I'm Mandy and I am an accredited Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, practising in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is an evidence based approach helping you to focus on your preferred future. We do not dwell on the past so there is no dragging up painful memories. Instead we focus on the present and your future goals, encouraging you to make significant positive changes in your life. It can be extremely effective in the treatment of anxiety disorders, reducing stress, phobias, low mood and the effects of depression, as well as many other issues. My aim is to help you replace negative thought patterns and bad habits for new positive solutions and to help you feel more calm and confident with moving forward in your life.

Our sessions will be divided between positive psychotherapy and hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural process that involves gentle relaxation. It is often compared to daydreaming or meditating. You are not asleep and have complete control at all times, feeling calm and relaxed. I do recognise that each client is unique and I therefore tailor your therapy to suit your specific individual needs. Each session will involve a positive, solution focused relaxing experience and you will leave feeling refreshed and calmer. All sessions are treated with complete confidentiality.

I hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and the prestigious Practitioner Diploma (HPD). I gained both of these diplomas through training with the renowned Clifton Practice (CPHT) which is known for offering the gold standard in Hypnotherapy training. I am registered with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which is recognised by the NHS and many private healthcare companies.
