My Valentine day flowers died after 3 days. The bouquet was small but looked more in the box and several layers of cellophane. Despite several promises of replacement flowers after one month nothing has arrived. They claim they don't read their emails daily so don't email about an order it won't turn up. RESPONSE see my emails from this shop they have had the bouquet information for over 3 weeks. Still no flowers 24th March. They have also implied that Paul bought several flowers that week, what were they insinuating. This was sent 4th Mar,and I replied the same day. Dear Karen can you give me your works address and times you work so i have a bouquet delivered to you ASAP.Yours Emma----- Original Message -----To: Sent: Sunday, 3 March, 2013 9:44:45 PMSubject: Re: Finishing Touch Gifts and Flowers: Valentine BouquetDear EmmaThank you for your reply.Paul paid cash for the bouquet the week before Valentines when he ordered them and expained he wanted to collect them but was told you closed at 5pm and then sorted out with work leaving early and collected them just before 5pm on the Day. They were a boxed bouquet with pink roses and red carnations. He wont tell me what he paid but I would guess about £30.A replacement bouquet would be appreciated it would have to be delivered to my work.I trust you can find the order from the information.RegardsKarenSent: Friday, March 01, 2013 12:18 PM Dear Karen and Paul, I am more than happy to reply to Paul your partner who brought your flowers for Valentines. Although you may find it hard to believe that a company does not check its emails for 2 weeks this is the the truth and you are more than welcome to look at the date and time the email from Paul and yourself where opened on our computer email. This is not an email that we use all the time as most of our emails go to.If i may ask was Paul the the gentleman that bought two bouquets from us that week as i still have to establish what the bouquet purchased was? Some times roses do dropped and if you look on the Internet this is not a problem individual to our shop and is no sign of quality but an air lock in the stem. As your partner would know if he has been a customer of ours for some timeas you state in you email, he would know that all it would have taken to sort this problem out is a quick phone call if he could not get in to the shop to sort this out. As you stated if they had been purchased from a supermarket they could have been returned and replacements been offered, this is also true at our shop. If Paul does not finish work until 5pm he or yourself would have been more than welcome to have just called us up explained the problem you where experiencing and we would have deliver replacement flowers to ether his work or to you, not a service that would be offered by a supermarket's ! AS you say he has over the past few years purchased many bouquets from us and knows that this is not usual of our shop as he would not have give us repeat business over the years.I would be more than happy for you to give me the details of you bouquet and the purchase price that i have asked for in the last email so we can look it up in our records so i can rectify this issue with a replacement bouquet.Moreexpand_more
I have bought many items in this shop along with my wedding flowers. The staff are willing to help out with anything they can and are very creative in what they do. I would highly recommend the shop to anyone and the prices are cheaper than most yet quality is exceptional.
Excellent Service, beautiful flowers, tastefully wrapped chocolates every time. I use this Company as I live overseas and I know that the goods my mother receives will be the best. The flower arrangements are always stunning and original. Delivery has been on time. - Very satisfied.
I have always been more than pleased with the flowers and gift items purchased at Finishing Touch Gifts and Flowers, and impressed by flower arrangements that I have ordered from them, as well as the reliability of the delivery. It is always a pleasure too, to be served by the helpful, considerate and cheerful people who work there.
I was very disappointed in the selection and quality of the flowers I received in a bouquet - as a "Thank you" from a friend outside the area - which had the appearance of odd flowers left over from the weekend. Over half the bouquet were chrysanthemums, one sunflower, one gerbera, some spray carnations and some lilies. There was no colour co-ordination and when I rang the lady said, "Well, for the money the lady paid, that was about right for the time of year". My Mother was a florist and would never have sent such a bouquet.
