I was recommended Margaret by a friend as she too had a very positive experience. I’m slightly older than most learner drivers and was very nervous about driving; I’d used a few other instructors locally but nothing ever transpired further than the first few lessons. This time it was different. Margaret took on board how anxious and nervous I was and didn’t try and cure me, she worked with me to build that confidence. I never once dreaded going for my lesson. I finally started seeing that I could drive and before my test (which I didn't rush into) I felt confident that I could do it. Margaret is a very thorough instructor and will challenge you the correct way and will ensure that all areas of driving are covered. I will miss my weekly driving sessions and chats, Margaret really is a remarkable instructor and person but no doubt we will keep in touch. If you are looking for an instructor look no further.

Recommended to me by a friend- it seems this is all too common for Margaret as nobody can say a bad word about her! From what was a somewhat empty New Years resolution has led to a first time pass. Her long business hours meant I was able to fit lessons around my busy schedule and prepared me well for my test. I also very much enjoyed gossiping and eating sweets- but that's purely a bonus. Thank you so much Margaret, would only be a pleasure to get my license taken away so I can do it all again :).

After an unpleasant experience with a previous instructor, I never thought I would find someone as professional and patient as Margaret. Although I pretty much had to start from basics, Margaret helped me to grasp everything I needed to know in order to become a safe, confident driver. You will feel at ease during every lesson and I can guarantee that you will quickly gain confidence even after a bad experience. Driving was definitely an enjoyable process with many laughs. I am pleased to say that I passed my driving test first time! I cannot thank Margaret enough for her endless patience and encouragement. I highly recommend her to anyone!

Margaret has been a fantastic instructor and under her excellent and patient instruction I passed just his week. I was quite a nervous learner, having failed my test 17 years ago and given up back then. When I decided to try again, aged 34, the first instructor I tried was brusque and patronising. Margaret couldn't be more different. She put me at ease straight away and helped me grasp the fundamentals of driving to a very high standard which I always thought I'd never get! Margaret is an expert driver and teacher, with a fantastic first-time pass record. She's also wonderful company with a great sense of humour which is important when you spend time with someone in a car. I can't thank Margaret enough for her encouragement, endless patience and technical expertise. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor, Margaret is very patient and made me feel at ease from the start. Her tuition was very good, she is very knowledgeable and helped a lot to improve my technique. She has a good feel for when students are ready for their test and has an excellent first time pass record (including myself).

Having had a pretty awful experience with my first driving instructor I was incredibly weary to try someone new. A colleague at work recommended Margaret to me re assuring me that I would not be disappointed. From my very first lesson Margaret made me feel completely at ease- the combination of her patience, knowledge and great sense of humour has ensured that I not only passed both theory and practical first time round but that I have in turn made a firm friend. Both my brother in law and his wife have been recommended to Margaret by myself and they are well on their way to becoming confident and sensible drivers in the hands of Margaret. I would highly recommend Margaret especially for those who are nervous learners and perhaps a little unsure of themselves.
