Been with Paul for just over 2 years and finally passed (no fault of his). Cannot fault him, he is patient, kind and teaches in an understanding way! Would highly recommend.

Paul is a very good driving instructor, he is very calm and teaches you how to drive safely. He enabled me to build my confidence on the roads and with parking. I passed first time with only 3 minors thanks to his methodical approach to teaching how to drive. Would definitely recommend to anybody who is wanting to learn. His prices are good and is an excellent teacher.

Paul is a fantastic instructor and I would highly recommend him. He is patient, professional,explain everything in detail and do not mind repeating if you do not understand. I decided I wanted to drive late in life and Paul was very patient and understanding as it took me a while to learn everything. Always set my lesson times when it suited my work schedule and I am sure this is not an easy task with all his other students! I was most probably not his easiest student to teach but this did not deter Paul and thanks to him I am now the proud owner of a full driving licence! Keep up the good work Paul!

Passed my driving test first time today! Big thank you to Paul, who is such an good driving instructor. Patient, professional, friendly and punctual ! During the 9 months of me learning, he was very helpful and competent on each lesson. I was an anxious and a slow learner but he made the whole experience easy and exciting. The driving instructor for Driving Passion (Paul) is a great and professional teacher, capable of putting your mind at ease and stepping in when needed to keep you out of trouble. He also works a timetable around what is best for you and your times and doesn't charge you if you cancel due to illness or other issues. Paul is the best driving instructor you could eve ask for. He is a laid back, funny and just such a great man. He really puts you at ease when driving and explains everything perfectly Coming up to my test I was really nervous He helped put me at ease and helped me pass my test by doing so. After doing some research into driving instructors in Preston, I came across Paul's website and was impressed by his competitive prices and the number of positive reviews he had. Paul is a down to earth, laid-back guy who is both funny and easy to talk to. But more importantly, Paul is a brilliant driving instructor. He is patient and understanding, never shouts, and will take the time to explain things fully and answer any questions you may have. He can provide helpful learning resources and will equip you with all the knowledge and skills you'll need to pass your Theory, Hazard Perception and Practical Driving Tests. Under Paul's tutelage, I was able to pass my Practical Test on the second try with only 3 minors. The first attempt failed only because I messed up; panicked and made the wrong decision on something that we had covered in my lessons countless times. At no point did Paul make me feel bad about that mistake; we simply talked through what had gone wrong, he reassured and encouraged me and we practiced, practiced, practiced! Since passing my test, I have gone on to complete my Pass Plus with Paul which was a great experience that taught me new skills such as driving on the motorway and the dreaded multi-story car parks!Through Paul, I now feel much more knowledgeable, safer and confident with my driving and I highly recommend him to anyone thinking of learning to drive. Paul Higson (AKA Driving Passion) is a great driving instructor. During my time with Paul every lesson was clearly outlined and every second maximised to build experience and confidence behind the wheel. He always took the time to explain the logical processes behind driving, sometimes fleshing it out with the rather and somewhat helpful technical side to things - only serving to increase the student's understanding of their actions further. One of Paul's stand out points is his flexibility, which suited both my working hours and holidays. I never felt rushed into taking the theory or practical test, and was guided to so when I was ready - in which I was, as after a few months with Driving Passion I passed first time! Thus with driving lessons becoming more and more expensive nowadays, Driving Passion is definitely one of the cheapest whilst, most importantly, not compromising on quality of service. On this basis I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of taking lessons with Paul. Thanks again :).

Absolutely top driving instructor! Couldn't ask for a better instructor to guide me through my lessons and give me the confidence to pass my test. Makes the most out of every lesson and pushes you to your best potential! Completely puts you at ease in the car and makes everything so simple. Cannot say anything but positive things about Paul! Paul is an excellent driving instructer anyone who is wanting to learn I wouid highly recommend he is very pateint gentle guy with a good sence of humour He managed to explain and run through things at a pace that suited me he is full of good tip and advice.
