When I inherited my mothers engagement ring I was delighted - It was very thin ring band and when it buckled I was heartbroken. A colleague suggested taking it to Hirschfelds to see if the could repair it, and from the start I was impressed with their service. They measured my finger for new, shank. Both quotes were very reasonable and good service.

Bought my antique ring here to be re-shanked, but multiple problems with the work including scratches on the basket, distortion of milgrain and loss of sapphires. They have tried to rectify, but has taken weeks and some of the damage can not be reversed. Now left with scratches and altered appearance of setting. Very disappointed as work was only requested on the shank, no pre-existing problems with the setting, even though it was 100 years old! Very disappointed and upset, no compensation and no explanation and I am left with a damaged ring.

Recommended for fixing broken jewellery and ring sizing plus all jewellery polishing and rhodium finishing. We come back here for all of our jewellery repair and ring cleaning before we put the jewellery up for sale. They did a great job and give us a very fair price. We have been using their workshop for years.
