The Consulting Room™ website was launched in May 2003 and it is now among the most comprehensive aesthetic information resources in the UK.

It provides accurate and unbiased information on surgical and non-surgical cosmetic treatments, hair loss treatments, cosmetic dentistry and laser eye surgery currently available in the UK, combined with a directory of UK and Ireland based clinics.

All clinics within their database are checked for compliance with the Care Quality Commission registration (where required for England), the Healthcare Inspectorate Wales, Healthcare Improvment Scotland and other regional regulators.

We have won various awards over the years including the award for Best Patient Information Website at the Aesthetic Medicine Awards in 2008. A Highly Commended award from the MyFaceMyBody Awards for Best Online Information Resource and our Editor was also Highly Commended in the award for Best Beauty Blogger in 2013.
