Highly recommended. I first started treatment in 2022 when I struggled with infertility for 3+ years. I got pregnant within a few months and maintained a healthy pregnancy with the support of Aliya's acupuncture. After my son was born I didn't have treatment for a while, but came back in November 2024 after a traumatic birth and experiencing two miscarriages. Aliya focussed on nourishing my whole energy system as I wasn't really physically, emotionally or mentally ready for another baby yet. Over the next few months, I had bi-weekly treatments to build up my body for another succesful pregnancy. By May I found out I was pregnant, and I saw Aliya weekly til week 12, then every 2 weeks until delivery - Aliya chose points to keep my pregnancy strong and rooted.  And now I have a 5 day old daughter in my arms and my family is complete. I don't think this would have been possible without Aliya's support and treatment. I would recommend to anyone with fertility issues - not only has it helped my body get and stay pregnant, but my mental health has stayed strong too. Aliya has a calming effect as soon as you meet her, her positivity and advice helps you keep your head leveled at a stressful time, and she is generally just a wonderful person, and experienced, knowlegdable acupuncturist. I first visited Aliya a few years ago for a running injury in my calf. I'd tried rest, physio and sports massages but nothing was clearing it, until a friend recommended Aliya. I'd never had acupuncture before and was cynical as to it's effective but after that first treatment, as I stepped off the treatment table my calf felt immediately better and I was able to resume running, then building up to a PB from there! I have also visited Aliya on and off for general maintenance and stress relief, including for relief from my period pain which I thought was something I just had to live with. In short, whatever it is that has led you to seek out acupuncture I wholly recommend Aliya!

I’ve been to Aliya for acupuncture since October 2024 and for a variety of different topics. These have included anxiety, sleep troubles and then in helping to regulate my menstrual cycles as part of trying to balance my hormones and get pregnant. Aliya’s sessions have been brilliant - helping to minimise symptoms, regulate my cycle and help me to get my anxiety under control. In between sessions, Aliya has always been super supportive and is a lovely calming voice of advice and reason! Throughout my pregnancy, I have particularly enjoyed attending acupuncture to help strengthen/root my pregnancy. I look forward to continuing my acupuncture journey with regular top ups once baby is here! I would recommend everyone to attend acupuncture with Aliya.

I first went to see Aliya at the beginning of September 2024 following a miscarriage. She had been recommended by a friend who too, had been in a similar situation and had since become pregnant. Me being me, I was super sceptical and thought at the very least I’m trying something new and if nothing comes of it, then it’s not the end of the World. Lo and behold, those appointments soon became my moment of calm each week and I started to see a change in my monthly cycle and positive changes in my time of the months. Not only that, after a few weeks of treatment I was pregnant and I welcomed my little girl in September 2025. Ali kept me calm in those crucial first few weeks of pregnancy and helped to keep the pregnancy strong and rooted. I’ve since been back post pregnancy to help with the healing process. Consider me converted. I highly recommend Aliya and she’s such a lovely person.

I have been seeing Aliya since June 2024 after a family member recommended me to her. I’ve not been disappointed. Aliya is a true professional, her knowledge and experience shines through. She puts you at your ease. You never feel rushed and I feel heard. Aliya is so empathetic. I have found my chronic pain is much better managed and my fatigue is reduced. I first met Aliya in January 2024, after she was recommended by a family member. I initially sought her help to regulate my period, as my cycles were over 34 days, and to ease scar tissue that had formed from a previous surgery. Not only did Aliya help shorten my cycle, she also helped relieve my PMS symptoms, such as breast pain, back pain, skin breakouts, and overall exhaustion. She also supported me in achieving my goal of reaching a calmer state of mind in preparation for pregnancy. She helped me understand my hormones and suggested that I might benefit from taking thyroxine to help balance them. After visiting my doctor, it turned out she was right - my TSH levels were imbalanced, and I was prescribed thyroxine immediately. Although my weekly sessions had to pause when I moved abroad, life had a beautiful surprise in store - I returned home pregnant! As I approached the end of my pregnancy, Aliya gave me an induction treatment, and incredibly, my waters broke that very night. Went to see Aaliyah with complaints of eczema, dry skin, loss of eyebrows and eyelashes, joint and back pain, poor sleep and unexplqined fertility issues. After only a few sessions I started to notice a difference, mainly in terms of feeling a lot calmer and less stressed. Back/neck pain started to ease after a few more sessions and eventually achieved a successful pregnancy with my wife. Aaliyah is very calm, attentive and understanding cabling her to adapt to my individual needs. Would recommend! .

After struggling to conceive for several years, we decided to go down the ivf route. My husband found Aliya online and suggested I try acupuncture alongside the ivf treatment. I found great comfort in my weekly sessions to prepare my body on the build up and felt they were effective but also, Aliya made sure to book a post transfer treatment in within 24 hours which I think was very grateful for. I believe the acupuncture treatment played an important part in the whole process and the successful pregnancy that followed! We had read a lot about fertility acupuncture during our IVF journey and Aliyah was recommended by a friend. At first I must admit I was sceptical but Aliyah was so warm, welcoming, empathetic, professional and clearly very experienced that I decided to give it a go during my IVF treatment. Aliyah made me feel so relaxed each time I went, she explained everything so well and gave me validation and confidence in what was a really challenging time. I attended a session every week during my hormone treatment and then a session on the day after my first embryo transfer. We were not successful that time. However, on our second try, I had an acupuncture session on the same day as the embryo transfer. This time we were successful and we have just had a beautiful baby girl. I really believe that having acupuncture helped us to have our first baby after trying for so long. My first session at Meridian Acupuncture was back in January 2024. After TTC for 3 months at this point, my main concern was possibly low progesterone due to spotting days/ weeks before my period would start. My spotting definitely eased over the next few months and my day 21 progesterone levels were sky high (64nmol/L) in July of 2024. I truly believe the regular acupuncture sessions helped restore balance in my body, contributing to the conception of our longed for baby in November 2024. I also attended a session during the first trimester to help maintain the pregnancy - I am now 25 weeks and going strong. Thank you Aliya for all your help!

After suffering three miscarriages in just over a year and then struggling to get pregnant for a further year, I was looking for alternative treatment options to try to improve my fertility and give me the best possible chance of getting and staying pregnant. At the time, we were also exploring IVF. I found Aliya following an internet search. She had just the experience in fertility acupuncture that I was looking for and I really liked that she came from a scientific background. I first met Aliya in April 2024 and whilst I have to admit I was a little sceptical as to whether acupuncture would be for me, she was so knowledgeable and reassuring. We worked together to regulate and lengthen my cycle and after just a few months of regular sessions, I was delighted to be able to tell Aliya in August 2024 that I was five weeks pregnant. The first trimester was an anxious and scary time for me given my previous losses and she supported me through this period with weekly sessions, following a safe and gentle protocol for keeping my pregnancy strong and rooted. I have continued my acupuncture throughout my pregnancy to help me stay strong and cope with the additional stress of moving house! Aliya has been amazing and has supported me throughout and I hope to shortly be able to provide her with a baby picture to add to her impressive wall full of pictures of ladies she has helped. I’ve been seeing Aliya since December 2023. Initially, I started seeing her for a stiff and painful back, which vastly improved. However, six months later I found myself going through one of the most stressful periods of my life. The only time I felt fully relaxed and switched off was during my treatment with Aliya. During one appointment I mentioned that my left eye was flickering and by the end of my treatment, it had stopped. Aliya is full of wisdom and has such a gentle nature that she always puts me at ease. My sessions with Aliya were one of the only things I looked forward too during this period. I went to Aliya after three years of secondary infertility and my ongoing agonising menstrual menorrhagia after my first birth five years ago. Aliya came highly recommended by a family member. Aliya is very passionate about her work and incredibly knowledgeable – she also genuinely cares about you. These are qualities that are very hard to find. I went in with an open mind as at this point I had tried everything and had given up hope on been able to fall pregnant naturally again. I thought to myself if this acupuncture can even help me relax more and sleep better and get rid of some of my past fertility trauma! I will be happy with that! . Following my first treatment with Aliya I was floored" I had to nap in the day which I never do and my mind was quiet and calm. Ali checked in on me that same day and she explained to me that Acupuncture often makes your body rest, so all the healing work, cell repair and regeneration can take place, I also had no ovulation pain on my next cycle and I was sleeping so much better, my mind and body felt at rest, finally! After three years I felt calm. I had three session with Aliya and when I went back for my third session to my complete surprise I was already four weeks pregnant! I couldn’t believe it. I continued to see Aliya and she did gentle points to keep my pregnancy strong (I am now 9 days away from due my date). Aliya to me is the definition of an earth angel, she has helped us in ways that cannot be truly put into words. Aliya has supported me immensely through my fertility journey. When I met her, I had convinced myself that I would never be able to conceive. She patiently worked with me to get my body ready for IVF and has then been with me every step of the way, prioritising my needs to fit with my IVF schedule, which has resulted in a straightforward pregnancy. She’s deeply knowledgeable, calming and produces results I never thought I would see. I can highly recommend!

My wife (Kerry) booked in with Ali to support our fertility journey following a few miscarriages. After several sessions we found out we were pregnant, and Kerry continued to go to regular sessions following Ali's advice in order to keep the pregnancy strong. It worked! We are now 36 weeks pregnant and definitely know that the regular acupuncture sessions have supported our journey. During the pregnancy sessions, Ali supported Kerry with several pregnancy symptoms such as restless legs, insomnia and headaches. Aliya was recommended to me in December 2023, after chatting to a friend about my fertility journey. I was three years in, and had just failed a round of IVF. I had heard accupuncture being used to support fertility previously, but didn't know too much about it. I reached out to Aliya for an initial consultation and session - I had no expectations having still not done much research into how it worked, I just went with an open mind. Aliya made me feel very comfortable and spent a lot of time discussing details of my fertility journey. She made some recommendations on things that would help outside of the accupuncture too. After my first session, something unexpected occured - I had been cured of my night terrors, which I've suffered with my whole life! That alone told me somehow, accupuncture works. I continued to visit Aliya for regular sessions and when my second round of IVF occured in March 2024, I fell pregnant! I have continued to see Aliya throughout my pregnancy, receiving treatment to keep the pregnancy strong and rooted. The sessions make me feel calm and confident in preparation for motherhood. I experienced periods of sickness throughout my first trimester, and with just one treatment have not been sick since! I am now working with Aliya in preparation for my upcoming birth, and will continue to visit post birth to support with hormone regulation. I still don't really know how it works, all I know is that it does work and I am now a true accupuncture advocate thanks to Aliya.
