Dominie’s Driving School

Dominie is a very patient and professional instructor. I was quite anxious about driving and not at all confident in my ability, but she put me at ease and worked with me to build my confidence and prepare me for the test. She never lost patience and was always easy to have an honest conversation with about which aspects of driving needed more practice. She was flexible with arranging lessons around existing commitments and ever helpful when answering any questions I had about driving, the rules of the road, and what to expect on the test, which, thanks to her, I passed with only three minors. I thoroughly recommend her!

I had an amazing experience learning to drive with Dominie! From the very first lesson, they were calm, patient, and incredibly supportive. They explained everything clearly and always made me feel at ease behind the wheel, even when I was nervous. What I appreciated most was their ability to stay positive and encouraging, while still being honest and helping me improve each lesson. Genuinely amazing, it's been the best learning from Dominie as she is very informative, calm and helpful. We are not from the local area and found Dominie’s Driving School through an online search to prepare our daughter for a test in Ipswich. During the two lessons we booked, Dominie introduced her to anything she might experience in the test that required local knowledge, such as unusual junctions, double roundabouts, spiral roundabouts and changing speed limits, along with providing useful videos to look at together at home. Dominie was flexible with timings, punctual, but most importantly to us, incredibly kind, funny and patient. She really helped our daughter overcome her nerves enabling her to pass first time. Dominie made me feel comfortable and calm. She is great at explaining exactly what you need to do, whilst being patient and flexible. Dominie helped clear a lot of my confusion by showing me multiple ways of doing things and learning what is best for me. I wouldn't have passed first time and without minors without her.
