dispatched today via 24hr courier. The unit you have purchased is indeed sold as both a sideboard and vanity unit. The difference in price is to cover the x2 ceramic sinks, x2 chrome mixer taps, x2 chrome pop-up plugs, x2 braided connectors and matching solid oak mirror added to the purchase. Most of our vanity units are supplied with either an adapted top drawer or cupboard to accommodate the waste. Those that require some adaption are however clearly described as such in the product description. That being said, if you decide you no longer want the vanity unit, we would be happy to accept it back for a refund?Moreexpand_more
