Chris and his team have re rendered our house. The service quality and finish is excellent. Chris gave clear information and advice about what the work would entail and the most suitable finish for our property. The work was completed within timescales despite challenges with the weather and they cleared up at the end of every day, nothing was too much trouble. The cost was comparable with other quotes but Chris gave confidence that he knew what he and his team knew were doing ( and they did ) which was important to us. Our 1930's semi in Crookes was in need of the first floor rendering being replaced. Chris visited and, without any pressure, talked us through options, prices,etc. Once the job was agreed the team were very hard working and professional resulting in a job of the highest standard that has drawn positive comments from neighbours and friends. An excellent job with which we are delighted. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I had chris from mac plastering around to carry out some plastering work on a bedroom and bathroom. My house was covered in thick artexing on 3 walls and the walls were very badly damaged crumbling and had some very large holes. My house was built in 1900 and so chris's work wasn't made easy with dodgy angles and 2 new ceilings needing to be put up. Chris took the time to explain all the works that needed doing and was happy to give advise on any other areas he could. Chris went above and beyond with the work he carried out and it looks incredible I couldn't be happier! And all at a really good price too!

We hired MAC Plastering to replace a pebble dash finish that had started to peel on the front of the house. Chris visited, informed us of modern alternatives to pebble dash and spoke with us in great length about what would best suit our house. He was happy to visit our property again at a later date to discuss colour and material. Communication remained excellent throughout the whole job. Chris quoted up front, only took payment when the job was complete and sent a formal invoice and guarantee after the work had been completed. While on site Chris was careful to keep mess to a minimum - putting down sheeting and sweeping up at the end of the day. He even jet washed the pavement! We're really pleased with the finished product and wouldn't hesitate asking Chris round to carry out more work on the house.

Chris has re-rendered the back of my house. Initially I toyed with the idea of having it patched up. But from the very beginning he made it clear he wouldn't cut corners as he was proud of the work he did and did not wish to do anything that didn't look good and professional and so I took his advice and decided to have the whole back of the house re-done. Chris did not disappoint. The work is fantastic, with a beautiful finish, I am so pleased. Chris was very professional and communicated well. He also helped organise a plumber after my attempt at removing the radiator didn't go as planned. Work was to repair some damaged plastering due to damp problem- my house was left very clean and tidy after the work was undertaken- and I was given good aftercare advice regarding how to treat the walls prior to painting and some suggestions on some concerns that were noted at the property. Will certainly use again.

Chris inspired confidence immediately, assessed the job, possible ways and means, type of materials to be used, costings for each aspect of the job. Ie remove ceiling, coving, reboard and skim ceiling, new coving re skim all walls, remove all waste and tidy as best. From G and SW Quote within 24hrs, date to start arranged, confirmed day previous to start. Worked 4 days as planned and invoiced to be paid when satisfied with the finish. Punctual, always polite and pleasant to have in the house. Very pleased with all aspects of the work exactly as quoted with advice as to how to re decorate on new plaster etc. Definetly a well experienced knowledgeable tradesman who can be highly recommended. Chris has skimmed my bedroom and hallway walls and ceilings this week and done an amazing job. Professional from the minute he came to give me a price, and followed a couple of hours later with a fully written quote. The finish I've got is better than I'd hoped for. Chris helped us out when we needed some plastering doing fast. He reskimmed all walls and ceiling of a large bedroom in our victorian house - working over plasterboard, the existing original plaster and patched plaster work too. He quoted more than we had hoped for, but the work was of very high quality, he worked hard, cleaned up well after and was a nice chap to have around to boot!
