About Cullompton Walronds Preservation Trust
The Walronds is a recently restored Tudor family home dating from the middle of the sixteenth century and rebuilt in 1605 after a devastating fire which destroyed the greater part of the building. Part of the original building remains but that part is now used as a fully up to date commercial kitchen.
The upper two floors are in use as rental accommodation.
The three rooms and kitchen on the ground floor are available for rental, either, individually or as a whole, for a wide range of community events.
The ground floor is available for community use and is suitable for arts, crafts and antiques fayres, wedding receptions, conferences, meetings, workshops, health and fitness classes and pop-up restaurants supported by a fully commercial kitchen.
The house is located on the main street (Fore Street) in Cullompton which has a good selection of independent traders. There are also two supermarkets nearby.
Cullompton Walronds Preservation Trust, the owners of The Walronds, is a registered charity.
