Denzels Dog Training based in central Lincoln provides private and professional in-home training packages tailored to you and your dog's needs. I help you resolve reactivity, problem behaviours, and guide you through adolescent mayhem. My effective, humane, firm but fair, approach coaches you in handling skills and confidence that enable you to achieve the outcomes you want.

I offer one-to-one dog training and owner coaching in your home and neighbourhood for: Recall Training, Loose Lead Walking, Puppy and Adolescent Dog Training, Dog Reactivity, Barking and Jumping Up, Puppy Biting.

I also provide in-home consultations for dogs with behavioural issues, such as: dog reactivity, resource guarding, excessive barking, multi-dog households, and separation distress. Programme packages for problem behaviours start at 5 sessions with ongoing Whatsapp support, session videos and weekly video calls. No quick fixes here - if you want real change, I can help.

Hi, I'm Anna, founder of Denzel's Dog Training. I spent many years in higher education and was a Senior Lecturer in Theatre before retraining as a dog trainer. I specialise in helping owners navigate one of the most difficult issues in dog ownership: reactivity. I named my business after my own rescue Staffy, Denzel. When I first adopted him, he was reactive and challenging to handle at times. Through patience, clear communication and consistent training, he became the wonderful companion he is now.

Today, I help owners move from frustration and uncertainty to confidence and calm, using practical training that makes sense to both dogs and humans in single and multi-dog households. I am Guild of Dog Trainers Professional Instructor and hold further certifications from the British College of Canine Studies.
