Chilled Driving Tuition

I had Paul A as my chilled young drivers instructor and he was great, very funny and made you feel relaxed which is definitely needed when learning to drive! Would extremely recommend him and Chilled, the whole experience was very enjoyable!

I highly recommend Steve Murphy as a driving instructor! He was patient, supportive, and helped me build my confidence behind the wheel. He guided me through the things I found challenging and helped me feel more comfortable and prepared for my driving test. Thanks to his guidance and support, I passed my driving test first time. Thank you, Steve, for all your help, patience, and encouragement. I really appreciate everything you’ve taught me and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor!

We honestly couldn’t recommend Chilled Driving Tuition enough! We first contacted them about booking an intensive driving course for our son and from the very first phone call the staff were so friendly and helpful. They talked us through the different options and advised us on what they felt would be the best course for him. Before his intensive course began he attended one of their Young Driver Experience Days, which was brilliant and something we would highly recommend to any young driver. He absolutely loved it! The whole day was incredibly well organised from start to finish, with an amazing setup, lovely staff and delicious food and refreshments available on site. While we were there we were also introduced to Martyn, as we already knew he would be our son’s instructor for his intensive course, which was a lovely opportunity for them to meet beforehand. Martyn was brilliant throughout, professional, patient, calm and really encouraging. He helped build our son’s confidence behind the wheel and made the whole experience such a positive one. A huge thank you to Martyn and everyone at Chilled Driving Tuition. From the initial advice over the phone, to the Young Driver Experience Day and the intensive course itself, everything was fantastic. Best instructor, did an 55+ hour intensive with Simon and enjoyed every minute, passed first time with flying colours a month after my birthday. 100% recommend!

My son just had his 2nd young leaners experience and we did the standard the first time which he loved and extreme this time round. Wow it is was fun getting to go in the car and experience what my son did and going in the st was so fun. Highly recommend if you are thinking of booking for your teen.

I cannot be thankful enough for my driving lessons! I’ve had so many laughs and thoroughly enjoyed learning with Will M. He’s been so patient, encouraging and supportive throughout every lesson, and has made learning to drive and driving as a whole such an enjoyable experience. I’ve gained so much confidence behind the wheel and genuinely looked forward to every lesson. I couldn’t recommend Will M enough - thank you for everything!

Chilled were excellent for organising the intensive course and were bang on with how many hours I needed to feel comfortable passing the test. Graham (sadly now retired) was great for the intensive section and Martin helped massively in building that final bit of pre-test confidence. Many thanks to both of them and the office staff for making passing the test a breeze and living up to their company name!

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Will M. From the beginning he’s been incredibly patient and always took the time to make sure I completely understood something. From day one I’ve always felt comfortable and whenever something didn’t go right, you could genuinely tell he wanted the best for you and he was determined to help. I struggled with the clutch at the beginning and debated switching to automatic but I’m so glad I continued with it and one day it just clicked! I will miss my lessons because as well as learning to drive, it was just 1h and half each week chatting and always having a laugh along the way! When I did pass, I honestly think he was more excited than I was! It was lovely to see how genuinely proud he was of me. Not just him but also his wife was so lovely saying good luck before the test and congratulations when I passed. I was extremely nervous when I first started and thanks to Will I’m now excited to drive. Past me would never of thought she’d be driving and pass the test with only 1 minor, I still can’t really believe it!I couldn’t recommend Will enough and if anyone asks about chilled driving I will definitely tell them to try and get Will M! We had a great experience with Sam at Chilled Driving. He was great with my daughter who is autistic, helping her to feel confident and able to learn. He was also very happy to discuss her needs with me so we all felt supported and heard. She went on to pass first time and that is a testament to not only his teaching skills but his approach as a person.

Passed first time with my instructor Danny Meier about three weeks ago. Danny was absolutely fantastic, really helpful and a lovely guy, the lessons were really relaxed and felt really well tailored what I needed. I've been driving a lot with my job since then and even more important than passing, I feel like Danny's lessons set me up really well to be safe and confident on the roads after my test! I would highly recommend chilled and Danny.

He was patient, friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly, which made me feel much more confident behind the wheel. I honestly couldn’t recommend Chilled’s Automatic Driving School enough, and especially my instructor, Paul! I was quite an anxious learner, and Paul was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He was incredibly patient, calm and reassuring, and worked with my anxiety rather than ever making me feel pressured or uncomfortable. He helped build my confidence lesson by lesson and made sure I felt genuinely prepared for my test - and thanks to his teaching and support, I passed first time! I also have a very rigid and difficult work schedule, and Chilled were fantastic at working around it. They went out of their way to make sure I could get the lessons I needed and was properly prepared in time for my test, which I really appreciated. If you’re an anxious learner, have a complicated schedule, or simply want an instructor who is patient, supportive and genuinely invested in getting you through your test safely and confidently, I would 100% recommend Paul and Chilled. I can't thank everyone enough, such a fantastic team. My son started at young drivers and did a few experiences, all of which were fantastic and gave him the confidence and skills early on. He's now just completed a 35hr intensive course with Paul A, and passed first time. A huge thanks to everyone who helped along the way. We managed to find a last minute test, the team were so supportive and organised arranging his instructor to be available and even squeezed him in for a last minute lesson the day before. Highly recommended. Couple of years to go and my daughter will be learning with chilled too. Thanks again.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Chilled Driving Tuition! I went from zero driving experience to passing my test after a 55-hour intensive course. Huge thanks to Paul, who made the first few days of getting used to a manual car feel completely seamless, and to Marco, who guided me through the rest of the journey. Both were incredibly patient, friendly, and easy to get along with. We spent each lesson working through whatever I felt I was struggling with while keeping up regular everyday driving practice. That approach made sure I wasn't just test-ready, but also feeling confident to keep improving on my own now that I have passed.

I have just passed my automatic test after doing a 40hr intensive course with chilled. I found booking/making amendments easy and they were very understanding when life just gets in the way and you need to move things about(as well as DVSA cancelling a test) My instructor Steve Murphy was absolutely fantastic with a calm easy going approach. I would highly recommend to any of my friends.
