Sessions with Anne have had such a wonderful impact on my life. Her kind and open style allowed me to relax and fully immerse myself in the hypnotherapy process. My first experience with hypno was with Anne, and she walked me through every step of the way. My progress was carefully and mindfully mapped, so it was was tangible and easy to understand. I did all my sessions with Anne over Zoom, and I found this to be a huge benefit to me. I could fit the sessions around my schedule without having to factor in travel time. Anne also left me to relax after my sessions and it was so wonderful to soak up all of the benefits from the comfort of my own bed or sofa. I would highly recommend, and I'll be coming back if I ever need top-ups in the future.
Anne has helped me with a number of issues over the last few years. I first went to see her about arachnophobia and was amazed by the results. I always enjoy my sessions and leave feeling more positive. More recently I have found that that the zoom sessions have worked really well are are easier to fit around other commitments. I would highly recommend Anne’s to anyone looking for solutions focused hypnotherapy… it works! Thank you .
Working with Anne was transformational. I decided to work with her to help me manage nerves when public speaking. I was finding work presentations increasingly difficult and stressful and feeling that I wasn't doing myself - or the work of my team - justice. Anne did some hypnotherapy with me during our sessions and I reinforced this by listening to recordings in the evening, which was easy to do as they ranged from 15 to 40 minutes so could easily fit into the time I had available. I also kept a diary of positive reflections and tried to spend more time with people who were positive, energising influences in my life. Over the course of two months or so my confidence came back and I knew I had turned things around when I was enjoying delivering presentations and even receiving messages from colleagues telling me they had learned a lot about presenting and would be trying some of the techniques I was using! That was beyond by wildest expectation! The unexpected benefit of working with Anne was the positive impact on my life day to day - not just at work. The increased pandemic workload, some personal challenges and the support I was giving to friends going through very difficult times was taking it's toll and I was feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and unable to focus for long periods. The sessions with Anne enabled me to clear my mind and slow down, which contrary to expectation, actually made me more productive and able to make better decisions more quickly without agonising over everything! Prioritising looking after my own wellbeing has made it easier to draw boundaries and then be a better support to others. While I didn't see myself as a worrier or anxious person, I would always take on a lot and 'load up' my life. Being able to step back and pause I now feel able to set new challenges for myself with the confidence that they are manageable - with occasional help from Anne and regular listening to the hypnotherapy recordings to ensure I stay relaxed and grounded.Moreexpand_more
When I came to Anne. I was a wreck. My anxiety levels were through the roof and I had a million thoughts spinning in my head at once. I had tried counselling before bit talking wasnt enough, I needed solutions. Anne listened and gave me the solutions I needed. Once I had overcome my immediate anxiety, I asked to look at other issues stemming back to my childhood. Two years later and the difference is incredible. I used to constantly feel like every day was a fight and was holding onto so much anger for so long. It takes time but it is so worth it!
My reason for contacting you directly now is to let you know how far I’ve come since my sessions with you. I had a massive confidence crisis over public speaking which had lasted for years and which limited any progress I was able to make professionally. I am now delivering presentations and training sessions all over the North West and to colleagues and other teams. I would never have imagined in my wildest dreams that I would ever have been in this position and it is ultimately because you showed me the way and for that I will always be truly grateful. I think this situation, with all the down time, enables us to reflect a little, and I felt it was time to let you know just how much you have helped me, so thank you Anne so much. My intention is to return at some point for a top up session. People should be aware of just how good you are as a practitioner ? .
I started seeing Anne in November 2018 for Anxiety and have had 4 sessions which finished last week. I can honestly say that Anne has helped me tremendously. I came out of my first session feeling so much calmer and at peace with myself. I find the sound bites invaluable and listen to them often. They are like a comfort blanket and are very calming and help me sleep. Anne is a wonderful person and I could talk to her about anything. She is so easy to talk to and even though I feel a lot better within myself, I am going to carry on seeing her every few months so that I can keep up with implementing the tools she has taught me to help keep my anxiety at bay.
My situation was that I was transitioning from one career to another and needed help with confidence. I was also going through some family bereavement too. Anne has taught me some methods of relaxation and self preservation, keeping my 'stress bucket' from overflowing. I'm overwhelmingly pleased with how much more calm I am in situations where previously I would have reacted more emotionally.
Hello! I've had 4 sessions with Anne now. Anne stands out because of her compassion, genuine caring nature and highly positive focus. She re-introduced me to the importance of confidence, kindly and clamly listened to all my dramas and got me back on Track with my positive thinking. I love the soundfiles- I had deep dreams afterwards. I sent a friend to Anne who was having severe anxiety over her relationship. My friend had a single session with Anne and according to her "the anxiety suddenly left her body and never came back after that. " She didn't even need to listen to the soundfiles! Anne was there for me at a time when NO one else was. I have always been quite a self-conscious person. However over the last 3 years this got significantly worse and a sickening anxious feeling would be with me all day every day. It stopped me from fully being myself around my closest friends, stopped me from doing things at work that may help me progress or even the smallest of tasks/events that I couldn't get out of, would leave me feeling anxious for weeks leading up to it and then worrying about it for weeks afterwards. In February I decided I had to do something about it as I knew it would only continue to get worse. I was adamant that I did not want to resolve my anxiety with medication, so after researching that hypnotherapy could help with anxiety I found Anne's details online. I read some of the previous reviews and decided to make an appointment. From the initial phone call Anne was extremely friendly and made me feel so at ease talking to her. Throughout my sessions Anne explained how the brain works and why we can end up feeling the way we do. She taught me how to relax properly and gave me advice on how to reduce the anxious feeling when I was faced with events or tasks at work that were outside of my comfort zone. After every session I had a different recording to listen to at home which I still do most days even now. My first session with Anne was at the end of February and my last was last week and what she has helped me to achieve in just 4 months is wonderful. My confidence has soared, I no longer have a lingering anxious feeling every day and I have even managed to do a presentation at work as well starting the ball rolling with a new position – the thought of an interview 4 months ago was not even a remote possibility. There are days when the anxious feeling or nerves return but what Anne has taught me means the feeling may only last a few minutes as I can control what I am feeling and carry on without that awful feeling staying with me all day as it used to be. Starting hypnotherapy with Anne to address anxiety around my health has had a major impact on my health and well being. I have regained my sparkle and love for life, she has helped me address issues such as lack of motivation and stress easily and after a few sessions I am back to my old self. I very rarely think about my health as I am too busy focus img on future plans and enjoying life. Thank you Anne you are a great listener and a skilled hypnotherapist.
