After using the same pc for quite some time I was looking into getting a new one built just before Christmas, so after a friend of mine had recommended me to 'I love my pc' I went to check out what they could offer. Everyone I had spoken to was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable in regards to my queries. Ian had helped me all the way through with my custom build PC and at a very reasonable price considering the ongoing issues with the prices of computer components being so unpredictable recently. All the way through I was kept up too date with how everything was coming together with my PC via email or phone call and always asked if any necessary changes were required. Very happy with the end result had the PC built with no delays, exceeded expectations and at a very reasonable price and functions very well. Would highly recommend 'I love my PC' and will be using their services for the continued future. - Steven Robinson.
I'm one of the worlds 'techno phobics' and generally feel very out of touch with computers/IT/online ANYTHING. One of my neighbour's recommended 'I LOVE MY PC', when I needed to update my outdated Australian lap top. On every occasion since (there have been quite a few! ) I've had my questions answered and my computer issues resolved by very knowledgeable staff. They are all professional, efficient and friendly and I feel able to ask pretty basic questions, which the majority of people already seem to know. So, many thanks to the crew @ I LOVE MY PC. Arranging on the day of arrival at the store, I logged a job for having a new Laptop Battery fitted, and for a constant clicking noise to be fixed, which I believed to be a build up of dust on the fan. The Laptop itself was taken out the back so the correct battery required could be checked and ordered in. I was informed on the day that a holding payment of £39. 95 would be taken on a card, and that the payment would be taken out fully once the job was complete. This was on the contrary as the full payment was taken out the following day, and furthermore I had to continuously chance up the whereabouts of the Battery ordered. Two weeks and two days later I was contacted to inform me that the battery was in, and I was asked if could I make it to the store on the Friday approaching. Unable to make the Friday I spoke to a member of staff and arranged to attend the store on the Monday. Arriving there on Monday, the member of staff I had spoken to was away until Wednesday and there was absolutely no record of me being booked in for the day! ?! Furious with this appalling service I was told that the price of £39.95 that was taken out of my bank didn't include the labour cost!? This was a breakdown of communication amongst them as I was told that it was. Because of this, there was an agreement made to waive the labour cost of £60 and I was sent away and asked to come back the following day. After two weeks and six days the Battery was replaced successfully, and I was told that the constant clicking noise may still be there but will settle. Being told that the fan area had all been cleaned proved after to be nothing but fabricated truth!? I would not use them again as it seems very clear that they don't work as a team.Moreexpand_more
My computer kept switching itself off so I took it along to I Love My PC as I know other people who have had good service from them. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty fan, replaced it, repasted the motherboard and gave it a much needed clean! Excellent service and a good price.
I took in a school laptop with a power jack issue and they said they would call to confirm the price of the repair. They called back promptly to say they needed to order a part in and the work should be done in a couple of days. Great. I then got a call to say the motherboard had failed and as the laptop wouldn't boot they couldn't do the repair. I was sure it was working before so once back at the office I removed the battery and reseated the RAM… and it WORKED! I was charged a £40 "diagnostic" fee by this company and they didn't even get that right!
