About Lancashire Learners School of Motoring
If you are paying to be taught to drive by a driving school, your instructor must be an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) or hold a trainee licence. At Lancashire Learners you can be sure that you will be taught by an approved driving instructor.

Both fully qualified we also build on our knowledge and follow the DVSA standard of Continued Personal Development which means we offer you the pupil the best standard of teaching. In other words we keep training and adding to our knowledge keeping up to date with new and changing aspects of learning to drive.
Making up your mind on who to choose as your driving instructor is a big decision. So why not read below and see a selection of pupils we have taught to drive and see what they have to say. Then give us a quick call to answer any further questions you may have.
I'm so glad I went with Den. After every lesson I'd go home and feel as though I've learnt something, excellent value for money! Not only were his lessons practical, he helped me grow confidence and his people skills were fabulous. He made me feel at ease, safe and like I belonged on the road. Not only a great driving instructor but a nice friendly person too. 100% recommend.
Firstly, I liked having 2 hour lessons as they enabled me to progress more weekly than I would have if only 1 hour lessons. Secondly, I like how Den likes the pupil to answer questions and did what they feel they need to develop in the lesson. I found this beneficial and also only to book your test when you feel confident and ready.
Den was very friendly, patient and helpful. The lesson folder he gave me kept everything fresh in my mind and made private practice more productive. He always asked what I wanted to do in the lesson meaning the time was spent on doing things that needed looking at rather than trying to do everything all at once. We filled out a score sheet every week (1-5 ratings) which helped me see an improvement and what needed work, this added to the confidence also as you know you can do it. Very good also at learning step by step which makes lessons such as manoeuvres easier to learn )Passed 1st attempt.
