Terrible excuse for a company. I arrived to find that the massage would take place in a tatty old room at the back of a rundown leisure centre (the receptionist of the centre wasn't even aware that Beulah Tempora was a business in their building). I waited in a corridor outside the room…. And waited…. And waited. The door was locked, so at the appointment time I called the number on the door, but there was no answer. After 5 minutes I called again…. Still no answer. Fifteen minutes after my appointment time I went back to the reception desk to be told that due to unforeseen circumstances no massages were taking place that day. What a waste of me sourcing childcare to go for a relaxing massage for a completely wasted trip. I was told by the leisure centre receptionist that they had been made aware of the massage therapist's absence the day before, and that she should have informed me. She hadn't. I left a voicemail with Beulah after I left the premises expressing my disappointment, and two days later I received a babbling voicemail trying to lay blame with Groupon, who apparently should've told me the massage was cancelled. Well that's strange as I didn't even book with Groupon, I booked with the Beulah Tempora massage therapist directly! As such they have no excuse whatsoever for not informing me that my massage had been cancelled, and wasting my time. A completely unprofessional company, who obviously do not know how to run a business properly. I would not recommend them both based on my experience that day and also based on the appearance and location of the therapy room. Response : Hi the service had to close unexpectedly that day as an emergency has arisen. We had to bring in voluntary personal to help cancel all appointments. Unfortunately, there were no contact details available to contact you. The voluntary personal had left details with the Sports Centre. All other clients were contacted, as we had there contact details readily available. When we spoke with you on the telephone, we offered an apology, of which you did not want to accept, rather you had informed us of your plans to black list our name.
Based on this, there was very little that we could of to rectify this situation. As stated previously we had an extreme emergency that had arisen and there was nothing we could do about this. We request from each clients to provide contact details, which is very important especially when problems arise.Moreexpand_more
