How much will you have to pay for our equity release services?

For establishing your needs and making a recommendation, we charge an up-front fee of £395. If you decide to go ahead with our recommendation an application fee of £595 is payable. Therefore total fee payable is £990.

If you choose to proceed with our recommendation and your lifetime mortgage / home reversion plan goes ahead, we will also be paid commission from the company that lends you money / buys your home.

If you apply for a lifetime mortgage or home reversion plan that does not go ahead, you will receive no refund.

You will receive a personalised illustration when considering a particular equity release product. This will highlight the key facts about the lifetime mortgage or home reversion plan including any fees relating to it.

Andy Wilson Financial Services Ltd provides advice and recommendations using the whole of the market available for Equity Release products to clients across the East Midlands and beyond.

For Equity Release advice the clients will need to be aged 55 or over, own their own home and have a genuine need to release some of the value tied up in the property.

There are two types of Equity release plan available; a 'Home Reversion' plan, which involves the sale of some or all of the home in return for a lifetime occupancy of the property, and a 'Lifetime Mortgage' which involves a mortgage being placed on the property for the remainder of the applicants lifetime. No payments are required on either plan and the plans are only paid off when the applicant(s) either die or leave the property for some reason.

A variety of Lifetime Mortgage loan options are available including:

- maximum lump sum cash release plan
- interest only plans
- full 'roll-up' of interest plans
- drawdown plans - allowing a gradual withdrawal of equity over the applicant's lifetime - inheritance protection options
- downsizing options
- equity release for buy to let and holiday home properties.
