I was nervous. Sending a £1600 macbook pro through the post, I was nervous. Even though it wasn’t working, however, fears were not warranted. Excellent service, communications, persistance, patience, and returning the laptop in a working condition, even with internal damage, done by another company (1 of two, including OEM - I cant prove which one). Thanks E-fix / Macbook-Repairs, you were really great and really earned your dosh and a positive review! Would not hesitate to recommend or reuse!

Great service, very easy to manage and perfectly repaired screen. Even preserved the stickers that were on the laptop. Was kept informed of progress and always quick to reply.

Having a damaged screen on my MacBook Air M3, 13 inch screen bought 3 months earlier online from Apple site, I took it back to a couple of Apple Stores in London. They both opened it and declared that it was entirely my fault and that they would charge me approx £800 to replace the screen, as although it was well within warranty I had not taken out Apple Care. I objected and told them that the display was poorly designed and not fit for use as it was too fragile. I searched the net for alternative solutions, and eventually found eFix, and called them: £350, 10 days delivery including shipping. Despite favourable reviews, I was reluctant to ship off my £1500 machine to persons unknown, pay £350, and maybe never see it again. I decided that, although they sounds fine on the phone, I would drive it from London to Peterborough, which would hasten the return and let me see their premises. Nothing much to see; unit in industrial estate, but the person at the desk gave me confidence, so I filled in my details and left it with crossed fingers. It was delivered to my local post office a couple of days after I gave them my debit card details. Perfect job, on time. I am a happy bunny!.

I recently sent my MacBook Air to eFix for repairs after spilling tea on the keyboard, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. I’m so glad I went with her suggestions—the improvements were immediately noticeable! The repair was completed and shipped back ahead of the deadline. The MacBook arrived carefully wrapped, and to my surprise, they even included Christmas candy—such a kind and thoughtful touch! Rapid and efficient service.

Fantastic service. Very professional, kind and efficient. Notified of delivery and each step. I had a water-damaged Macbook Pro, no hope from Apple and a suggestion to go for data extraction only. While these guys fixed it all and kept data intact. Also, the MacBook came spotlessly clean, probably cleaner than the new, haha! They've also shared tips on cleaning when inquired. These guys did a great job, communication was A++ but what I found unbelievable was the honesty, they could have charged me for a repair I thought I needed but they insisted there was no need as the issue was unnoticeable. They have earned my trust and respect.

Reece and the team at eFix are simply fantastic. Excellent communication from start to finish - both emails and calls, knowing that without my MacBook, I was stuck with email on my phone only! I was a complete clutz and spilled an entire pint glass of Lucozade over my MacBook…. And it then died…. Wouldn’t charge, sticky keys, it was a mess. They sent out a postage label to me - I wrapped up my MacBook and they confirmed they had received it eject working day. Quickly diagnosed the major issues and got it back up and running, replaced the full logic board, some keys too as well as a USB-C port which wasn’t working properly beforehand and was showing signs of corrosion. Arrived back today and in better order than before the spill…absolutely spot on…. And a fraction of the price of a replacement. Honestly could not be better…. Very pleased with the service and screen replacement by E-Fix Ltd after my dog ran across my laptop that I had stupidly put on the floor for a moment, in his excitement to get to the postman at the front door! My MacBook is over 3 years old so Apple didn't want to repair. Found this company online and thanks to reviews from others I decided to give them a go. Found Reece's advice, email communications and tracking service to be excellent. Plus laptop fixed for a reasonable price. Very happy to recommend this great independent business.

Heavily water damaged MacBook repair review. Daughter successfully knocked an entire tumbler of water on her MacBook. It was Kaput! General consensus online was that it was probably un-fixable. My local computer repair chap said the same. Then I stumbled across E-Fix MacBook repairs. Not only confident it was probably repairable, but also backed up their claim by completely fixing my daughters MacBook and confident enough in their work to back it up with a 12 month guarantee. Water damaged MacBook? These are the guys. Also don’t charge if they can’t fix it. 5 Stars and a thumbs up from me.

I sent my MacBook in for water-damage repair. Their email replies to my questions were very informative and prompt. The repair was completed and shipped back within a week. The delivery package was well-protected and even included some candies :).

I had a Flexgate fault on my 2016 MacBook Pro. Repair done quickly and for a good price. They also identified my ailing battery with only 60% life so a new battery was fitted at the same time, again for a very good price. No charge for sending or for the return of my MacBook. Great communication and quick response to any questions. Excellent service.

Very pleased with service received from MacBook-Repairs. My Macbook pro 2020 was constantly crashing approx. Every 2 mins. Was quoted around £470 to repair at apple store. Macbook-Repairs diagnosed problem was with the touchbar and cost to repair was £250. Shipment there and back was tracked and covered by them. They contacted me to let me know they received my laptop and kept me informed throughout the process. Must confess I was initially hesitant to send it off having never dealt with them before, but needn't have worried. Highly recommended.

Great comms at every stage of the process. Clear, fair pricing structure. Fixed multiple issues with my MacBook which I thought were terminal. Postage of MacBook wasn’t a problem at all.
