Wow, what fabulous service and lovely people! We had been ripped off by another firm when our electricity kept cutting out, had paid £360 for very little work and still not fixed! In fact we were told we needed to buy a new fridge! We are elderly, my husband is 87 and has poor eyesight and I am profoundly deaf, so he paid up and we were going to look for a new fridge. Then I googled reviews and suggested trying MK. Markus and Muz ( hope I’ve got that right) came and spent time analysing the situation, then the next day Muz came and spent 7 hours here checking every single socket, he identified the one that had caused the problem ( near a damp wall), he also said we needed a new RCD box which Markus dropped off and he installed, he was so friendly, kind, helpful, even went the extra mile changing some light bulbs. The fridge is fine! What a lovely guy. I was dreading the bill, but it was incredibly reasonable for the length of time he had spent working here. I’d give 10 stars if I could! Gay and Tim Mason.

Called Marcus on Saturday and although he wasn't able to attend straight away he talked me through a checking process. That didn't solve the issue so he came the next day and sorted the problem. Marcus was punctual, polite, helpful and very reasonably priced. I would happily recommend him to anyone with an electrical problem.

Had several small but fiddly electric jobs to do, Marcus came out at the time he said he would to quote, fixed one job while he was weighing up the job, came back when he said he would, completed all the work, gave us great free advice on other works. He was really professional, cleaned up after him self and was real value for money. Would definitely recommend him.

I needed a number of sockets and switches replacing around the house, as well as a new external light fitting. Marcus completed all the jobs in a few hours and everything was done exactly as I wanted. He's very neat and tidy, and everything is done with a minimum of fuss and maximum efficiency. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Excellent Service and workmanship. A new fan and light were fitted to the bathroom and a new central light fitted in my main reception room. The work was carried out promptly and in a manner not to cause the need for re-decoration. I was so pleased that I asked for a fluorescent light to be installed in my kitchen - this work was carried out the next day. I would certainly use this firm again and recommend to others. We wanted an outside power supply to run 2 water features. Sent email on the Saturday, heard back straight away, came to look at the job on Wednesday and did it on Friday for a very reasonable price. Also gave some useful advice on other things in the house. Lovely man and will certainly contact him in the future.

Called Marcus to fit a new consumer unit and replace an external security light. He came quickly, as promised, to view the work, and give advice. Firstly, I must say that I contacted Marcus, having seen positive reviews on this site, and all the positive reviews are totally accurate. He discussed the consumer unit and advised that, on balance, I didn't need to replace it, although he could have secured a £400+ job, which I feel proved his honest and genuine approach. He also advised me to replace my external security light with an LED light and not the existing halogen type. I have 3 other external security lights and such was his competitive quote that I decided to replace those as well with LED. Marcus arranged to do the job within a few days and secured all the parts. He duly arrived on time, completing the work, and tidying up afterwards. He also gave advice on other energy saving options which I could do myself. He is not only a consummate professional but a thoroughly decent person as well. Marcus quickly arranged to come round and give a quote. He offered advice to us, discussing alternatives with full explanations. The work was booked in and Marcus has done a great job. I would recommend him to friends and family without hestitation.

First time using Marcus, as a landlord I was impressed that he contacted the tenant for access and replaced the shower, then e-mailed the invoice as I requested. Tenants comment was. Great electrician, highly recommend him. Will use MK Electrics again.
