Maxine's Pristine Clean

Maxine turned up initially to view our property to discuss our needs. She allotted 3 hrs fortnightly at a set price. An initial clean with two cleaners was arranged and they both turned up (one of them being Maxine). They did a thorough job, and we were very pleased. But not even 24hrs before our second clean, our designated cleaner turned up to hand us back our key and advise that she wouldn't be cleaning our property, someone else would be. I rang Maxine to find out what was going on and it went to voicemail, so I left a message. She didn't even have the decency to call me to explain the situation, just a text back to advise "unfortunately we have had a change in circumstance and will not be able to continue with the cleaning at this time". A call would have been appreciated to explain the situation but to hide behind a text message is both unprofessional and unacceptable for a business who states on their website a “Friendly and reliable cleaning service with Customer Satisfaction guaranteed”.

Excellent service. I have been using Maxine's pristine clean fort nightly for a couple of years. My house definitely looks pristine clean when they have been. A very thorough job done each time and little thoughtful extras carried out if time allows. I have found them reliable, trustworthy and friendly. Very good value for money.

Used her services for 6 months, she isn't thorough and turned up when she felt like it rather than the time agreed which caused me issues as I had to do conference calls sat in my garden as she was hoovering. Didn't do a good job most of the time, cleaning around things rather than picking them up, didn't clean behind kitchen pots just wiped around. Didn't dust drawer handles on my idea malm which caused big dust buildup. When I evenutally tried to cancel, she was awkward and refused to return my keys, eventually doing so but she kept a key as "security", which she claims she will give to the police. Odd woman, avoid.
