Jean Pascal Chenais Driving Instructor

JP is the most amazing driving instructor you can imagine. He had helped me pass the first time. He’s very patient helpful and friendly and will teach you everything you need to be a great and safe driver. I could not recommend JP enough!

JP passed me 1st time with only 4 minors! I have Cerebral palsy which never once phased JP but my condition has resulted in instructors refusing to teach me previously when I was looking for an instructor. JP is so kind, super supportive and 110% approachable which is exactly what I needed for my confidence along with a good sense of humour. Really generous and flexible with time, got lots done in a lesson. He got me test ready with his supportive and patient nature, explaining faults fully and striving to better me as a driver. He definitely made sure that I wasn’t to be afraid of the examiner who happened to be a nice guy anyway. I cannot thank him enough for all he’s done for me and changing my life! Thank you again JP!

JP is absolutely professional, patient and ensures to fine tune your areas of weaknesses. I have been lucky to have him as my instructor and thankful to him for transforming me into a confident driver on the road. I have passed my driving test first attempt and truly enjoyed entire experience of learning.

JP was a pleasure to learn with. Very patient around my mistakes and clear on feedback throughout. He clearly showed his experience as an instructor giving a lot of insight on what to expect in the test and common mistakes to avoid. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an instructor.

I met JP when I moved from a manual car to an automatic and I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. He is really funny which made me feel comfortable and at ease from the first lesson. I was even looking forward to my lessons which has never been the case before. He gives clear instructions and is straight to the point. Learning with him made me actually enjoy driving and I have been successful in passing my test on the first try. Couldn't recommend him enough!

My previous instructor retired a few months before my test and JP took me on, helping me to pass my test first time. JP is a friendly, patient and relaxed instructor, great to chat with, with expert knowledge of the area and it's various potholes! I can 100% recommend him — thank you so much, JP!

I have been with jp for a few months due to as not felt like I was progressing previous instructor. Being with jp really built my confidence that I needed and progressed with him very quickly. Due to he’s friendly and calming manner and teaching methods. Highly recommended. Passed first time wouldn’t have done without the help of jp.

JP just got me through my test with a 1st Time pass. He has been absolutely amazing for the last few months and has given me the guidance I need in a calm and mentoring style. I would highly recommend him. Two people in my family have now passed 1st time with JP. Still two more to go, but I am confident he can work his magic on them as well.

Jean helped me right at the last minute when my car I was going to do my test in came up with a warning light and 2 days before my test he helped me do a couple hours in his car to get use to it and then helped me passed my test first time! Thank you so much for helping at short notice! Such a calm and kind instructor!

JP is an excellent teacher, very kind and honest person, quite witty towards life too reminding you there's nothing to be stressed at all, so I enjoyed our lessons they were fun as well as informative. He has this influence on you to drive better providing a very calm and supportive environment. He's quite busy though so count yourself lucky if you're able to arrange a lesson, as he's simply the best in my opinion .

JP is amazing! After a particularly dreadful feeling for driving lessons due to my previous instructor, JP made me feel calm and confident again. I can hand on heart say if it wasn't for him I would never have passed my test first time around. He provides such a relaxed environment to learn and I will miss our chats about everything and nothing. If you're looking for an instructor I would 1000% recommend JP and will be recommending him to anyone that will listen!
