Aliya was recommended to me in December 2023, after chatting to a friend about my fertility journey. I was three years in, and had just failed a round of IVF. I had heard accupuncture being used to support fertility previously, but didn't know too much about it. I reached out to Aliya for an initial consultation and session - I had no expectations having still not done much research into how it worked, I just went with an open mind. Aliya made me feel very comfortable and spent a lot of time discussing details of my fertility journey. She made some recommendations on things that would help outside of the accupuncture too. After my first session, something unexpected occured - I had been cured of my night terrors, which I've suffered with my whole life! That alone told me somehow, accupuncture works. I continued to visit Aliya for regular sessions and when my second round of IVF occured in March 2024, I fell pregnant! I have continued to see Aliya throughout my pregnancy, receiving treatment to keep the pregnancy strong and rooted. The sessions make me feel calm and confident in preparation for motherhood. I experienced periods of sickness throughout my first trimester, and with just one treatment have not been sick since! I am now working with Aliya in preparation for my upcoming birth, and will continue to visit post birth to support with hormone regulation. I still don't really know how it works, all I know is that it does work and I am now a true accupuncture advocate thanks to Aliya. I was recommended by my friend to go to acupuncture sessions with Aliyah . She is so deeply knowledgeable about acupuncture techniques and she has a thorough understanding of how acupuncture can address a wide range of physical and emotional concerns, and she was always attentive to my individual needs. Whether it’s for fertility, pain relief, stress reduction etc, she takes the time to explain each treatment and tailors each session to my specific goals. I highly recommend Ali, I first went to Ali after being very sceptical about acupuncture for fertility issues, just after 3 months of treatments, Ali aligned my hormone levels, stopped my period back ache every month and I conceived once she said it was ok to try, she also had lots of tips on how to do this too, we had previously had two miscarriages and it took another year to get pregnant, I wish I had gone to her sooner. She’s been keeping my hormones level throughout the pregnancy and I’m due any day. I’m so happy and it’s all down to Ali. So please don’t hesitate to get in touch she works miracles.

I came to Aliya with chronic nerve pain in my face, and from the very first session, I noticed a significant improvement. My pain levels have drastically reduced, and now even on bad days, it’s only a mild discomfort. The good days, however, are completely pain-free! Aliya helped prep my body for fertility treatment and has since helped me to successfully have 2 ivf embryo transfers which have brought me two daughters on 2021 and 2024! I have found the acupuncture treatment that Ali has provided literally life changing for me. After two and a half years of suffering from aggressive Long-Covid Syndrome I decided to stop taking the eight sets of prescribed tablets and to take to the 'pins' for the first time. I booked an induction acupuncture appointment with Aliya three weeks ago, hoping to avoid a medical induction scheduled for a few days later. I intended to write a review that evening about how professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming Aliya was. However, just a few hours after the acupuncture session, I went into spontaneous labor and delivered my baby girl naturally, without any complications. I will be recommending to all x.

Wonderful experience, my partner and I have been treated by Aliya and we have both benefited greatly from the sessions. I have an autoimmune disorder that results in large areas of inflammation. Aliya has managed to reduce the inflammation and give my nervous system a reset, I always feel so relaxed after each session. Highly recommend.

After dealing with fertility issues for a year I decided to try acupuncture with Aliya. I had several sessions with Aliya. The overall experience was very calming and relaxing. She was incredibly informative and my body and where it needed to develop. After a year of negative tests, after a few sessions I finally got pregnant. Although this ended in miscarriage I do believe my body wouldn’t have been capable of getting pregnant without the help of accupunture. I now have a beautiful 2 week old baby boy, and I do believe Aliyas work played a part in getting me here.

I cannot praise Aliya’s work enough. Since my first meeting with her in January, recommended by a friend, my experience has been transformative. Initially, I sought relief from constant tiredness, stress-related symptoms like headaches and sleeplessness, and severe PMS. Remarkably, after my first treatment, I slept from 9 PM to 6 AM without interruption, which was a huge relief. Aliya’s acupuncture is amazing - Instant breathing improvement in just one session! My son has been a mouth breather most of his life till age 15. He snored a lot and it affected his sleep, moods and energy levels. He struggled to wake in the morning. Eating with his mouth open wasn't helping his social life either! He began developing dizzy spells. We took him to see Aliya. In just one session following a detailed consultation and needles, his nostrils cleared. Now he eats with mouth closed and isn't dizzy. I was dealing with my menopause with HRT tablets and for 5 years this was working well. In 2023 it suddenly and completely stopped working. I was in a constant hot flush state and was unable to control my mood which became mainly anger and resentment. I also had various aches pains, fatigue and brain fog which made working very challenging. I contacted my doctors with the fear that they may not be able to give me the medication I would need to recover my former balanced state and the appointment was not immediate. I couldn’t function properly, so I needed some help urgently. In the past I have had Acupuncture for ME and it helped restore my energy and sense of wellbeing so I had a look online for a local practitioner and after reading the reviews I booked to see Aliya. This decision was based on an emphasis on Womens problems and the many positive results seen by her clients. On my first visit I was hot, desperate and my list of what needed fixing was long and varied. Aliya was able to determine the course of action that would clear the heat, lessen brain fog, reduce irritability, give me more energy. This is exactly the outcome I got straight after the first session. I have had several session working on flushes which with my new HRT regimen has reduced to one a day and allowed me to "get my life back". I have also been working through the physical and mental issues that accompany menopause and they do change and disappear as they are treated. Aliya is an exceptional acupuncturist, taking a wholistic approach and using diagnostic tools each visit to assess mental and physiological states. She is calm, highly professional yet thoroughly warm and personally engaging. I first visited her in 2022 and had a few sessions for blocked eustachian tube and ear pains. Last autumn when I was experiencing distressing mental and related physical illnesses I went to her for regular weekly appointments. Her sessions relaxed me enormously and I found relief from some physical symptoms and eventually started to get more relaxed mentally. Aliya has also been kind in pointing to areas of self help. I would highly recommend her.

I first met Aliya in May 23, following a recommendation from a holistic therapist I visited for lymphatic drainage. My health wishes at the time were focussed initially on symptom relief for severe endometriosis and adenomyosis, with a view of preparing me for yet another gruelling round of IVF. Aliya was clear on ensuring she understood my end goal which was to have a baby. I had been trying to conceive for ten years + at this point, I had undertaken five cycles of IVF, seven transfers and experienced two miscarriages. I was prepared to try anything. I was in pain constantly and my life was on holding whilst jumping from one cycle of IVF to another. I told Aliya I’d lick white dog poo if I had too but would try Acupuncture first. After just one Acupuncture treatment I started to feel the benefits. I got the feeling back in my right-hand side, my back ache had eased, and I experienced less niggles in my abdomen. After four Acupuncture treatments, I noticed that my period was different than before – the blood loss was bright red with a more regular flow (it used to be stop start and lots of brown blood). The pain and PMT were still there but less intense. With this new information Aliya applied stronger points to regulate my periods. I was usually bed-bound with the pain for a couple of days per month, but on my next period I wasn’t. Life continued as normal and I could focus on work and exercising, as the pain was less, and I no longer had large clot loss. I started the process to find a new IVF clinic, I felt ready for a change as my previous clinic were beginning to recycle previous attempted treatments strategies – which made my partner and I lose confidence in their ability to help us. We decided on a clinic in London and began the onboarding process. I continued my visits to Aliya as part of the preparation. The treatment protocol was less intense now to prepare for IVF and a potential resulting pregnancy. The new clinic’s onboarding process consisted of refreshed blood results and a monitoring cycle to tailor a revised treatment for me based on the new blood results, but also included the learned information from our failed cycles. The monitoring cycle measured from the first day of my period until the next, having regular blood tests to measure my hormone levels throughout. For the first time ever, my period was late. I assumed it was due to the carryover of the drugs from my prior IVF treatment, which had included inducing the menopause and testosterone supplements. I rang my old clinic asking for advice and was casually dismissed to wait it out for a couple of weeks. If nothing happened, then call back. Nothing happened, I rang back and waited for the doctor to ring me back. In the meantime, the nurse asked me to take a pregnancy test to rule it out…. Frustrated, I bought a cheap and nasty test, did it and threw it on the kitchen side and went about my day waiting for the doctor to call. I went to put the test in the bin later that afternoon, when I gazed at the result screen to confirm my usual disappointment I nearly died of shock. I rushed to buy more reliable tests and reperformed them. They were all positive. After ten + years and all that IVF, heartache, and expense I was pregnant naturally. The only thing I had done differently was Acupuncture. The London clinic supported me up to 12 weeks before handing me over to the NHS. I had a couple of scares in the early days, but continued Acupuncture with Aliya where she focussed on safe and gentle points from an approved protocol for keeping pregnancies strong and rooted. I’m 33 weeks now. Expecting a little boy at the beginning of April. I have continued Acupuncture with Aliya, although less frequent than at the beginning of my pregnancy. I very much look forward to my treatments, they are so relaxing and time out for me. I’m so grateful to Aliya for her help and support throughout my pregnancy so far, I’m even looking forward to how she can help with a potential baby no2, a scenario I never dreamt possible. I came to Aliya in August'23 with very irregular periods caused by PCOS. I was trying to get pregnant for some time, and wanted to try natural methods before taking any medication to deal with PCOS. Within two months I was pregnant. I've been going to Aliya since. The sessions help me to relax, and ease any pregnancy related discomforts.
