I cried when I first met nova because I was struggling in a new and higher maths set I had been placed in. Despite never feeling as if I would fail maths, the confidence nova gave me pushed me to do better than just ‘good enough’. I haven’t got my results for my GCSEs yet but I know that when I do I will be eternally grateful for the work she put in so I could achieve that grade. She also has a very cute cat :).

Nova has a calm and friendly appearance, She has always supported me and made me feel that I can accomplish anything. Without Nova I know I wouldn’t be where I am now with maths. She always helped me no matter how easy or tricky a topic was. I would really reccomend nova to any age of students, She builds confidence and not only helps with maths, She made me feel supported and worthy.

Nova has been teaching my daughter (C) maths since 2023. C used to hide under the table because she hated maths so much but Nova has worked her magic with her. C has never once complained about going to Novas lessons, and I am so proud to see her confidence has grown as she goes into her gcse's. C says that 'Nova is amazing, warm, friendly and does not belittle me'. Thank you Nova, you have made C a stronger, more confident student. X.

My son has been going to Nova since September 25, for support with his GCSE maths. It has always been his nemesis, but Nova has been absolutely fantastic with him ! She is so patient and caring, and really goes the extra mile for her students. He hasn't once complained about having to go to his sessions, because he recognised how much of a help she was to him. She's encouraging and knowledgeable, and honestly, I'll miss taking him to the sessions ! She's done everything possible to help him to pass his maths, and regardless of his outcome, I'd recommend her a million times over, as he's made so much progress. Iv practically grown up with this tutor and to say the least she is amazing. She helped me understand anything that I wasn’t sure about and focus on specific topics rather than things that I already know. Also, whenever I message her asking about any work she always responds to me and is willing to help. She has a cute cat too! I would 100% recommend her if your struggling with GCSE maths:).

Nova Read is an amazing teacher who has helped take me from a grade U to nearly passing - hopefully! She is so friendly, encouraging, and supportive. Nova really understands that everyone learns differently and that different people need different approaches to learning. As an older mature student, she has always treated me with kindness and respect, never like a little kid. We’ve had lots of great conversations, and she always makes me feel comfortable and welcome in class. No matter how big or small the achievement is, Nova cheers you on every step of the way. She will happily go over a problem 100 times if needed and never once seems frustrated or annoyed. She explains things in a way that makes challenging topics feel manageable and achievable. My son was with nova from year 5 until year 11 GCSEs. Maths was always my son's weak point but with nova he improved and even passed his maths GCSE. Nova has also become a close friend whilst also being a great tutor.

Nova is an exceptional tutor who teaches with enthusiasm, patience and understanding. Nova tutored my daughter from the beginning of year 11, GCSE final year, where my daughter was achieving maths at just a grade 2. With Novas encouragement and approach to teaching she has installed such confidence in my daughter’s approach to maths that she has just obtained a grade 5 in her GCSE. We could see her improvement week on week and noticed her confidence growing immediately. Nova is absolutely super and we can’t thank her enough. Nova is an excellent tutor with exceptional approach. My daughter struggled with Maths at school but enjoyed her lessons with Nova. Nova helped her discover love for that subject and boost her confidence beyond expectations. Communication with Nova is fantastic and I was informed about progress on a regular basis. Highly recommended teacher not many like her in education system.

Nova was recommended by a friend and she turned out to be the perfect tutor for my son who has always struggled with Maths. She is the only person who has ever been able to teach him Maths, she turned out to be the perfect fit for him and he felt very safe in her company. He started every lesson feeling low about himself and ended every lesson on a high and full of confidence about how far we had come. It was a joy to see and my only regret was not having met her earlier.

Nova was recommended to me by a family member who’s daughter was struggling with maths, my daughter was also struggling and so back in 2020 she started tutor session, my daughters confidence increased and she passed her maths GCSE. As the sessions had been so productive my son then started sessions with Nova. He has just taken his GCSE’s he felt much more confident during the exams with having the weekly tutor sessions and progressed well. Thanks Nova.

Nova was highly recommended to us. My son struggled with his learning technique at school in the middle of his final year at secondary school. Nova had an excellent way in teaching my son to grasp the basic way of engaging and remembering ways of remembering how to work out. By the end of the summer working towards his GCSE he was a different pupil he had overcome his anxiety issues and became more confident. It was so rewarding to see what a fantastic tutor Nova is and would 100% highly recommend her she is absolutely brilliant at her job.

I found Nova by chance when looking for a maths tutor for my daughter at GCSE. Nova had come highly recommended on a Facebook post I stumbled across so I made contact and so glad I did! Nova is friendly and approachable and was able to explain topics with ease so my daughter understood what she had struggled with at school. The difference in my daughter’s confidence in the exam and her grade was remarkable after only going to Nova for around 10 sessions! I will definitely use again for my younger daughter if needed and I highly recommend Nova for maths tuition.

Our daughter initially got a grade 3 in Maths in summer. We decided on private tuition for her resit and used Nova for about 10 - 12 sessions and our daughter happily sailed through her resit. Nova came recommended to us back in April 2023. Our daughter needed additional support with her maths and lacked confidence in her ability. Nova provided that support in abundance, she is so caring, passionate, patient and knowledgable. She went beyond the role of just a tutor and actually became a friend to our daughter. Our daughter lacked confidence and Nova bought it out of her and taught her so much that she hadn’t been taught. She went from a grade1 to passing her GCSE at grade 4 in the space of a year. Nova was recommended to me when my daughter was struggling with her GCSE maths and needed at least a grade 5 for her college course. We were late finding Nova, but I'm so pleased we did. The difference she made was unbelievable, in such a short space of time. She really built my daughters confidence and explained things so simply that everything just suddenly clicked for my daughter and she began really enjoying maths (a subject she had hated before) she is now predicted 2 grades higher than her mocks and the difference it has made is unbelievable. I would highly recommend Nova - she is so good at what she does and has the loveliest personality, that really puts children at ease. I would not hesitate to use again. I'm so pleased we found her !

So please we found Nova to help Cade with his maths she was so patient with him made him understand the maths he was struggling on to get him prepared for his GCSE. How she broke it down to explain it was brilliant. He loved going for his session. In his hour session he got far more out of them than being at school. Thank you nova ? .

I found Nova for my daughter who was home schooled and about to take her GCSEs. My daughter started with her with no confidence, believing she wasn’t the best at maths, within a few sessions she was nailing her work. She got homework every week which she loved and her confidence by the end was brilliant. She didn’t just get a tutor she got a buddy who brought out the best in her. I cannot recommend Nova enough! My daughter came out of each exam so happy with the work she had done and she can’t wait to share the results with Nova. We miss going to see her every week! She is worth her weight in gold! X.

Great math tutoring from Nova, daughter really got on well with her. Started off with lower level maths due to poor temp teacher at school. Daughter now been able to take the higher maths paper. Gave daughter confidence and expert help and became a great tutor to our daughter over the month's she was with her. Amazing tutor would 100% recommend Nova was one of the first people my daughter contacted after sitting maths exams, that just shows how well they got along. .
