JT School of Motoring

Cannot recommend JT School of motoring enough. John was recommended to me by a friend after a very good experience and I was not disappointed at all. John is an outstanding teacher who works at a pace you can deal with, your own learning dictates the pace which to me, is ideal. Its worth noting that if you compare prices with other teachers, JT School of motoring may appear a little more on the surface of things, but this is more than made up for by the inclusion of theory software to help you through and the fact that John is such a good teacher. Would give more stars if able.

Would 100% recommend, great driving instructor, highly approachable. Always ready to help even when you're making some sort of silly mistakes.

Driving really didn't come naturally to me and to start with I was really nervous behind the wheel. I'd had two driving instructors as a teenager who weren't very understanding and started learning with John after a glowing recommendation from a friend. John is a fantastic, friendly and professional teacher, he's really intuitive and adapts his teaching methods to your needs. I genuinely never thought I'd be able to drive and John's teaching methods got me through it. He recognises easily what you need to work on and when you need to be pushed to try harder. Cannot recommend enough, driving has changed my life! Thank you John!

John was a great driving instructor who helped me every step of the way to passing my test. He helped me gain confidence behind the wheel at the start of my lessons and throughout my driving lesson experience. He fit my lessons around my needs and I always had a lesson each week. With both my older siblings having passed with John and never hearing a bad review I would highly recommend him to anyone who was thinking about taking driving lessons!

As a young man of 21 with Aspergers Syndrome I was very keen but also very anxious to start learning to drive; I was recommended to John by a friend who had passed first time. Once I started with lessons I soon felt at ease; John's patience and his calm and collected way of explaining things made me persevere and helped me to become more confident behind the wheel. John always believed in me right from the start and he was right because not only did I pass but I passed first time. I would have no hesitation in recommending John to anyone and I already have done with friends and neighbours.

John is a great instructor, he's very patient which helped me gain the skills to drive well and pass my test with only 3 minors. John takes a lot of pride in his work to ensure his pupils are not only going to pass their test, but have learnt to drive safely and confidently. It was always very easy to get a hold of John, whether to book/change a lesson or just with general queries. John is very easy to get along with and has a great collection of stories to tell also! The instructor car is a great car to learn to drive in :).

My time with John was definitely worth it! I have a severe stammer and John was really helpful. He gave me the patience and time I needed. He would arrive on time and we would finish exactly on time. Coming from Dewsbury was totally worth it. I cannot explain how much of a good instructor he is. The way John teaches you the skill to pass is excellent. I cant thank you enough John. To have passed first time is something I would have never expected. An absolute privilege to have had John as my instructor. Definitely no doubt at all worth the money. John is a fab driving instructor! After switching from a different instructor to John I felt confident and at ease. Although I didn't pass first time John was supportive and patient! Can't recommend enough.

Pass today thanks to john after being a motorbike rider for 10years and having a serious accident 18 months ago I thought id start to learn to drive a car and after just 2 and a half months of lessons passed first time, john made lessons fun and enjoyable and he picks up on everything and pushes you to be the best you can his methods of teaching are quite simply the best around I always said to friends and family I wanted to learn with the best instructor around and thats what you get with john. As for the previous review john was always on time and does say in the first chat he doesnt do 1 hour lessons this guy has just made the biggest mistake of his life not staying with john thanks again john.

Complete waste of money. It says lessons are 1 hour long on his website but when you actually book them he says he doesn't do 1 hour lesson instead he does 1 hour 30 mins. Never comes on times, you have one lesson then you have to wait another 3 weeks to get your next lesson.

I am a 58 year old grandma, I passed 1st time with the help from John. He is so caring, and patient. I thank him with all my heart for having faith in my ability and boosting my confidence as a driver. If you want an excellent instructor, John is the one I recommend.

John is a lovely guy who's main aim is to make you a good driver. Not only to pass your test but to prepare you for driving and maintaining your own car well. He is patient, calm and easy to get on with. I was not the most natural or confident driver, but he pushed me when I needed it and I passed first time within 8 weeks of starting. Couldn't recommend him more.

I was a fairly nervous driver to start with but John helped build my confidence by encouragement and always pushing at the boundaries of my driving skill in order to increase my capability with each lesson. He provided a friendly environment in which to learn that I never felt judged in.

Thanks to John, I was able to get through my driving test with the knowledge that I had him to help me every step of the way, initially when I started driving I was extremely lacking confidence but because of Johns kind nature and professional advice I was able to gain confidence and pass my test and also my pass plus with him. I would definitely recommend anybody to use JT School of Motoring, John is easy to get along with and also knows how to get the job done.

I recently passed the practical driving test during my first attempt after learning with John for a few months. John is always teaching in a friendly and encouraging manner and can clearly explain the difficulty things inside out. For those mistakes I made, John helped me to rectify the them through practicing with patience. The learning with John let me know how to drive safely on the road, which is the main target of his teaching, rather than only passing the test.

I started taking driving lessons with John in 2011. I woluld highly recommend John, he was always extremely friendly and supportive throughout my driving lessons. I was a very nervous learner but John was very patient and enabled me to gain the confidence I needed in order to pass my driving test. I have now been driving for nearly 2 years and I feel safe, comfortable and confident on the road. I feel this is all down to John. Thank you very much.

I was one of John's students a few years ago and found him to be a very pleasant teacher. He was patient and did not put any kind of pressure on me. He also makes sure you are 100% perfect before taking your test which resulted in me passing 1st time. I would recommend him to any one I know and he helped a few of my friends pass 1st time too! John is a fantastic driving instructor. I was very nervous to start off with, but John is very patient and friendly, so my confidence quickly increased. He doesn't waste time on things he knows you can do just to get you to pay for more lessons, he is only interested in you becoming a safe and confident driver so that you are able to pass your test. Great value for money, and I would recommend him to anyone wanting driving lessons.
