I was recommended Michael by a family member and was extremely satisfied. Michael painted my living room, hallway, stairs and bathroom. Turns up exactly when he says he will, gets on with the job, very professional. I am so pleased with my lovely rooms. I would definitely have Michael again and I have already passed his number onto my daughter.

Michael has just decorated my hall staircase and landing, removing old woodchip wallpaper and replacing with lining paper and then two coats of emulsion paint, with gloss paint to doors and woodwork. He was able to advise on appropriate colours and finishes, and carried out his work professionally and thoroughly. He cleared everything up every day and no mess was left behind. I was delighted with the work undertaken and would be happy to use him for any future decorating jobs. Thoroughly recommended.

Michael has done interior decorating (mostly painting) for us in both our current and previous home in Sheffield for over 15 years. We've just had him back to do a guest bedroom and the downstairs toilet this time. Fuelled by copious amounts of tea as he works, he always does a smart, tidy job in quick time with the minimum of fuss and for a fair price. We hope to have him back to do the next two rooms in due course.

Michael worked to a very high standard, his work was finished quickly and tidally. Every night things were left as he found them. He’d take time to hoover up after he’d worked. I’d recommend Michael to anyone.

Hi, Used Michael a couple of weeks ago, to wall paper a feature wall after a flood. Workmanship was great and reasonably priced too. He managed to squeeze us in on a Saturday morning as well, even though he was fully booked up during the normal working week. No photo as the rest of the room still looks like a bomb site but will post when its finished.

Michael has done an excellent job of wallpapering and painting 3 of our bedrooms, the hallway and stairs, living room and kitchen. Some of the walls were in a bit of a state with a fair few cracks and a lot of holes, but Michael sorted them all out, filling them in and rubbing them down; the finish was astounding. Michael is very skilled at his trade; a true professional, highly recommended and we will most definitely be asking him to come back again. Thanks Michael, I really can’t get over how well our rooms look now. .

I highly recommend Michael if you want a top notch professional paint job doing in your home for a fair price. We employed him to paint all the rooms and hallway in our 2 bedroom bungalow (except kitchen), including a newly built orangery and are absolutely delighted with the end result. We chose a strong colour for one feature wall in each room and the rest of the walls in a much lighter colour. His cutting in work is excellent and the white ceilings as well as the walls look perfect. He filled in all cracks and holes in walls and ceilings and sanded and wiped down woodwork before he started painting. He is a very organised and tidy worker, cleaning up as he goes and left everything tidy each night. He kept disruption to a minimum and at the end of each day, he put furniture, blinds and curtains back in the room he was still working on so that we could use it overnight. As we are retired we were at home the whole 9 days. We found him to be a very friendly person with a lovely personality. Nothing was too much trouble. We even enjoyed a bit of banter with him which made the whole experience memorable and for all the right reasons. We will definitely be calling Michael to do our kitchen next year. Michael is absolutely brilliant. Not only is he a superb, organised painter and decorator who will leave your home with a lovely professional finish, but he's also super-organised, so your job will run on well-oiled wheels from start to finish. He's also one of the tidiest people I've ever had working in the house, so that things are left in a liveable state at all times - and so considerate! He was always thinking about how to limit the impacts on us, and we found we could easily work from home around him. Best of all, he is a genuinely lovely human being. He's a joy to have around - a ray of sunshine whom you can trust implicitly. He helped us sort some other non-decorating problems, for which we were truly grateful. Employ him without hesitation - though he's so popular, you may have to wait a white to secure his services!

Michael did a great job papering/painting my hall, stairs and landing, also painting kitchen and bedroom. He provided good advice regarding paint colour when I was unsure, Michael definitely knows his job, is reliable, trustworthy, very helpful and a clean worker. I had no worries about going out and leaving him to it.

Recently used the services of Michael again to refresh our stairs landing and hallway, and a refresh of our kitchen, again the quality is outstanding, clean and tidy finish every day, very reasonably priced and a brilliant sense of humour. Michael did a fantastic job decorating our stairs and landing. Ceiling, coving, walls, woodwork were expertly finished and look fab. Also, the finishing touches staining and painting our bannister and handrails were welcome additions to the high quality work done. Michael also sorted all the faff and fiddle of holes left where picture fixings had been and got rid of some well cemented in radiator brackets to ensure that the finished look was exceptional. I simply cannot recommend Michael highly enough. Get booked in early - it’s worth the wait and the wait is testament to the work that will be completed. Finally, Michael’s professionalism and personable nature meant we had no issue letting him get on with the job whilst we were away!

Michael redecorated our hall, stairs and landing. Walls, ceilings, woodwork and re-varnished all the doors. Great quality work and good attention to detail. Lovely chap and very fair.
