Independent Driving School

In my opinion Adam was an excellent instructor, he created a calm atmosphere which I believe to be crucial when trying to learn anything I would drive with him every other week each time improving and developing further. I would say that “independent driving” is worth the money as you you can’t put a price on high quality.

I am absolutely thrilled to have passed my driving test in Poole, and it's all thanks to my brilliant instructor, Hamish from Independent Driving School. Hamish is everything you could want in an instructor: incredibly patient, very considerate, and genuinely a lovely person. From the very first lesson, he created a calm and positive learning environment that made me feel at ease. His instructions are always clear and easy to follow, which built up my confidence massively. I genuinely enjoyed every lesson with him, and his supportive teaching style meant I was fully prepared and confident for my test. I have had the best time learning to drive with my instructor Jason! Lessons have always been fun, productive and something to look forward too. I am so greatful to have come across Independent Driving School as I have now achieved the milestone of passing after previously struggling in manual. Jason throughout my time, has always been encouraging, despite my slip ups and off lessons - keeping me enthusiastic and confident with my abilities. I would 100% recommend him for lessons as he pushed me to develop my skills and I feel I learnt at such a rapid pace! I had an amazing experience with Jason from Independent Driving School as my automatic driving instructor, and managed to pass first time with 3 minors! I came to him from another instructor who I felt I wasn’t progressing with, and just from my first lesson with Jason, I quickly gained confidence in my own ability as a safe and responsible driver. Jason always gave me the chance to not only learn, but also to better understand why I was making mistakes and how I could improve. In my 50+ hours with Jason, he was always punctual to our lessons, mapped out lesson plans at the start, made me feel relaxed, and was always keen to address any concerns I had with my driving. I’m glad (and relieved) I have my license now, but I’ll definitely miss my lessons!

I had such a wonderful experience with karen after not getting on with previous instructor, she explains things really well and is always calm and able to have a good laugh with which I felt really helped me too be less nervous during learning. I have been driving with Independent Driving School for over 6 months now with my instructor Adam. He taught my brother a few years ago and his contact details got passed onto me from him. Adam was a very pleasant driving instructor teaching me how to safely and effectively drive a car, and when I made a mistake, he was very supportive and thoughtful and showed me how to correct my mistakes. I passed my test first time with 3 minors and would strongly recommend Independent Driving School to any other people looking to learn to drive.

I first contacted Adam from Independent Driving about 6 months ago and he was very quick to reply with the times he was available. My first lesson he took me through all the basics after never having driven before and he went at my pace, carefully working on things that were weaker and continued to do this throughout all our sessions. When I got to my test he was very comforting and supportive and I managed to pass with only one minor fault. I would highly recommend Independent Driving to anyone willing to learn to drive.

My daughter passed first time with only two minors. Adam built her confidence, and he was always very reliable and turned up on time. She initially started doing 2hr sessions weekly and then moved onto fortnightly as her test date was so far away. Adam was fantastic and I would strongly recommend him to any one wanting to pass with flying colours. He really cares and has great attention to detail.

I enjoyed my lesson with Adam, he was easy to get along with and put me at ease about driving. I began lessons in December doing weekly 2 hour lessons until March and then switched to fortnightly lessons until June where I passed my test first time. Adam was a great instructor and I was highly recommend.

Karen is an amazing instructor who is really patient, explains everything very clearly and also her friendliness made my lessons very enjoyable. Thanks to all her support and encouragement I was able to pass my test first time with zero minors. This definitely would not have been possible without Karen - I cannot recommend her enough!

Adam was brilliant super helpful I passed my test first try 2 minors all thanks to him. He was super descriptive I came into my test feeling confident I knew all the routes and what to expect coming into my test. I myself had no car to practice in my free time making his lessons all I had to work with. He was super chatty easy to get along with and car was amazing to drive and learn in.

I had Jason who was amazing, I had him for 9 months absolute amazing instructor to work with, he never shouted once, always kept calm with me and helped me pass first time. He was also always on time never cancelled on me close to time always gave me good reasons if he ever did have to cancel which only happened once or twice in about 40 lessons if you are looking for the best instructor GO WITH JASON!
