Chilled Driving Tuition

I appreciate the time and patience the the company and I’ve passed my driving test and all the thanks to (Shaun P) and I’ll definitely go back and if my friends were looking for a great company.

Driving has always been challenging for me. I'm not co-ordinated, nor a fast learner and certainly not confident. But Chilled and more specifically my driving instructor Sam has done right by me at every turn (literally). From familiarising myself with the driving seat and the controls, to learning MSPSL, to sitting the theory test, to city driving, to country roads, to dual carriageways, to the practical test and then to resitting the practical test after I failed the first time (Nerves). I've been supported based on how I learn best. Always. I've received help developing my own methods for parallel, reverse and forward parking. I've never been critiqued or made to feel bad for asking a question. I've received endless patience when making errors and strong advice so that I don't repeat them. It goes without saying but learning to drive is costly. The amount of time, money and effort that goes into learning ALONE is immense, let alone all the costs that come after and it can create a lot of pressure. So I think it's always hard finding the right driving school or instructor for any individual. But… As an anxious learner, who didn't have opportunities for private practice, who struggled and failed his first test due to nerves. I assure you that Chilled can get you to where you want to be, no matter your skill level or what you think of yourself. More importantly than that, they can make sure that your driving lessons are a good, positive experience and not something you come to lament even once you've passed. And if you happen to get Sam as your instructor, rest assured that you've hit the jackpot. Great choice to learn to drive. Instructors (Steve B) are friendly. Would recommend chilled.

I did an intensive with Will M and Martyn, both were very friendly and guided me through everything to make it feel easy, I also found the mock test with Sean made me feel much more confident ahead of my test, which I passed with 0 minors! Thanks to everyone at chilled, I can’t recommend them enough :).

I had lessons with Will M for about two years before I finally passed my driving test. Will M has been completely understanding of my issues with executive functioning and found a way to teach me that truly worked for me. Previously, I had struggled to learn to drive and thought I would never be able to drive a manual car due to being dyspraxic. I am so glad to have had Will M as my instructor and mentor. We’ve had good lessons and bad lessons, but through it all, Will M has been there for me. He made me a promise that he would stay with me until I finally passed my test, and he came through. I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Chilled and with having Will M as my instructor. I will genuinely look back on my lessons with fondness and will be forever grateful to Will M for giving me the chance to learn to drive. I know I talked your ear off and we had plenty of laughs during our lessons, but you really helped me achieve my dream of becoming a full licence holder. Highly recommend! Chilled really showed up for me after being let down by other driving schools previously. Not only were they super lovely and comforting, but they feel like one big family who are all doing their absolute best to support your success! Great team, Lovely atmosphere, Skilled instructors. I learnt with Will, Shaun, and Graham and I passed with 0 faults. Worth every penny!

I would like to say a big thank you to Dan and Shaun who where 2 of the most chilled/patient people I’ve met, found this company very easy to learn with and would highly recommend for people learning to drive thank you chilled.

I passed my test today after my intensive manual lessons with Will M. He’s a great instructor and I don’t think I would have made it without him! I highly recommend Chilled driving tuition to other learners.

Sam was a grear driving instructor. He was relaxed and calm to help ease my nerves whilst also being supportive and not letting my mistakes get the better of me. I was incredibly nervous to start driving lessons and put it off for ages, but it turns out I couldn't have had a better instructor. He's great at what he does - as proven by the fact I passed first time. I couldn't recommend him more. I also had Lisa do my mock, who was also lovely and very complimentary!

I recently passed my test first time thanks to the wisdom and patience of my instructor, Will M. I started off with no experience and I was quite nervous, but over the course of my lessons I have become a more confident and capable driver. The booking process was also very straightforward. Many thanks to Will and everyone at Chilled!

I passed my test first time( many thanks to Will m, Martyn and Paul) all 3 were excellent teachers and helped my confidence so much. Before chilled I had tried multiplied driving company’s and always felt nervous and too scared to drive, after having my first lesson I felt more than comfortable. I would highly recommend one of these instructors they really all were amazing.

Super friendly instructors, gave great helpful feedback and instructions throughout lessons, all round very good service. Mock test and Test sorted promptly. Big up Paul!

When I first sat in the driver's seat I felt nervous, but that quickly changed with Chilled. Excellent service, support and guidance. My instructor Sam clearly took time to understand what I needed and was always patient. Which lead to my first time pass!

Attended a young drivers experience, learnt lots in the hour and was instructed greatly by Paul A, making the experience a good time and learning opportunity overall!

I have recently passed my test all thanks to Will M! He is a fantastic instructor who is very calm and gives very clear instructions. He has taught me everything I need to know about driving and is always there for a laugh along the way. I passed my test today! Marco, my driving instructor for my intensive course, was absolutely amazing. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without him. He was really patient with me and explained things that I found difficult very well and always wanted to find a solution to the problem, which gave me confidence whilst I was driving.

I had automatic lessons with Sam. We covered every aspect needed to pass my test. And yesterday I passed first time with zero faults. Which is all down to how Sam taught me. He made me feel comfortable and was always there when I needed reassurance. I also met Lisa who carried out my mock test who was lovely and made me feel at ease. On pulling into the test center another chilled instructor also wished me luck. I think it just shows how lovely the chilled team are!

Cannot fault the staff at chilled, I had Paul who done my intensive course and he was absolutely amazing, did an amazing job at getting me ready for my test and passed, learnt so much from him.
