About Mental Health Speaker UK

Julie Anne has been delivering talks and CPD accredited workshops on trauma related dissociation since 2017. More recently, a further workshop on diversity has been accredited and she has delivered this online since 2021. She is also an SFTR registered nutritional and lifestyle therapist with a particular interest in mental health. Based in North East Wales, Julie Anne is ideally located for access to the M56, M6 and M62 motorways and flexible to arrange in-house events for teams at their premises, events open to multiple organisations or to deliver online events to suit.

Here is an overview of my workshops.
Understanding Dissociation and Trauma provides insight into typical symptoms and behaviours of trauma survivors. Although relevant to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, there is emphasis on conditions that have developed in childhood and early adulthood, and how brain development at these significant life stages influence how events are processed, stored and subsequently manifested. 6 CPD points are awarded.
Diversity - Communicating To Bridge The Gaps covers a range of topics and complements the above workshop. Concepts discussed include identity, culture, language, intergenerational trauma (epigenetics), the 7 dimensions of culture, honour based violence, courts and mental health.

The options for workshops are face-to-face or online. There are on-demand options too for therapeutic wellbeing support in the form of mini-courses which include a consultation either in person or online. Therapy sessions can be group (depending on location), individual and either in-person or online.

Support is available in the form of natural ways to overcome numerous physical ailments; advice on how small dietary and/or lifestyle changes can improve overall health and wellbeing. A particular passion and area of knowledge is the growth and improvement of a positive mindset, overcoming negative thoughts, anxiety, stress and trauma triggers.

Julie Anne's qualification and personal experience as a trauma survivor allow her to refer to tried and tested methods and advice. The advice combines, among others, mindset growth practices, positive affirmations, mindful activities, breathing strategies for calm and focus.
