Excellent Booking system on line. Learnt a lot from the people that came and bought a couple of the things they recommended following visit. Will be using again next year. Also learnt about the proper certs to support housing insurance.

Ian is a very courteous professional gent, who obviously knows the importance of customer service. From online appointment booking facility on his website, follow up phone calls and exceptionally clean, informative and understanding service received. I had a blocked chimney and Ian ran a camera up to find the problem. There was a fault in the installation so he even spoke to the original wood burner installers who put the system in for me to explain what was wrong. I was extremely grateful to have a knowledgable professional helping me to sort out my problem. Never actually had a sweep, but looking at the cleanliness of his equipment and care taken over my belongings I wouldn't hesitate to use again. Ian even gave me an air fresher for my vacuum as his smelt so fresh!

Ian was prompt, polite, tidy and did a great job. As well as sweeping the flue for my wood burner stove, he also took time to reseal my inside flue with cement and provided some great tips on how to maintain my stove - all at no extra charge! The added bonus was that you can book an appointment on line at your own convenience and choose a time that suits you which is great. I couldn't fault the service and would highly recommend.

This is the 2nd year we have used Cheroo and we have nothing but praise for the service. Ian is a very friendly and polite person who is extremely professional in what he does. He ensures the surrounding area to the fire is dust sheeted and covers the log burner front with heavy duty plastic to ensure soot doesn't escape. When the job is finished you really can't tell your chimney has been swept…. The room is not dirty. What we really like is the ease you book and pay for the service! You receive a reminder to say you are due a clean - you follow the link to the website and using a very easy booking tool you book the time and date convenient to you! - you can then easily pay through the website - so you can easily do everything all at once ! …. All in all an excellent service!

Ian arrived on time to my house in Knowle, was cheerful, professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely use Cheroo Chimney Sweeps again. The only downside is I have found myself humming Chim Chim Cher-ee by Mary Poppins ever since Ian's visit. 100% recommendation. .

I contacted Cheroo as an unfortunate pigeon had managed to get itself stuck in my chimney. I explained the situation to Ian over the phone who advised me when he would be available, what the job would normally entail, what it would cost me and what I could expect in the meantime prior to his arrival (i. E. The pigeon causing soot to fall so best put an old sheet down! ). When Ian arrived (exactly at the time he told me he would) he was the consummate professional, explaining what he would do, why this was the best approach to take and what would happen. He brought all the specialist equipment he would need (my previous experience of other sweeps had seen me hunting around for old sheets when they arrived) along with a high powered vacuum to tidy up afterwards. As soon as he had explained everything and answered my questions he immediately set to work and, before I knew it, the chimney was clear and my lounge was even more tidy than when he arrived! Once the job was complete Ian took the time to explain the options available to me to prevent any other birds getting in to the chimney in the future, outlining the potential risks of covering a chimney incorrectly. I was particularly impressed with this as Ian does not offer the service himself and advising me of options and potential pitfalls of badly covered chimneys would not generate him any further work. He was polite, professional, approachable and keen to answer any questions I had regarding the job. Ian, his work ethic and his approach to customer service mean I will not be going anywhere else for my future chimney seeping needs and would 100% recommend Cheroo to anyone.Moreexpand_more
