Dave’s a top man! He’s open and honest with you and says what needs to be said, which I didn’t like at first but began to realise that I needed to take more responsibility for my OWN actions. His teaching style is very good for people who are willing to learn thoroughly. He persevered with me for a long time, and appreciated that learning to drive a car isn’t so easy for everyone. But in the end we got there and I passed my test, so I am very grateful. I would definitely recommend Dave as an instructor, plus the statistics don’t lie! Thank you Dave I will miss you.

Dave taught my son (Charlie) to drive and ultimately pass his test at the first attempt! Dave applies a thorough and methodical approach to teaching that steadily builds knowledge and confidence in his students. If you are looking for a driving instructor I would 100% recommend him.

Dave is a smart choice when it comes to picking an instructor. His ability to adapt his teaching style to my learning style made me saw my driving skill go further than I believed possible. I found that he has a perfect balance between gentle criticism and praise when needed, which improved my confidence massively and helped me ultimately get my pass certificate. Dave has been an amazing instructor for me. He has helped me understand the rules of the road and helped me build confidence while driving. Dave provides valuable feedback throughout the lesson through watching back pieces of driving and guiding you through everything that you could have done better. This has ultimately led to me being aware of my weaker areas and knowing what I had to practice to be a better and smarter driver. Would 100% recommend.

Started learning to drive at uni this year - and found that Dave was the highest rated driving instructor in the area. Booked lessons with him after that, weekly, and can confidently say that Dave lived up to this expectation and then some. Gentle, however encouraging teaching style allows you to learn, but also have the space to be pushed out of your comfort zone, essential for learning to drive.

We found Dave when my daughter was learning. We had been through two other instructors with limited success. It seemed that they wanted to coach you to pass the test rather than to learn to drive AND pass the test. Dave was a breath of fresh air. His approach is thorough and professional and he really does teach the learners how to drive. Since meeting Dave my daughter passed first time with minimal faults and my son passed today with zero faults which the examiner told us is very rare. I put all that down to Dave's coaching and cajoling and the way he approaches what he does. If you are looking for someone who will make you (or your kids if they are learning) a better driver then look no further than Dave Hall.

Dave has been a brilliant instructor. He has been really kind, patient and supportive throughout my journey learning to drive. Dave enabled me to watch replays of my driving and he talked me through my mistakes to help me learn from them. He really was a great instructor for me!

I have been having driving lessons with Dave since April, from the very beginning he has held me to a high standard of driving whilst being patient and kind with manoeuvres, I didn’t pick up on straight away. As a parent of a teenager learning to drive choosing an instructor can be difficult. If you're that parent, reading this, Ican put your mind at rest. Dave is a highly trained, patient and thorough instructor. Always on hand to offer help for the learner and the parent to get the most out of his instruction and overall learning journey for each student. I have already put our daughter on his waiting list to start learning with Dave next year! Honest, straightforward teaching. Highly recommended .

Dave Hall is a fabulous driving instructor who takes genuine care and compassion for his pupils beyond his role as a driving instructor.
