This was the most bizarre experience of my life, I really have no idea how these guys operate, but I have the feeling that they operate as a type of call centre, where un qualified operatives undertake paperwork in order to fulfil the criteria of the courts. I would not trust them as when I had an issue with one of them, which I felt was blown out of proportion, I then tried to explain what I felt had been mis interpreted, and was told by Sam Hill who is the operations manager, that I had written an email which was too long, which in my defence, was simply a few paragraphs, however, clearly too long for the staff at Braintree who can only deal in simple statements. They are cheap, but maybe you get what you pay for, and in this case, in my experience is a glorified call centre with people unable to take on board anything outside of what they are used to…. I would highly recommend that you do not use these guys if you wish to get good and professional service.
A difficult case involving several trusts making up my aunts estate. IWC representative had endless patience with me in explaining the numerous problems and how best to deal with them. She then dealt with the case and could not have been more helpful! Always answered my e-mail messages promptly and brought case to an efficient, professional and successful outcome. Many thanks.
I was a bit green in regards to the probate process but fortunately made the right decision in selecting IWC. I had found IWC's approach to be informative, professional, and compassionate. Especially at a time when my late mother's funeral had taken place. Looking back, it was a quite an emotional roller coaster that was dealt with patiently. I had never felt pressurised in providing information plus I was always updated and advised when required. Even though the process was quite lengthy in tying up my late mother's affairs, the end result had given her some dignity. As this was my first probate task under unfortunate circumstances, I have a greater understanding thanks to IWC. Many thanks for your service.
We needed a Deed of Variation completing to change our son's will. This was a difficult time but Sharon was kind and considerate and let us take our time before going ahead with the work. This was done quickly and after a minor amendment, accurately. Using IWC was cheaper than using local solicitors but gave us great peace of mind in that it was carried out by a professional who we could talk to. To get a Deed of variation wrong could lead to big tax demands so we were very pleased with the outcome and would recommend IWC.
Engaged Sharon at IWC to assist with the UK probate filing for an estate in the US. We used a living will in the US and did not go through US probate and Sharon helped us navigate through the UK process to a successful conclusion for the amount that was quoted to us at the start of the process.
This company handled the will of my Aunt for whom I was one of two executors. At the start I had thought of making the arrangements myself and saving the money. How glad I am that I didn't! There turned out to be several complications as well as anticipated difficulties, and each was dealt with in an efficient, friendly and communicative way. The member of staff who dealt with the work built up an excellent, pleasant working relationship by always responded rapidly to my questions and keeping me informed of the progress at all times. Yes it cost us money, but there is no way I could have handled the complexities myself and we are safe in the knowledge that the job has been done properly. Very satisfied customer!
A smooth and efficient service to deal with the estate of my late Aunt. The Grant of Probate was issued without any complications or delays and any questions raised were answered promptly. It was a pleasure to deal with this company and Sharon Edwards in particular who was my main contact throughout the transaction.
My requirement was the sale of an American stockholding from a UK estate. Steve Pyott understood the issue immediately and explained fully and concisely the procedure to follow. He provide all the documents required with precise and full instructions as to completion and the whole process became very straightforward. He then completed the transaction much quicker than I had been led to believe was possible. The charges were fully explained and very reasonable and I was offered attractive terms which proved to be much better than had been expected. Very helpful and professional - I would not hesitate to recommend Steve and IWC Estate for any technical assistance with any Estate of Probate problems.
Having found IWC on the internet it was a little scary to employ an organisation I did not know. However, after finding out about them and deciding to use them, their service was very good. My allocated Case Manager was extremely helpful and was happy to metaphorically hand hold. I was very glad for someone else to deal with the tax for instance…Thanks IWC for helping out at a stresssful time.
I contacted IWC after reading their excellent testimonials, and Tony Crocker came to my home to advise me clearly and sympathetically. He reassured me about dealing with a very difficult family member, and IWC provided the most competitive quote. Stella Smith was outstanding as estate administrator, and she and Tony dealt professionally, sensitively and patiently with a very difficult estranged family situation above and beyond the call of duty. I acted as Executor, but Stella was always there to advise me, responding immediately by email or phone. Although the estate administration was technically very simple, it took 11 months to complete due to a difficult and contentious family situation. I highly recommend IWC to anyone facing similar family problems after the death of a loved one. Thank you Stella and Tony.
Resented having to pay for this form as I expected to be able to get it through the Probate Office, however that is no reflection on your service. I had been trying to clarify this issue (Deed of Renunciation) for some time and receiving conflicting advice. The verbal advice I was given confirmed once and for all what the requirement was and I subsequently bought the necessary form which arrived in my inbox very quickly. I still think this should have been a free HM. Gov download but I'm glad that I was finally able to get the form through your service. Thank you.
Contacted IWC (Steve Pyott) to complete the sell of shares in three USA based companies for Probate, this was a complicated protracted process (approx. 12 months) involving Medallion Signatures and Affidavits. The process was carried out in a friendly efficient manner and I was informed of progress at regular intervals throughout. Excellent service - John Hulin.
