Halcyon organised the delivery of our yacht from Greece to Ireland. The skipper and crew were outstanding. We were sent lots of updates along the way and they really looked after her like she was their own. Fabulous service.

I must pass on my thanks and give a glowing recommendation to Halcyon Yacht Deliveries who have just brought my Grenadier back to the UK from the Netherlands. We weren't allowed to fetch her ourselves due to the Dutch and English covid rules, but Halcyon managed to find a dual nationality skipper who could make the crossing. Having never used a delivery firm before I was quite skeptical, especially as our boat is old and quite quirky, but the skipper took two days extra to familiarize himself with the boat (at his cost) and the whole trip went like a dream. The boat was even washed and tidied after 6 months ashore. The price was fantastic. I would definitely use them again. They were half the price of other firms and the quality of the service is second to none.

Great service in setting up and arranging delivery of my new purchase from Southampton to Plymouth. Skipper (Steve) and crew (Edwin) were fantastic in their efforts to deliver, with frequent updates on progress and a thorough run through of their trip when we met up. Two focussed yachtsmen who were keen to discuss my new purchase, how they found her etc and just so enthusiastic and engaging. Happy to recommend.

I contracted Halcyon to help deliver my Lagoon 42 catamaran from Les Sables D”Olonnes to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria thi spast Septmeber/October. I already had some Canadian crew on board so the dynamic could have been a disaster. In fact the opposite was true! We had a magical trip across the Bay and down the Portuguese coast. We did a quick stop in Cascais for fuel and oil changes before setting off once more to The Canaries. Off course there was the usual: dolphins, sunsets and long lazy days of sailing. But what made this trip special was the great camaraderie of the crew: isn’t that always the way. The Halcyon guys were competent and responsible but also a pleasure to be share the time on board with. And thanks to Tim’s culinary skills - and partly due to fresh tuna caught along the way- we ate some of the best food ever. Route: Hamble to Falmouth. Yacht: Hallberg-Rassy 310. It was an absolute pleasure to have Tim and Stef help me sail my new yacht to her new home. They were both extremely professional and careful with the boat and were a delight to have on board (oh, the sailing stories! ). They inspired confidence so much I even enjoyed the solo night watch! Excellent service from initial contact with Halcyon to bidding farewell to ‘skipper and crew’ at Falmouth station, thank you!

I was most impressed by the friendliness, efficiency and professionalism of the skipper and mate during the delivery. They were careful with the boat, while achieving an impressive overall passage time. I would have no hesitation in recommending to others or using again. We are really delighted with the safe delivery of our new Moody 45DS out of the factory in Griefswald, Germany to Hamble, UK. We enjoyed the regular updates, photos and really appreciated the care that was taken. Huge thanks to the fantastic crew who set off in the snow. Halcyon organised the delivery of my Beneteau Oceanis 45 from The Baltic to Hamble in March 2018. The service I received was exemplary: The skipper, Richard Butterworth, was excellent in all aspects - he handled a weather related delay well, kept me up to date throughout and even fixed a few items that required attention. The broker who sold me the boat also had positive feedback commenting that Halcyon were "very professional". Halcyon provided a WhatsApp group which also worked really well with lots of photos shared along the way - it allowed me to feel I was part of the journey even though I couldn’t be there in person. I would have no hesitation to use Halcyon again and would happily recommend you to others.

I contacted Halcyon after being let down by another delivery company on multiple occasions which resulted in me having to keep my boat in Falmouth for the winter. From the very first interaction with Halcyon (via Allie) I knew that I was in good hands this time with a truly professional organisation. 48 hours after signing the agreement with Halcyon, I was assigned a skipper (Rob) and put in direct contact. I had a quick call with Rob to discuss the boat and the passage. What struck me most was Rob's proactive attitude and service based mentality - it was very clear that Halcyon's attitude is to get on with the job in hand and take care of minor on the ground issues rather than make them the problem for a remote based owner. Less than 24 hours after my first contact with Rob, he had been on board the boat and completed pre departure checks; organising fuel and picking up last minute items I had overlooked for the boat. 48 hours after the pre departure inspection, Rob and crew set off and provided me with SMS updates (with photos) of their progress. I wasn't at the arrival port to meet Rob and crew and again Halycon's service shone through - all formalities were taken care of without fuss and when I visited the boat she was cleaner and in better condition than I had ever seen her before. Rob and crew were also very economical with their expenses on the delivery and return travel which was greatly appreciated. Halcyon were very efficient and professional from initial contact to the end of the delivery. I felt my boat was in very good hands and I had regular updates on the progress of the trip. I also felt their service was extremely good value and would not hesitate to seek out their services again as well as recommending them to anyone looking for a professional delivery service.

This is a company that knows what it's doing and does it well. From first contact to delivery was a breeze (sic). The crew provided for the trip from Falmouth to Troon, Skipper David Smith, Peter Surman and Bob Godzicz were exceptionally well qualified (all at least YM Ocean with a Yacht surveyor included…). The boat was so clean and tidy on delivery that one would almost believe a valet service was included. If you want a yacht delivered or advice re sailing this is has got to be the go-to company. My wife and I used Halcyon to do an owner-accompanied delivery from Lymington to La Coruna in Spain aboard our Jeanneau 43ds in August 2016. Our skipper, David Smith and crew, John Ringrose, were great company and highly experienced which gave us confidence in going offshore and through several nights as we crossed Biscay on our journey south. They gave lots of useful advice in advance of the trip, during the passage and have kept in touch afterwards too. I would not hesitate to recommend Halcyon to other yacht owners.

We wanted our boat taken from Fowey, Cornwall to Lagos, Portugal. Halcyon Yachts provided an excellent service. Our allocated skipper, Constantinos Jensen, was well qualified, unfailingly polite and took great care with our boat. He communicated with us every day, keeping us informed of any events on the trip. The boat was clean and tidy on arrival. We would not hesitate to use the services of Constantinos or Halcyon yachts again and would certainly recommend them to anyone with a need for a yacht to be delivered.

Delivery of our Najad 380 to Copenhagen from Falmouth, then 8 weeks later back to Falmouth from Helsinki. On both occasions the delivery was conducted professionally and on time. Mark, the skipper, kept us informed of progress and both deliveries were on time despite some bad weather, particularly on the outbound passage. Our boat was cleaned and left in good condition by the crew, who even managed to make some repairs to the boat on passage. I very much recommend this company.

Our Dockrell 27 was delivered by Louis and his crew from Largs to Jersey. The delivery was very professional, we were kept up to date with the progress of the delivery and the boat was at its destination on time despite some challenging weather and in perfect, clean condition. The people on the next door boat in Jersey commented to us about how impressed they were with the thorough tidying up and cleaning work that the crew did before we arrived.

Excellent team who looked after our yacht beautifully and imparted lots of knowledge to us. On time, on budget and with style.
