Chilled Driving Tuition

The help Chilled gave was spectacular. They built my confidence on the roads while remaining safe, and were very professional. Huge thank you to James, was great fun to be instructed by him.

Passed my test today with chilled and can’t thank James enough for this! As someone who didn’t have much confidence and was a very nervous driver, james was reassuring and helped manage those nerve. He made the lessons funny and enjoyable, I looked forward to my lessons each week. Thank you again James!

Jack helped me pass first time, he is such a patient and supportive instructor. Despite my constant anxiety at the start I had the best reassurance which lead to me finally believing I could drive. Highly recommended :)).

I was very nervous but Jack O'connell was great he put me at ease after the first lesson and continued to be patience and helped me gain confidence to pass first time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn. Chloe.

Passed my test today, all thanks to Chilled but especially my instructor Steve M who was proficient in teaching, and made it fun aswell worked well around my work schedule (9-5) and weekends. What a year! I passed my test this week with 0 minors first time after learning with Sam. And boy did he earn his money. I’m a naturally anxious person and Sam made me feel supported and adjusted his teaching to match my more “emotional” moments. From me getting in the car each time and announcing I’d forgotten how to drive, to crying through some lessons due to ridiculous things going on in my personal life, to laughing my way through all my lessons. I never thought I’d pass and having my licence means I can finally go and watch my boys play football and do the food shop! I cannot recommend Chilled enough. If they can get this 44 year old ridiculous woman through to pass (did I mention 0 minors? ! ) then they can teach anyone. Thanks for the great year Sam…. Avoid Steven Murphy. Had a 55 intensive over 2 weeks from 0 experience before hand, which went reasonably well. Prior to Test I had a Mock test where I got 4 minors and 1 serious for parking. Steve refused to allow me to do the actual driving test that was all ready booked and paid for the following day. This wasn't based on the results of the mock but on a 10+ intensive driving hours previous(20% off my course time) miniature mock. Steven didn't even get in contact after the mock to discuss or go through things, so I was left confused and unsure what to do next. I believe this is also partly due to chilled wanting to appear to have a higher pass rate on their tests. Shame on chilled and doubly so on Steve Murphy for poor proffesionalism.

Passed first time with no minors after a 30hr intensive course, all thanks to Steve Brooks. Great instructor and great guy, very calm, patient and friendly. If you go with chilled I highly advise you to see if Steve B is available! Cheers again Steve.

Steve B is an amazing driving instructor. I did an intensive course with him and he was so patient, reassuring, and clear with his teaching. He helped me feel at ease immediately, and he was great at breaking down manoeuvres step-by-step so they actually felt manageable. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor, I highly recommend Steve B!

I learned with James and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Extremely personable and cares a lot about your progress, overall learning to drive with Chilled was extremely smooth and you feel supported right up to test day.

Chilled Driving was straightforward and professional, quickly connecting me with an appropriate instructor and, much later, arranging a mock test (I wanted to learn automatic). My instructor - Danny Meier - was patient and reassuring from the start, was always flexible around my own schedule and never rushed into unnecessary lessons. His ninety-minute lessons, along with his supportive restructuring after an initial test failure, were key to rebuilding my confidence and helping me pass later. I would wholeheartedly recommend Danny to anyone looking for a fair, supportive instructor who is genuinely invested in helping learners become confident, conscientious, and safe drivers.

Steve B was amazing. Patient, experienced and clearly very knowledgeable. My son was test ready following his 10 day intensive driving course, passing his test first time 30 days after his 17th birthday. Highly recommended!

I had an intensive course to prep quickly for my second test. Over only about a month and a half's worth of lessons, my instructor James F brought me up to a proper standard. He was calm, patient, always friendly and helpful, with a lot of fantastic knowledge and easy-to-learn techniques. I was able to learn the test routes around Norwich in a pretty short space of time. Arranging the lessons with Chilled was easy, and adding in extra with James when needed was also no stress. In the end, I passed my test with only 2 minors. And it isn't just about being good enough to simply pass the test -- I'm now a much, much better driver for having gone with James and Chilled Driving.

Jack was a patient and calm instructor. He explained everything brilliantly and was always happy to go over things that I was unsure of. Overall a brilliant instructor. Passed first time.

Sam was literally the best instructor I’ve had and was 10/10 on everything from teaching to overall attitude day to day. Highly recommend.

I passed my practical test, thank you Chilled Driving! I had weekly lessons with Sam on an automatic car, over 30 sessions. He was patient, trying to help whenever I made mistakes and offering feedback when required. He was willing to hear my thoughts. Shaun offered constructive feedback on my mock test. Both Sam and Shaun helped me improve and be test ready. Might be worth to try Chilled Driving, they have a structured lesson. But, I recommend you do extra independent learning outside the lessons as well.
