Passed my test first time and wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of Dave! Dave gave me excellent guidance for driving and gave me great advice and techniques to improve. Couldn’t of asked for a better instructor and also had great banter in the lessons.

To start off I still can't believe he did the impossible and got me passed (first time). Especially with the manouvers but daves great teaching points and patience with me helped me through it and I found it easy to pick up and I would highly reccomend Dave as your instrutor because he made my expirence enjoyable! Thanks again Dave!

So passed my driving test first time yest and credit goes to dave. His ways of teaching make it easy to understand and pick up. The techniques he teaches and way of showing you just makes it easy. Funny, easy going, patient and makes you feel at ease. Never even got annoyed when nearly totaling his car on a slip road. Maybe just hiding it well haha. Nah had a few instructors but dave tops it all and recommend 110% if anyone is thinking of lessons. You won't be disappointed. Cheers dave. Dave is a fantastic instructor, thanks to him and his great driving techniques, I passed first time. Dave is very patient and an easy going guy. He picks out your weaknesses and keeps working with you until you get them spot on. I would highly recommend Dave for anyone looking for a decent instructor and a decent guy.

Dave is an amazing driving instuctor and cannot rate him highly enough. Driving lessons were tailored to my individual needs, also offering lesson times around my work commitments and childcare. He is easy going, calm, supportive, knowledgable and has exceptional patience. Explains everything in a clear and easy to understand way, ensuring I had all the tools I needed to drive independently even during the busiest times in the most built up areas. I was extremely anxious regarding all aspects of driving but passed first time with Dave.

Passed first time thanks to Dave, he is a really good instructor who is down to earth and easy going. He is a superb teacher who is highly knowledgeable on all aspects of driving and explains everything very clearly and calmly. 100% recommend.

After Dave passing my boyfriend and all of his friends and mine, I knew he was the right choice for me! Absolutely loved learning to drive with Dave! He teaches the skills and knowledge needed with persistence and patience, anything that I wasn't great at was focussed on until I became confident doing it. I would highly recommend taking lessons with Dave as he teaches you all the skills required to get you through your test - as I managed to pass first time. He is also very patient if you're quite an anxious driver at first and gradually builds up your confidence in yourself and your abilities. He is helpful in his teaching methods in that at the beginning, your progress is monitored and each lesson is tailored to a new skill helping you understand how you are doing, eventually in lessons letting you practice what you find difficult the most so you are comfortable with it. Dave Thoms School of motoring is an excellent choice to go for as he truly offers quality combined with value. During three month of driving with Dave I learned not just to pass first time but to drive confidently by myself after passing. Dave has good local knowledge which allowed my lessons to be done with ease and comfort; he explained my mistakes using different techniques which he altered to my level of understanding. He balanced corrections with praise of my achievements which made me feel like I was progressing well. Punctual and reliable, always made an effort to contact when late due to unforeseeable circumstances. Dave is friendly and patient but is also firm at resolving driving related issues. I would definitely recommend Daves Thom’s School of motoring.

I would DEFINITELY recommend Dave Thoms if you're looking for a driving instructor. He is so friendly and easygoing, and makes you feel completely at ease behind the wheel. He ensures that you are comfortable with each part of driving before moving onto a new stage, and is always willing to focus on specific areas that you may be having troubles with, working each lesson around you. Always able to fit driving lessons around your schedule and extremely good value for money. An all round great guy and would recommend without a shadow of a doubt! Thank you Dave!

Fantastic instructor and such a good car to learn in, works around other commitments like holidays, work, hobbies etc, but allowing you to pass comfortably and quickly, I definitely recommend Dave as he helped both myself and my brother pass first time, and one of the cheaper instructors out there, Good value for money as his pass rate is good, Thanks again Dave for getting me through my test, all the best to others, see you on the road in no time!

I would highly recommend dave thoms if your looking for a driving instuctor. He is a friendly guy that will teach you everything you need to know to become a confident driver. I would have never passed first time niether would have my partner if it wasn't for dave. He will explain everything in a way anyone will understand and is teaching technique is brilliant you are able to have a great laugh while learning with dave and to me thats what a good instructor should be like so if any doubt who to take lessons with the dave is your man.

His instructor skills are excellent and is able to teach you personally so solve your own faults and weaknesses. Moreover his style of teaching removes all the guess work, which if your like myself and have had previous instructors you will be happy to know there's no more angles and invisible clock faces.
