Booking beautiful Lorraine (and her gorgeous sister Anna) is the best decision I have ever made! Lorraine’s communication has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. Lorraine really listens to what you envision yourself to look like on the day, and provides such great advice on how to make that possible / ways to make that even better! I loved having a trial with Lorraine before the big day, as this was a great way to get to know each other, look into different ideas, and I came away so excited about seeing her and being made up on the wedding day! Lorraine’s planing is fantastic! With 6 bridesmaids, ahead of time Lorraine was asking questions about their hair/make up and gave us a full morning rota to make the morning calm and efficient - and it certainly worked! Where do I even start? From the very first communication, Lorraine blew me away with her warmth and generosity. There's no such thing as a quick back and forth with her! Every message she sent was thoughtful, sweet and funny and it made the experience of working with her even better. I never felt like just another client. I booked her and her sister Anna to do my wedding day hair and make up, and hair for my bridal troupe. Ahead of the day, she was very organised, with clear schedules for everything from final invoicing to mood boards and the logistics on the wedding morning. I really enjoyed getting to know her during my hair and make-up trial and it was wonderful to see her and Anna again for the big day itself. I've had my hair done professionally for a number of weddings and I can honestly say Lorraine is the ONLY stylist who has ever done a good job of my hair, translating the vision from moodboard to model. I wish I could hire her every day! I felt beautiful, and I had so many compliments on both my hair and makeup, which she ensured perfectly matched the vision I had for my look. My bridesmaids and bridal party were equally impressed -- fabulous flowing locks and stylish up-dos + blowdries all round! Lorraine is absolutely made for this work. I can’t thank Lorraine enough for the incredible make-up she did for my wedding day. She completely understood the natural, radiant look I was after, and I felt so beautiful and confident all day - I had compliments from start to finish! From the very first trial at her lovely home, Lorraine was so welcoming and made the whole experience feel really special. She was so lovely with my five-year-old daughter, who absolutely adored her - she gently included her in the process and made her feel part of it all. Lorraine beautifully did my wedding hair and make-up, as well as that of my mum and two bridesmaids. It wasn't the first time we had met as she had also been the hair and make-up artist at a friends wedding. Based on that experience I went straight to Lorraine for my own day. I never wear make-up and was quite nervous going into the trial. I needn't have worried. Lorraine really took time to understand my wishes for the day and gave me a very complementary natural look. I wanted to wear my hair down and she gave it gorgeous waves. I felt like a million dollars! I had a lot of compliments on the day about my hair and make-up, especially from my now husband. Thank you so much Lorraine (and Anna! ) for the amazing hair and make up you did for me and my bridal party for my August 2024 wedding! I am absolutely not a make up person usually, partly due to the fact I have a few different allergies and sensitive skin that can be triggered by some common ingredients in make up, which made me very nervous to go for a full face! But you worked with me from the trial to reassure me and make sure that I was comfortable and happy with the products you were using on me by showing me all of the ingredients beforehand and by creating a very natural but enhancing look - and everything turned out perfectly at both the trial and on the day. I got so many compliments all day and the hair and make up stayed perfectly in place through a 14 hour wedding day! Which is a feat in and of itself. All of my bridesmaids and my mum loved their looks as well - and we all know that pleasing a 15 year old with their make up can be challenging but you nailed every look. And thank you for being so organised and calming the morning of the big day as well - we had such a great morning together and it really set us up for the most perfect day. .

What a beautiful creative soul you’ll find with Lorraine, I was so fortunate that she could do my wedding make up from young and fresh to ancient beauties. We all arrived as catapillers and left as glorious butterflies. Such a natural, fresh yet dewy look that lasted the 12 hours, each and everyone of us felt like a queen. She’s just brilliant and reading you and just making you the most beautiful version of yourself ? .

I had a perfect Wedding Day and I can't thank Lorraine enough for all the wonderful work she did for me to contribute our perfect day so I would like to leave this personal review to honour all her fantastic work. Lorraine was very professional and caring from the start, always responsive to my queries, and really made me feel that my opinion was valued. She created the best version of me as a bride. The make up and hairstyle were tailored for me to perfectly suit my nature, and also my choice of the wedding dress. It was perfect. She is a multi-talented artist, and also a fantastic photographer - she took some beautiful photos for me after I was all fully dressed up as a bride. I also want to especially thank Lorraine who worked beyond her professional capacity when she saw me having issues with my dress. She helped to problem solve the situation, found a needle and thread from her suitcase, and spontaneously fixed a loose button which was causing such an issue. I was so relieved after what Lorraine did and I can't thank her more for what she did for me from the bottom of my heart. I had such a memorable Wedding day that I will never forget. Me and my now wedded husband were surrounded by all our loved ones and families, and we met the most lovely hosts at our beautiful wedding venue, Britwell House. I’m a bridesmaid for my mums wedding and I am 11 I had a soft glam makeup look and I loved it! Lorraine is very gentle while doing her makeup and she is very lovely. I love my lashes and my eyes and my skin it’s incredible!

I met Lorraine when she was makeup artist for a wedding that I was maid of honour for. The marriage didn’t last - but my friendship and professional relationship with Lorraine did! She has done my makeup for the BAFTAs the bifas film premieres and most recently she spent a day doing makeup and then photographing professional headshots. I am so delighted with them and wish I’d had them done years ago. Lorraine is just so natural - as skilled as she is, that skill is matched by how comfortable she makes you feel, by how relaxed and easygoing she is. A genuinely wonderful human who also happens to be the best makeup artist in the business. .

Lorraine is just wonderful - from my hair and make-up trial to the day, everything was perfect, she really listened and captured the exact look I wanted - I felt absolutely AMAZING on my Wedding day. I’ve been lucky enough to have several beautiful experiences with Lorraine now, from bridesmaid, to bride, to a tutorial reviving my makeup routine. Each experience has been really wonderful and left me feeling and looking my best. Lorraine always focuses on your best features and has such a lovely calm energy, it makes the whole process feel pampering and special. She’s brilliant one on one but has also been great in a group - she just fits right in and works her magic. Can’t recommend her enough!

Lorraine did the hair and makeup for my wedding earlier this summer. Lorraine did a wonderful job on everybody, and ran perfectly to time, despite the various interruptions that inevitably happen on a wedding day, like people popping in to visit, presents, cards, flower deliveries etc. Not only that but she has such a calm manner that the whole tone of the morning was lovely and relaxed, despite so much going on!

What can I say… Lorraine is truly a miracle worker. Not only is she a kind and lovely person she is also incredibly talented. From the trial to the wedding day she made me feel at ease and really listened to what I was hoping to achieve. My hair and makeup was incredible and I received so many compliments! She also created a beautiful look on my bridesmaids and mother, they all looked so beautiful. Even though she had some issues travelling to the hotel, she still did everything she could to get there and she still managed to finish earlier than scheduled! I had the pleasure of working with Lorraine for a make up and photo shoot which I booked to get some high quality professional head shots that could be used for business use. Having booked Lorraine for previous make up sessions I knew I was in safe hands but I was thrilled with the end results and the number of great images that I’ll be able to use. Anyone who has worked with Lorraine will know that she’s just fantastic when it comes to make up and having had many make up sessions over the years with people I know that she is literally the best. Make up and hair were flawless and worked perfectly with the brief given. This was my first time working with Lorraine on a photography project and I was blown away by her vision and artistic ability to get shots that completely exceeded my expectations. She did the most beautiful job of my hair - her creativity, attention to detail and talent is unparalleled - and that is coming from an utter perfectionist who has been left disappointed by hairstylists before. Lorraine did my hair and make up for my wedding day in March 2023 and was absolutely fantastic. From an administrative perspective, the whole process was clear and transparent and I knew what I needed to pay for, when and what services it included. She made recommendations (such as hair extensions as my hair was very thin) but there was absolutely no pressure. She listened completely to my vision and brought that to life whilst adding her honest opinions. Both the hair and make up looked extremely professional and lasted all day (and importantly without any 'hair headaches'! ) However, what really sets Lorraine apart from others in this space is her serene and calming attitude and approach. She is a fantastic individual to be around with many wonderful stories - perfect to take the edge off of any nerves. She's communicative with photographers and helps them to get those important 'getting ready' shots and is very sociable which helps if you have any of the wedding party dropping in as you're getting ready!
