Garry's Driving School

Garry was great to learn with, always making you feel comfortable, supporting you for the test and making you learn WHILE you drive, which is something that can’t be said for other instructors. I didn’t pass first time, but Garry was patient with me helping me with my faults, which I overcame with his help! Highly recommended.

Garry helped me pass the test first time! He quickly identified the pbs and helped me to focus on areas I needed improvement. He covered the driving skills, taking me to different type of roads, dual carriage ways to drive in varying speed limits and to the A roads to help build my confidence. I also took the motorway lesson after passing the test. Garry is easy going, brilliant instructor and would definitely recommend.

Great instructor let's you get on with it but at the same time is very informative and helpful passed 1st time with him highly recommend him.

With some solid guidance he teed me up to pass first time, through the issues covid caused he's been very helpful and has managed to make changes to his schedule to accommodate for periods of isolation etc. Has a sense of humour too.

I can’t put into words how greatful I am to Gary. Iv had many instructors in the last 3 years having children in between wasn’t easy but no one managed to touch up what was needed as quickly and professionally like Gary did , he pointed out exactly what my problems was amd why, he easily helped me focus and clean it up . I had couple weeks until my test date before getting intouch with Gary - I wasn’t ready nothing was working and it was all or nothing. I took a risk of changing instructor and chose Gary - it will always be the best decision I ever made. He had me feeling ready for my test in a couple of lessons I was confident and ready ! Something I believed wasn’t possible today I passed my test with tears of joy. ! Best in the business - I’ll be forever great full.

Outstanding instructor, most easy going guy. Patient and appeals to what you need. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who has just started or has experience.

Gary is a great instructor helped me pass and we had a laugh along the way but his service is second to none.

Garry was an excellent driving instructor, incredibly helpful and patient whenever I got confused. Not only did he help me pass my test first time through practice of the test routes, he furthered my driving ability by taking me further afield to Manchester and Liverpool and on many different types of roads. Following my test, he took me on a motorway lesson. This helped boost my confidence on something I was completely unfamiliar with and was a great experience. Thank you for all your help!

With Gary’s help I passed my driving test first time with only 3 minors, Gary made all the lessons enjoyable and really pushed me to the best of my abilities. Not only did he do lessons around Warrington, he also took me further afield to Liverpool and Manchester which all really boosted my confidence and allowed to experience different driving scenarios. Would definitely recommend Gary if you want a fun learning experience and to pass quickly!

Gary worked around my working hours and was always punctual. Gary gave me the app for my theory and used to send me messages asking me was I going on it today which pushed my to learn more. Gary even took me for my theory test. Gary is a joy to me with and makes you feel relaxed at all times. Beautiful car driven and learns your sense and how learns you all the manoeuvres until you are comfortable doing them. I had never driven a car in my life. Gary steered me to feel confident and relaxed when driven. I passed my theory first time and my driven test 1 time with only 1 minor. I would highly recommend Gary to anyone weither its a first time driver or someone who is having difficults with other instructors. Thank you Gary for learning and teaching me. Gary also. Help. After using at least three other instructors and never being put in for my test I came across Garry. With 15 hours booked at convenient times for me around my full time job I passed first time with 2 minors. Garry’s style of teaching was amazing, Letting you learn how to drive not just how to pass. Within the 15 hours I had done journeys across Warrington, Liverpool and Southport. I can not recommend Garry highly enough. If you are feeling like you are not getting anywhere with an instructor or just haven’t found one yet. Stop searching and contact Garry. He will dedicate his hard work and time into you and give you the best possible chance you can have at passing.

Would definitely recommend to others, coming of a couple of fails with a previous instructor Gary really helped in bringing in my confidence back up and got me passed. The drives to Liverpool, Manchester and Blackpool are enjoyable and help you improve so much quicker. He was very patient with me and very easy to get along with and helped with past plus too which I would recommend as well.

As a bit of a worrier I was very nervous about learning to drive but from my first lesson I felt very relaxed with Garry on my 2nd lesson we headed for Blackpool and I honestly enjoyed it and it helped a lot with my confidence, Garry is a brilliant instructor! I have had lessons with a different instructor a few years ago and I hated it but can honestly say Garry makes the lessons fun they go so quickly he tells some amazing story’s and is just a brilliant man. You would be very lucky to have Garry teach you to drive.

Garry made the whole learning to drive experience fun while being calm and motivational. I passed first time and would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants learn to drive on an intensive course, he's the guy for you!
