Codeguard Security Ltd has designed and built high-security scramble keypads in Cambridgeshire since 1995. Our patented technology answers a weakness that every ordinary PIN pad shares: because the numbers sit in the same place every time, anyone who can see the keypad can work out the code. We supply direct to end users and to installers and integrators worldwide.

Press the star key and the Codeguard SERlll assigns its ten digits to the physical keys at random, generating a fresh arrangement for that entry alone. Someone watching over a shoulder, or reviewing CCTV footage afterwards, can see which keys were touched but has no way of knowing which numbers those keys were carrying at the time. Nothing needs installing and nothing needs configuring, because the defence is part of the unit itself.

The SERlll comes with either Wiegand 26-bit output, which almost every access control panel will accept, or RS232 for connecting straight to a PC or server, and in grey or black. Surface, stainless and panel mounting kits are available alongside the SLC-1 single door controller and its 3A power supply. Units are sealed to IP65, rated from -20C to +60C, and hold CE, FCC, ISO 9001, RoHS and WEEE approval. Our keypads are in service at airports, banks, courtrooms, military sites, hospitals, railway premises and data centres.
