I started Yoga with Sibylla in 2015 when I was preparing for a marathon. I have continued classes because it doesn't just help with flexibility and core strength, I found it helps with my mental health too. I also sleep better, it's helped me to become a much calmer person by using breathing and mindfulness techniques I have learned from Sibylla. The class sizes are small enough that you feel you have enough support. I would recommend Sibylla and say it's the best Yoga class I've ever been too. Namaste.
I have been attending Sibylla's yoga classes for three years now and have noticed a real difference in my core strength, balance, flexibility and overall fitness. I love the classes. I am challenged every week and it is so exciting to make progress in areas I thought I would never be able to manage. Sibylla is great at encouraging me to stretch myself and always takes time to help us when we are struggling with a hold or balance. Definitely recommended. .
I have been coming to Sibylla's classes for 15 months now and am so thankful that I found her. She is a fantastic teacher with a very warm and caring nature. Due to the small class sizes she is able to closely support your yoga practice and help to correct postures to ensure you are getting the maximum benefit. I always leave her class feeling completely relaxed and Yoga has improved both my physical and mental health. Do not hesitate to book in :-).
Sibylla is a great yoga teacher - always enthusiastic and welcoming, and no one is left feeling they aren't good enough. Her classes are small (usually about 4 to 6) so she is able to give individual attention to each of us to ensure we're doing the positions correctly. I'm very lucky to have found her.
I’ve been going to House of Yoga classes for several years and it’s definitely been the best yoga class I’ve tried. Classes are small and Sibylla’s knowledge and guidance is excellent. In larger classes you can be overlooked but this isn’t the case at House of Yoga and your practice really benefits as a result of this. It’s a really friendly and welcoming space too.
Visited Plymouth last week and was keen to maintain my yoga practice. I felt very lucky to find Sibylla and enjoyed 2 sessions at House of Yoga. The ambience was perfect and Sibylla offered a knowledgeable and patient teaching which really enhanced my understanding and execution of specific poses. Thanks Sibylla will definitely come again when I am next in Plymouth.
I have found a way to exercise, to De-stress to and slow down my life. Sybilla's patient instruction has given me confidence and encouragement. Her combination of ruthlessness and kindness and her sense of humour has made me re-think what getting older means, what I now can do, rather than what I can't! Thank you!
I highly recommend Pregnancy Yoga. Sibylla's warmth and positive energy combined with the small class sizes made for an intimate environment and provided a wonderful opportunity to relax even during the very late stages of pregnancy. The yoga moves were great for improving muscle strength and flexibility, including the all important pelvic floor. The breathing and relaxation techniques I learned were invaluable during my son's home birth with no pain relief!
My quest to find a good teacher in Plymouth finally was not just a far thought anymore! Sibylla is an excellent and a natural teacher and what better way to learn yoga? But from a true teacher! The space she has created for yoga is perfect, and sometimes I do wish I lived there :) it is simply beautiful. Here is someone who loves what she does and it is evident the moment you walk inside. She is lovely and a warm person, her classes are personal, precise and challenging. Her infectiously positive energy sweeps through every class. Thank you for all that you do, you do it so wonderfully. Xx.
Yoga Away DayYoga with Sibylla is a great experience. Had a wonderful yoga away day with great attention and care from Sibylla. It is so much more than yoga; wonderful company, stimulating conversation and great food in a peaceful surrounding. Stress levels much reduced. Especially the restorative yoga was very good and gave me some much needed energy back. Can't wait to do it again. Thanks Sibylla! Caroline Goodman, Cornwall.
I joined Sibylla’s yoga class four years ago, during my first pregnancy. Having suffered with a bad back for years, I have found yoga incredibly beneficial and my flexibility and overall feeling of wellbeing has improved greatly. I practised yoga in Sibylla’s pre-natal yoga class throughout both my pregnancies, and feel that it is no coincidence I had two quick, drug free unassisted births with no complications. I would encourage anyone – regardless of their ability – to try yoga. Classes are small and tailored to everyone’s individual level of ability. Sibylla is a wonderful teacher and a positive, inspiring person. I cannot recommend the House of Yoga enough!
I have been a regular practioner of Yoga with Sibylla for around 3 years. Sibylla's classes are structured to ease you out of the stresses of the day giving you the opportunity to explore your breathing and movement regardless of your level of experience. I have seen great improvment in my own and fellow students strength and flexibility under Sibylla's guidance, this has given me the confidence to attempt more challenging poses in my own time.
