I’m writing this review as I feel it is a testament to the infamous quote by Franklin D. Roosevelt “Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough. ” I would firstly like to state this review is to shine the light on two exceptional ladies who represented me and have helped me to acquire my legal status in the UK after 15 years of being an undocumented immigrant. Rachel Knight and Jasmine Doust have done what various lawyers and firms assured me was an impossible job, for this I am forever grateful. I met Rachel Knight in the summer of 2018 through a friend and associate called Mykal, I was 27 and had lived in the UK for 13 years undocumented; unable to get into further education, have a job or really start my life. The first conversation I had with her, I explained that I was brought her under a visiting visa and had overstayed as per my mother's guidance. This led to a series of unsuccessful family applications and numerous deportation orders and notices from the home office. Rachel was honest with me about my chances but also steadfast that she would fight for me to ensure I get my papers and start my life. For the remainder of 2018 she gave me a series of tasks to complete; from requesting a subject access request to acquire all my documents to getting over 15 references from close friends and associates, in order to make my application with the home office. By February 2019 I had collected most of the essential documents needed to create a compelling case. By April 2019, under Rachel (and later Jasmine’s guidance) I had completed all my tasks and was able to send a substantial bundle to both solicitors. Countless hours of hard work from both Jasmine and Rachel saw that my application was ready to submit in June 2019. At this time I had just left an abusive relationship and was now expecting my first child. Faced with much uncertainty and a strong desire to acquire my status for the sake of being able to provide for my unborn child, Rachel and Jasmine not only counselled me on my case but also on other options. In October 2019 after 4 months of waiting, the home office granted me my stay and I was relieved and excited. This led me to finally flee the property of my abusive ex and find solace in a safe haven and start to plan for my child’s arrival. After 2 months of planning and delayed responses from the home office as I had not received neither my BRP or my passport; The home office sent a refusal letter to my legal representatives. Immediately, Rachel and Jasmine were on the case, going far beyond the acquired times to ensure that the home office rescinded their refusal and reinstated my grant. This included both ladies working pro bono and even finding a barrister to work pro-Bono. As the temporary accommodation I was staying in could no longer have me there as my status had been rescinded, both ladies had a meeting with their senior partners to find other accommodation for me, to ensure my unborn child and I were not homeless. After 30 days of what seemed to be a lifetime battle, the home office withdrew the refusal and reinstated my grant. As I received the news, immediately broke down into tears and began to thank Rachel and Jasmine for everything - they had worked tirelessly for me beyond the point of their legal remits to ensure that my unborn child and I were not made homeless or suffered as a result of the home office error. Beyond that, the home office has stated I am eligible for compensation, all further testament to the hard work of Rachel and Jasmine. I sit here today 34 weeks pregnant with my BRP and legal grant letter; and most importantly with a heart full of hope that my child and I can start our journey together with peace. I plan on bringing my child to the Curzon Green once he is born because if not for the work of Jasmine and Rachel, I would have brought him into this world facing much uncertainty. Their hard work has helped me to break what felt like a generational curse and I am forever grateful. As a means of showing my gratitude I bought a cake for both ladies as it is the least I could do for them changing my life .Moreexpand_more

I used this firm when I had an employment issue which regrettably needed resolving legally. They were quite simply brilliant and I have recommended them to family and friends since.
