Landscaping works consisting of retaining walls (clad in wood); stone-filled gabion baskets; raised beds made from railway sleepers; steps made from sleepers and gravel; balustrade made from wood and strengthen wire; concrete base for new shed, plus associated drainage works. Very, very impressed with the quality of Dan's work. We were badly let down by our original landscaper (who effectively 'did a runner' halfway through the job). Dan was recommended to us by friends who live locally and we are so fortunate to have received the recommendation. Dan started the job at the beginning of January in truly horrid weather conditions with a mix of hard frosts; snow and significant rainfall - we really felt for him, but he didn't complain, he just got on with doing the job. His attention to detail is second to none; he has a good eye for design and was able to come up with practical and effective solutions for problems that had been caused by the previous landscaper's actions. We will definitely use him again - cannot recommend him highly enough!
