The store aims to supply livestock with a professional service and has a massive store. The expert staff ensure customers become successful fish keepers. The 4000 sq ft superstore is found in the lower sales area of the Henry Street garden centre and stock everything needed for your pond or aquarium.
Opened in January 2008 this store has a bias towards the pond keeper. On entering the store is a massive 15, 500 litre koi pond with two six foot windows come and feed the koi.
The store supplies quality tropical, marine and cold water fish. Sourced from all over the world, a great selection of healthy fish is assured. All associated dry goods are stocked from filters, food, treatments and pumps. With a 7 day price promise, shop with confidence of buying at a great price.
With a friendly team of six enthusiastic staff members, Maidenhead Aquatics @ Reading has a wealth of fishkeeping knowledge gained from years of personal experience and time within the trade. The manager has completed a two year National Diploma in Ornamental Fish Management and most of the remaining staff have attended supplier led training sessions.

Took my son there to buy some fish for a new fishbowl we purchased. The man was very unhelpful, condescending and did not offer words of advice on my son becoming a fish owner. Basically made myself and son feel very stupid for asking for fish! Needless to say my son now upset and I will certainly never go there again or recommend this store to anyone else. The fish tank I purchased may for all I know not been adequate for fish but their was no advice on an alternative or replacement.

I think that the Maidenhead Aquatics based at Henry Street are FANTASTIC. Even when they are busy they acknowledge you waiting and always give honest advice which is always spot on. If you go when they are busy you expect to be in a queue. If you go when they are quieter you can normally have a good chat to the staff. By far my fav MA store in the area.

Im not happy as i brought a blagdon mini duo for �107. 99p and the product stopped working after 3 months also had to clean the pump every week or two but the guidelines recommend every six to eight weeks very dissatified.
Response : Very confused. This appears to be a problem with a product rather than the store. If anyone has any issue with a product purchased from us then let us know and we WILL deal with it. In this case I'm not sure if Shammi has contacted the store, but certainly did not repond to the email I sent last week.
