I started learning with Steve a few years ago, and he was a very patient and supportive teacher. He always encouraged me to keep going with my driving lessons even after 2 failed attempts. However, because of all his help I was able to successfully pass my test. Steve was always very positive and constantly kept pushing me to do my best in every lesson. I would 100% recommend Jay’s Driving School and Steve, especially to new drivers, because the quality of teaching is really good and Steve is a fantastic teacher.

Learning to drive with Jay was a great experience from start to finish. He’s patient, professional, and always makes sure you feel comfortable behind the wheel. Over the five months I trained with him, he consistently put in the effort to help me improve, offering clear guidance and encouragement along the way. Even on the day of my test, he made sure I was calm and fully prepared, which helped me pass first time with only six minors. I originally chose Jay’s Driving School based on the positive reviews I had read, but my experience quickly turned negative. After my first lesson, Jay became extremely disrespectful and dismissive. His behaviour was not only unprofessional but also seemed intentionally aimed at undermining my confidence. Instead of offering constructive feedback or support, he made personal remarks that left me feeling belittled and discouraged. Jay’s cold attitude and self-centred approach made it clear that his focus was more on praising himself than teaching effectively. I found his conduct to be both demeaning and detrimental to my learning experience. For any learner driver seeking a respectful and encouraging environment, I would not recommend Jay’s Driving School.

Just now. New. After a couple months doing manual, my instructor at the time said it would take me a year to pass. I ended that and luckily found Jay who I started automatic lessons with and told me that I can drive well, and I will pass in a couple of months. Due to troubles of finding a test date it took awhile therefore had to do more lessons to keep up practice. We managed to pay for a test 8 through a third party and despite having to leave the country for four weeks, I passed first time, and this is all from the dedication from this Driving Instructor. If I could do it again, I would pick him. Thank you so much.

Jay is the best around if you want to pass your test with a stable patient and firm instructor that will teach everything you do then jay is your man! Can’t thank him enough ? 5*** thankyou jay can’t talk highly of you ! ).

Passed first time with Jay he’s amazing and was able to make me the first 2025 candidate to pass. He believed in me and promised me I will pass which I did. He won’t take you for a test if he thinks you won’t be able to pass he genuinely cares about ensuring you pass rather than lying and making you waste money on tests knowing you won’t pass it. The best Instructor I’ve ever had and I’ve had 3!

Jay is the most professional instructor I know. Not does he want you to pass first time, he makes sure you drive safely and uses his experience to make you the best driver you can be.

Started lessons with Jay with no prior experience and I have to say he is truly amazing. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. He was very knowledgeable and gave me all the key tips and advice for a first time pass. He was always on time and early to our lessons, never cancelled on me, and was very professional in general. First time pass-he's the best.

I have been taking lessons with Jay since September. Previously I had 2 other driving instructors and I thought I was bad at driving and would never get my licence. After finding Jay through his website and reading the positive reviews, I decided to book a lesson. I could definitely tell he was different and while I was doubting myself Jay set me straight. He went back to basics and taught me everything I needed to know. Even during the test I was extremely nervous but I just followed Jays advice and everything just came naturally. I even surprised myself and passed first time with Jay.

Passed first time with Jatin, who is a patient and polite instructor who helped me learn all the simple techniques and references whilst carrying out manoeuvres and driving.
